Beautiful inside and out - great location, it was so central - literally couldn’t have been better! Great facilities in the room and the cleaners did a fabulous job every day - it was spotless!

Kettle, coffee etc provided but when I asked for some milk it was going to cost €8 to bring me some which felt a bit excessive…also missing teaspoons randomly!

The bathroom for our room was poorly designed. There was a bathtub but we had to shower inside the bathtub which was inconvenient. Additionally there was no shower curtain or a door to divide the bathtub and the rest of the bathroom (toilet, sink) so every time we took a shower, the water will splash everywhere and the bathroom floor will be covered with water. We tried to minimize the leaking as much as possible but it was impossible since the bathtub was placed weirdly in the middle of the bathroom. I would've preferred a normal shower room without a bathtub.

The only complaint I have, that will soon be addressed, is no lounge area with comfortable chairs and sofas to sit while you wait for your room. I arrived at 11am and since check-in isn't till 3 p.m., I had no place to sit other than very uncomfortable chairs in the restaurant. I had a tour at 2:30pm and had to leave so I did not get into my room till 7pm. There were many other guests waiting as well. Andri, the Front Office Manager, was terrific. Room lovely, very clean and good view of the square. Location is a "10" and staff friendliness. I was there for 3 nights.and he gave me a late check out as my train for Porto did not leave till 1:15pm. Really great breakfast buffet with friendly staff.

Location was superb as it's easily walkable (within 10-15 mins) for most touristic locations and restaurants and supermarket. It's also very convenient to walk to the Lisbon Rossio train station if you want to go to Sintra. We booked the family room and it was surprisingly two separate rooms with a connecting door which was the best. The rooms were clean and equipped with the basic amenities you need. It was lovely they provided you free water everyday. Staff were all very helpful too.

I guess it's the slightly higher price compared to the rest of the hotels in Lisbon but it's worth the money. The restaurant at the ground floor of the hotel however wasn't up to par when you a whole variety of choices of restaurants nearby.

We loved every minute of our stay! From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed with a complimentary room upgrade, a free drink at the bar, and bottled water in our room. Our fourth-floor room was spacious, quiet, and well-equipped with a minibar, kettle, and espresso machine, along with a generous supply of complimentary teas, coffees, and replenished water. The staff went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed. A special thanks to the reception team, who were knowledgeable, helpful, and provided excellent guidance day and night. The only area for improvement would be the bar service. On one occasion, I was told there was no Grappa, only to find it myself. Another time, I ordered a specific type of Port from the menu but received a different one. A bit more training for the bar staff on available selections would make the experience even better. Overall, a fantastic stay, and we would gladly return!

The location was excellent - within walking distance of many of the sights. The room was cleaned very well every day. The cleaning staff were friendly and helpful.

The staff in reception were not friendly. Even though we were there for a week we were assigned a room that was dark and noisy (tram in street outside). We saw other rooms during our stay which were facing on the square and were brighter. The hotel does not have a foyer in the normal sense. It's all part of the restaurant. The result is that there's nowhere to relax and sit.

Our stay in Lisbon wouldn't have been as positive if we didn't stay in this beautiful hotel! The service was top class. The lovely receptionist organised our taxi service from the airport and it was seamless. From our first arrival we were welcomed with smiles! The location is excellent, no need for Ubers as everything is within walking distance from the hotel. The hotel room itself is spacious and immaculately clean. The bed is extremely comfortable and there is a smart tv to connect to your phone to play music in the room! The bathroom was decorated very nicely and Rituals products were available, a real luxurious treat. Even though this hotel is so central, the shutters in the room block out the noise from the street and you wouldn't even know you were in the centre. I couldn't recommend this hotel more!

Loved everything.

Have nothing but positive things to say about this hotel. We unexpectedly got upgraded and we were delighted. A free bottle of wine, pastel de nata’s and drink vouchers were left for us. We had a great view of the square and considering how busy the atmosphere is outside, you cannot hear any of that in the room with the windows and shutters closed. The staff were extremely accommodating, took our luggage to our room, showed us to our room and rang to check everything was okay. The coffee machine and pods and water that was refilled every day was also a lovely touch. The bed was huge, very comfy, lovely soft feel to the sheets and the shower was perfect.

Lovely hotel in a really central location. It’s decorated well and we had a huge bed. We had a side room which meant we could climb out onto the balcony and watch the fireworks without having to brave the NYE crowds. A lovely touch leaving a bottle of of fizz and the traditional raisins out on NYE.

The lobby is also a really busy restaurant. The staff are separate so it’s fine but it’s sometimes loud and just worth knowing in advance. It totally threw us when we arrived.

The location is nice, close to places of interest, and sufficiently peaceful. The staff is super friendly, and even the elsewhere-impossible request of turning off the heating in the room was acknowledged and fulfilled.

The beds are dimensioned for midgets or the like. Being an average-height person (184 cm), my options were to keep my legs bent, my feet off the bed, or not use a pillow. The rooms appear to lack ventilation, and the options are to have the window open for fresh air or get used to bad air during the night.
