-Great value for what you get -Incredible location, don't think you could get any better -dark shutters meant no light got in at night -great AC in room -I heard no noise at all, though I do sleep with earplugs -Given bottle of water in room, TV & ours had a small balcony overlooking the square with a couple of chairs to sit out -Friendly staff, there 24/7 -Great breakkie that changed slightly on different days- juices, coffees, cereals, breads rools and slices for toast, or a toastie in the toastie maker, basic meats, cheeses, tomatoes & cucumber, plus an extra little pie/tortilla/egg, changing fruits and several changing cakes too. We're veggies, and always ate really well -Vending machines & alcohol available for purchase -lots of info on tours, pub crawls etc...though for a hostel, it was very geared towards coupes and families!
Reception on 2nd floor & our room was on 4th. It was OK for us with no suitcases but wouldn't fancy getting a big case up there! Also meant "nipping" back to our room if we'd forgotten something took an age! One day we had a late breakfast, and the cleaning staff appeared to start cleaning the rooms and every bathroom on our floor at the same time, so we ended up being stranded without being able to get a shower etc for quite a long time! Would have liked a double room with ensuite for a married couple, but not sure if these are offered, or if we just ended up missing out on booking!

We had to cancel our original stay from 2020 and were excited that we were able to book again. Communicate was excellent. We were traveling with our infant son and requested a crib or something for him to sleep in. They provided a pack n play and had it all set up when we arrived. They also offered a high chair for breakfast. LOCATION: A few steps from the Rossio metro line and close to the Rossio train station (a block or two). Located close to two squares, as well as tram, bus, and trolley stops. The squares had Christmas Markets that we enjoyed each evening. There are multiple restaurants and shops close by and its about a 15 minute walk to the riverfront, 10 minute walk to each other district(Alfama, Bairro Alto and Chiado). RECEPTION & STAFF: The reception is located on the 2nd floor and is open 24 hours. They have a vending machine with water and snacks and wine for purchase. Every staff member we spoke to or encountered was friendly and helpful. BREAKFAST: We booked with breakfast included. You sign up for a time slot, to prevent everyone from coming at the same time. They have alot of options: eggs, potatoes, tomatoes, cheese, meats, different types of breads and cakes, fruit, cereal, yogurt, a coffee machine that can make espresso, coffee with milk, macchiato, and a juice machine. There's also a panini press to make a warm sandwich. They're very efficient in keeping the food stocked and everything so clean and neat. ROOM: We booked a triple with private bathroom. It was located on the 3rd floor. We had a small hallway, which we had a key for and then our room. We never heard any noise from inside the pension (nothing above us or next to us). Our room was clean and had everything we would need: desk, chair, small closet with hangers, small safe, mini frig, microwave (we didn't use). Bathroom was well stocked. There's blackout curtains on the windows. And a flat screen TV but we didn't use it.
We didn't mind this but there is no elevator. The entrance is on the ground floor so it's two full flights up the stairs to the reception and then the rooms are on the 2nd, 3rd or 4th floors. I'd recommend not bringing a large or oversized suitcase. The first set of stairs are steep. Also the location is great but being close the square, there's a little bit of noise from outside. Nothing too loud but I'm a light sleeper and could hear chairs being moved at the cafe outside next door.

I travelled to Lisbon alone. As a single woman it was important to me to feel safe where I stayed. The hotel is close to a lively and beautiful area of the city which meant I didn’t have walk too far to find somewhere to eat in the evenings. My room was clean and the bed really comfortable. I had a lovely view of the square which I enjoyed popping down to for sangria and delicious foods. The breakfast was good. The usual continental foods but good quality and plenty for all. The value for money was what drew me to this hotel and I was so pleased with everything I got for my money. I stayed for 5 nights which felt plenty to see Lisbon and the surrounding attractions like Sintra and Cascais which I would recommend.
There wasn’t anything I didn’t like.

