Welcoming staff from moment arrived, super helpful and friendly and polite every interaction. The location is fantastic moments from main square and Rossio station, Main Street with arch, trams outside, handy to everywhere. Fantastic breakfast and rooftop bar breathtaking but staff exceptional. I haven’t been treated as well or welcomed as much by a hotel in a long time a lot of hotels could learn from them about service

The tub was not draining properly.. we called and someone came but did not fix the problem.. a plumber should have come

We spent a week at the hotel Mundial and were honestly well looked after without being overwhelmed. The hotel were not intrusive and yet the small things that they did without us asking were pleasant surprises and made our stay very comfortable and enjoyable. The room exceeded our expectation in that it was much larger than we had expected. Tea/coffee facilities, mini bar, hairdryer, bath robes and slippers, TV and water were all at our disposal. The beds were comfy and the room very clean. The bathroom was also much bigger than expected with a bath AND a separate shower, 2 basins, a toilet and a bidet. Again all very clean with amenities kept topped up. Breakfast was all that you could desire - hot and cold buffet, cereals, different fruits daily, a variety of bread rolls and pastries daily, pancakes, jams and yoghurts, there wasn’t really anything missing! Coffee is from a machine and tea pots are available for the selection of teas offered. The staff are welcoming and ready to answer all questions. Hats off to the door staff, these guys are constantly smiling and attentive and more than willing to have a chat with you and listen to what you’ve done or where you’ve been during the day. They’ll even engage in offering their tips on where to go or what they recommend.

There’s really not much to say here. In the rooms I guess some coat hooks by the door would be a great addition. The cleaners sometimes cleaned at 3/4pm which would be siesta time so sometimes it was a little awkward/disturbing. Breakfast could start a little earlier at 6am or 6:30am rather than 7am since you have to be at the tour meeting point at 8am so it doesn’t leave a lot of time for breakfast.

The staff was soooo lovely and upgraded us, have us a free drink and brought port and patties to our door! So kind thank you!

The location of this hotel was perfect. The hotel was clean the breakfast was nice, we also had a lovely view up on the roof bar. The staff were all polite and very helpful. At the entrance next to the hotel is a supermarket that’s has all you need. Our room was a good size and it was very comfortable I would go back to this hotel. When I read some reviews I was a bit worried,but I can’t find a single complaint it was perfect.

The hotel is very centrally located and right in the middle of the touristic locations. Especially as a family with children, it was very important to be able to reach the hotel whenever we wanted. Although it was not a very new hotel, it was really clean. The beds and pillows were very comfortable and the air conditioners in the room were enough for heating. Breakfast was very good and the variety was sufficient. The staff were generally courteous and helpful. The fact that they kept our luggage until the flight time and that there was a lobby where you can have coffee and tea and relax at any time of the day was a well thought out detail. The highlight of my stay was enjoying a great breakfast in a high-end restaurant setting with the best view of the city. The hotel also has a rooftop bar with stunning 360-degree views — it truly feels like the whole city is in your hands. The reception staff were helpful, and the room was clean, comfortable, and great value for money.

A couple of small downsides: the reception area on the ground floor was a bit hot, which made waiting with luggage slightly uncomfortable. Also, there were no power outlets near the bed, so I had to charge my phone across the room, which was inconvenient.

Rooms a bit outdated but it was clean, comfortable and in the heart of lisbon

Perfect central location for exploring Lisbon. Lots of options at breakfast. Staff were very pleasant and helpful. The extra treats provided in our room were a lovely touch.

The only issue we had was that the air conditioning in our room didn't work - we were told it only operated in that part of the hotel during the summer months. We did find it quite warm and had to sleep with our balcony door open every night (I wouldn't have been comfortable with this if we hadn't been six floors up). Ironically, we had received a free room upgrade - if we'd been in the original room we booked, the air conditioning wouldn't have been an issue and we wouldn't have known what we were missing!

This hotel was a perfect location for the historic quarter. The hotel itself was very nice and staff were very helpful and friendly. Breakfast was excellent and we got to eat our in the Veranda which had a 360 degree panoramic view of the city. On arrival a small bottle of port and two of the renown custard tarts were sent to our room. Great way to start our trip. We were also given complementary drinks in the roof top bar. A great start to our trip.

A group of people decided to have some drinks and food in the corridor leaving all their rubbish there afterwards. It took a couple of days before this was removed and even longer before the coffee table was wiped off all the dirty marks. Shame because everything else was spotless.
