The room was great! We stayed on the 5th floor and had a beautiful view of the castle! It’s in a really central location too, so you can easily find restaurants or walk around easily. Loved the breakfast buffet, and the staff were super nice and helpful! Just a note to other travellers: As most old building in Europe, the elevator is not at the entrance. You will need to go up 2 flights of stairs to reach the elevator. Which is perfectly fine in my opinion. However, If those stairs do you in, you’re probably in the wrong city anyway😂 Overall we were very happy with our stay, and I would definitely stay at this hotel again!

The shower should have a small shelf for guests to put things. Also, having a small power bar near the bed so you can charge your phone would be very convenient.

The location of the hotel was great for access to the city. We all found the staff very easy going & helpful towards any questions or issues we had. The airport transfer service was booked through the hotel, we travelled in style both ways. This can be a hassle, but not on this holiday.

My pillows in 406 were very baggy & I didn't have a waste bin. The breakfast was obviously more European, which you would expect. We noticed occasionally when some items ran out, they were not replaced (eggs & croissants). My friend wanted to have the melon but it was always rock hard, maybe still frozen. Also we had to eat of small plates (saucers)!

Perfect location aground the corner from main square if Rossio for metro AND train to Sintra. Great bed, shower pretty good in a bath, did I mention great location! Staff at reception very helpful and knowledgeable made things so easy, better than air bnb with no help.

We upgraded to balcony but I think that meant closer to the street which was a little noisy at times... Not bad nose but enough to wake me, a light sleeper. Still, three location compensated amply. A few stairs up to reception and 1 flight up to the elevator... Booking. Com has this wrong in their filter.

The location was great as it was almost right next to the tram tours that went throughout Lisbon. It was also centrally located to a lot of nearby sights and attractions. The breakfast was nice with a good selection. The staff were especially helpful and any single time I had a question they were quick to assist. Rooms were air conditioned so it was great to return to a nice cool room after a hot day out!

I wouldn't change anything as I had no negative experience and can't think of anything to improve!

Location was amazing, staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast had a good variety of options. Rooms were clean and comfortable.

Rooms on the first floor have all the breakfast traffic passing each morning which was very loud as people don’t realize, so talk very loudly and the floor is wood so sounds like stomping. Wasn’t a huge problem as I needed to wake up at that time anyway, but wouldn’t be good for late sleepers. Carpet would help reduce the noise! Best to ask for higher rooms facing the back which is an empty courtyard and they would be silent.

The staff were friendly and helpful , the room was quite clean and cozy especially the bathroom was amazing.

The elevator was a bit too small, no heating system in the room so it would feel cold if under 10c

Clean, comfy room in the heart of Baixa. Most convenient location in the road behind a square so easy transport near Rossie Metro and busses. Lots of restaurants and bars. 24hr reception. Quiet hotel. Only noise was faint voices during breakfast hours as I stayed on first floor where breakfast rooms are. I feel like Baixa is also the flattest part of Lisbon, at the bottom of all hills so was an easy walk. Loved my stay

The room was clean, recently renovated, with new, neat furniture. Towels were changed daily. But one day, when we returned to the hotel in the evening, there was no towel in the bathroom, old or new, but we immediately received two bath towels from the reception. The breakfast was good. I would like to mention the beautiful dining room.

The room corresponded to the description in the booking, with the exception of the window, which looks in the photo as if it opens to the outside, large and bright. In reality, the window is small and opens into a small square, interior, covered space, where other room windows on the other sides also open. For this reason it was almost impossible to breathe. On the fourth day, I had the impression that there was not enough oxygen left in the room.

Clean room, clean bedding, comfortable bathroom, amazing, friendly & pleasant staff and the hotel is in a perfect location. Perfect for those who want to book a room to stay after a long day of exploring Lisbon & surroundings. You’ll find supermarket within 2 mins walk, 5 mins walk to Rossio Square and all other popular point of interest are within walking distance too (Miradouro de Santa luzia, Praça do commercio, Baixo-Chiado & 1 metro stop to airport from Rossio, direct trains to Sintra from Rossio main station and probably more place you can walk to within Lisbon depending on your time).

The location is excellent - it's on Augusta Street, so it's easy to get everywhere you need to go. The room was more than adequate, spacious and clean and had everything I needed. The staff were friendly and helpful and we were able to leave our luggage after check-out, which was very helpful!

There were two TVs, one in the living room and one in the bedroom, but neither was working. Also, the coffee machine was fine for cold, but did not produce hot. Both would be perfect if they were improved but not a major problem. We had no problems, but the room is on the fourth floor and there are only stairs. Also, it's on Augusta Street, so it's busy until late at night. So some people might not fit in
