Location is great, staff are amazing and the breakfast was one of the best selections I have seen, very good attention to details even saw proper maple syrup, and good quality olive oil. Little things matter.

Hard to find anything negative , but I would change the floors in the rooms, cheap vinyl plank flooring and then you got solid marble in the bathroom. Slope on the roof on top floor, hard for tall people,wallpaper is pealing on the walls.

When checking in we were told the mini bar and items were “complimentary - help yourself!” When checking out- we received $100charge for it. I think communication there could be better.

Wonderful and very central location on a busy walking street with many restaurants, cafes, and shops and just a few blocks from the main plaza (Praca do Comercio). Our room was clean, comfortable, and quiet. The shower was modern and wonderful and the beds were quite comfortable. The staff were friendly and helpful. There were so many nice touches to mention - there is a complementary "tea time" every afternoon where you can get coffee, tea and pastries. They have wonderful fado music in the restaurant several nights per week (we thought the group was talented) at no extra cost if you have dinner or an evening snack. The staff sent small bottles of port and chocolates and natas to the room.

We considered reserving breakfast the night before but changed our mind when we learned it was an additional charge if you didn't prebook all nights with breakfast included. This policy didn't seem consistent with this otherwise generous and accommodating hotel. The breakfast looked nice so be sure to add it when you book.

We had such a lovely 5- night stay at Santa Justa Hotel. The location is ideal – right in the heart of Lisbon’s old city and the hotel itself is spotless, with super comfortable beds. The staff were genuinely kind and helpful throughout our stay. We were so touched by the little surprises left at our door: pastel de nata and wine on the first day, then macarons, and later two small bottles of wine – such thoughtful gestures that made us feel really welcome. Even on our early morning checkout, they prepared a takeaway breakfast for us, which was so appreciated. Truly one of the best hotel experiences we’ve had. Highly recommend and would absolutely stay again!

We had the pleasure of staying at Hotel Santa Justa Lisboa from July 10th to July 13th, 2025, and I am writing this review both for future travelers and as a heartfelt thank you to the hotel staff. Location: The hotel’s location is absolutely unbeatable. Right in the heart of Lisbon, it made exploring the city on foot incredibly easy and enjoyable. Customer Service: Even prior to our arrival, I was in contact with the hotel regarding tours and activities. Their customer service was excellent from the very beginning — prompt, kind, and extremely helpful. They provided valuable guidance even before our trip began. Arrival & Stay: Upon arrival, the warm welcome we received immediately set the tone for a wonderful stay. Every day, we were pleasantly surprised with small gifts left in our room: one day chocolates, another day pastries, and even a bottle of wine — thoughtful gestures that made our experience feel personal and special. Staff: The front desk team was consistently polite, friendly, and incredibly knowledgeable. They went above and beyond in helping us arrange a memorable tour, both within Lisbon and beyond. The tour they recommended exceeded our expectations. Additionally, they facilitated our car rental from Lisbon to Porto at a very competitive rate, which was much appreciated. Room & Facilities: The room itself was immaculate, quiet, and perfectly maintained, with a fully equipped and modern bathroom. Every detail reflected comfort and quality. At no point did we feel like just hotel guests — every return felt like coming home, greeted with warmth and genuine hospitality by the entire staff. One small moment on our last day truly captured the spirit of this hotel’s service: as we were checking out, I noticed a little girl in the lobby crying. Hugo, one of the front desk staff, kindly approached her and her sister, offering them a small gift — I believe it was a treat of some kind — which instantly lifted their spirits.

The property is located in the center of the old town. You can reach easily all the major attractions. Lots of restaurants and cafe’s nearby . Despite being in the center, it’s still quiet . They have good soundproofing

The area feels overcrowded, with a constant flow of people and activity that can make it feel hectic and overwhelming, especially during peak hours. Additionally, there is extensive construction happening nearby, which not only adds to the noise levels but also disrupts the overall ambiance and ease of access. The hotel itself comes across as somewhat overpriced, particularly when compared to other accommodations of similar standards. This price difference seems largely attributed to its prime location, rather than offering superior service, amenities, or comfort.

Hotel located in the heart of Lisbon, very central to many touristic sights such as the Elevator of Santa Justa, the Arch on Rua Augusta, and the ocean-front. Almost everything is in walking distance, so we didn't need to use the public transport or call Uber to get to most things. The hotel is also about 5 minutes away by foot from the Rossio metro and train station, so if you want to take a day trip away, it's very easy. Staff at the hotel was very kind and accommodating. The first night we stayed, the building in front of the hotel started doing construction work at midnight... The next day, when we asked the front desk if there was any possibility to change to a different room on the property, they were able to accommodate us and even upgraded us to a bigger room. We were also given a gift and a personalized letter to apologize for the inconvenience, although none of it was their fault. Minibar in the room was refilled each day, with new water bottles, some fruit juice, Coca-Cola, beer, Nespresso coffee pods and tea. Beds were redone everyday, and towels replaced even without asking for room service.

Would have been nice to have an additional fan inside the bathroom to get rid of the steam, but otherwise, air circulation was good. Also, the restaurants on the same street as the hotel are a little annoying because they keep trying to get you to come inside.

My family and I were very impressed with Hotel Santa Justa. The location is just perfect for being close to all forms of transit, historic sites, old town, and shopping. We had breakfast included in our stay and the selection was excellent. Fresh and a good variety. We also dined in the hotel's Elevador restaurant for dinner one evening and it was amazing. Gourmet quality. Most impressive thing of our stay was the customer service. Hugo at the front desk was exceptional, as were the rest of the team - very helpful from check in through check out, also helped us arrange van service to airport. And, they even assisted with something we had left in the room after check out. Very impressive customer service. We were also able to check in as soon as we arrived at hotel in the morning, which was a pleasant surprise. I picked this hotel for the location and am very happy that on all aspects of the stay it was above and beyond expectations. Highly recommend this for a Lisbon stay!

A lovely hotel right at the touristic center of Lisbon. Very easy to reach and close to lots of transport options, as well as to some nice attractions like the Santa Justa lift, Placa de Comercio and more. The staff was very professional and kind. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable. I liked everything about it. Even though it's located on a fairly busy street, the window provides good noise insulation, although noise insulation between the rooms and hallway wasn't great. The free mini bar and complimentary wine and pastels de nata made us feel pampered. Overall, I would definitely recommend this hotel and I would love to stay there again.

We stayed at Hotel Santa Justa in Lisbon for four nights, and overall, we had a positive experience. One of the hotel’s strongest aspects was the friendliness and attentiveness of the staff. They responded quickly to our requests and provided excellent hospitality throughout our stay. The rooms were comfortable and clean, which made our stay even more enjoyable. The hotel’s central location was also a great advantage for exploring Lisbon.

We were disappointed with the airport transfer service. When arriving at the hotel, we booked the transfer through them and were charged €55. On our way back, we used Uber, which cost only €12. This significant price difference made us feel that the hotel’s transfer pricing was not fair.