Hotel is surrounded by restaurants, stores like Zara, H&M, as well as souvenir stores. The metro stop is liberally outside of hotel, or you can catch a bus or taxi making it easy to get around. My room was small and vasic, but very comfortable. The shower and tub was very small, but I made it work.
Because their breakfast area is so small you have to say in advance what time you plan to eat breakfast. If you show up outside of that time, it creates an inconvenience for the person in charge of the breakfast area. They make it work for you, but you feel like you are being a bother. Breakfast served was perfect. Fresh cut tomatoes and cucumbers. Fresh fruit, hard boiled eggs, meat slices and cheese, assorted breads and pastries. Juices and coffee or tea. Because of their breakfast, I was able to skip lunch and just eat dinner. It helped me save Money on my trip.

Location is the best you can find in Lisbon. I had a room with a small balcony that overlooked the square. It had a shared bathroom but it was spectacularly clean and I never faced any issues at any time. The pantry had a fridge microwave plates cutlery everything well stocked. Being a solo woman traveller I felt extremely safe at the property. It has dual lock system. One for the floor and one for the room.
It's just a recommendation to have early breakfast timing. It starts at 7.30 which is a bit late as most of the activities start at 8.00am. You are in a hurry to finish your breakfast and miss the opportunity to relish it.

Simple accommodation, with a very helpful and friendly staff. Small breakfast area, therefore the solution is to schedule a timeslot for when to have breakfast. That works nicely. There is fresh breakfast, and good attention of the staff. The area is kept clean nicely and there is good continuous supply of fresh food. Every day some small changes to keep it varied. Very important positive point: the accommodation is in the center of the nice part of town, next to Rossio Square. Perfect location!
Not a big problem for us, but be aware that the accommodation reception is on the 2nd floor and our room on the third. There is no elevator, so some stairs need to be climbed. This could pose an issue for people that are not fully mobile.

Our room was very, very clean (the most important thing to me) and ended up looking better decorated than in the photos here or in their website. It wasn’t extremely spacious, but it didn’t feel claustrophobic either. Beds were comfy, and the bathroom was a lot better than I expected as well — clean and spacious. Although a foul smell emanated from the shower drain, the water pressure was amazing, and once the shower was on, the smell disappeared. Breakfast, considering it was included in the price, was amazing! I didn’t expect any room cleaning in between, but they did, so that was another plus for me. The hotel is also very centrally located. The only thing we didn’t like was the entrance to the building — it could definitely use a makeover. Note, too, that there’s no lift, so it wouldn’t be ideal if going up several flights of stairs would be hard for you (the hotel reception is on the second floor, our room was on the third, and there’s a fourth). To get to the entrance of the building, we also had to walk through a street that smelled of urine the ENTIRE length of the way, until we were finally inside the building. Perhaps the rains after we left would’ve washed that off. That said, would stay here again as it was definitely value for money. We’ve stayed in posher hotels/apartments but as the point of travelling is to sightsee, it makes you feel bad to pay so much for nice accommodation, only to sleep there and zip out early the next day.

The location is excellent and although it is near a busy area it was quiet with the windows closed. I heard a few voices outside but it wasn't continuous. My room and en suite bathroom were clean and adequate. The shower was above a half bath with very high walls and you need to be fairly agile to climb in and out in the small space. A water bottle is supplied and very welcome. Breakfast was adequate and a good way to start the day. The pictures are accurate. Although I only stayed one night they allowed me to leave my bags for a few hours on check out day in a storage area and what really impressed me they let my son leave his bags there too although he had stayed in a different place
The room was clean (very important for me) but the furniture was brown and very drab looking.

Right in Rossio square, great location. Very good breakfast, spacious and clean room. The shared bathroom was never an issue, I didn’t meet any people at any time although it was fully occupied, and any time I used the bathroom it was clean.
Hot water is not really hot. One of the nights it was heavy rain outside and water started coming from the ceiling, after calling reception nobody was interested to help but luckily the rain soon stopped. Be mindful if difficulties with mobility, as the stairs are a lot. It’s outdated but clean, for the price you pay is pretty good value for money

The location was amazing - right in the centre with metro, bus, and tram stops nearby. The buffet breakfast had a variety of options, including meat, eggs, cheese, and fresh fruit. The main desk always had someone available to answer questions. The twin room had a lovely little balcony (just wide enough for a chair). The Air conditioning worked well. The shared bathrooms were kept clean, and we never found ourselves waiting to use the bathroom. There were kitchen facilities shared by the floor complete with fridge and stove.
Being on a main street, it was a bit noisy at night, but not bad with the window closed.
