Amazing staff, fantastic location, rooms and little niceties like free soda in bar frdge, all day coffee/hot chocolate and sweets

I noticed the cleaning lady use the same gloves to clean bathroom as she did to wash our drinking glasses

Great Stay – Perfect Location, Just Skip the Hotel Transfer We had a great stay at this hotel and booked a suite on the 2nd floor. The location is perfect — walking distance to almost everything and very close to the iconic Tram 28. The suite was a bit small, but that’s typical for Europe. It was still clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed. Breakfast was included and quite good, and we appreciated the free bottled water available throughout the day. One thing we didn’t enjoy was the hotel-arranged pick-up. The lady driver who picked us up was cold and unwelcoming — not the best way to start a trip. Honestly, just get an Uber. It’ll cost around €20–25 instead of €85, and you might get a much better experience. Aside from that, we’d definitely recommend the hotel and would stay again!

They greeted us warmly, we had been there just three days prior, and that made check in that much easier. Champagne waited for us in the room. We had one of the family style suites. Location can’t be beat. Came back for the espresso martini at the bar.

Everything about the hotel was awesome. The rooms were well appointed and had everything you needed to be comfortable. The air conditioner kept the room cool. The shower was a treat. The location of the hotel couldn’t be better. We stayed in ‘suite’ 400/401 because we were traveling with my daughter. There was plenty of room and it was great having the extra bathroom. Hotel da Baixa is in the heart of the town and close to everything. The front staff was extremely helpful in getting private tours(which were so much fun) as well as drivers to and from the airport. They also recommend fantastic restaurants that were special and not touristy. We were extremely happy with everything about the hotel.

There wasn’t one thing that I was disappointed with the hotel.

Everything about this hotel exceeded our expectations. The location is perfect to see all of downtown, with being able to walk to most of everything. Rooms were clean and the beds were very comfortable. The hotel staff was wonderful and helped with anything that we needed (restaurant recommendations & reservations, helped with luggage, etc). Breakfast was excellent, lots of variety. Free water, coffee, tea and the walking tour! Taking Pedro’s free walking tour is a must, he is so knowledgeable and helpful with anything that we needed. I would stay at this hotel every time visiting Lisbon!

This hotel was fabulous for what we needed for our 3 day anniversary break away in Lisbon. The staff were all super friendly and very accommodating. they really looked after us and gave us some fantastic recommendations for restaurants and things to do. We booked a private day tour which was incredible to Cascais and Sintra. We stopped and saw so many interesting and amazing places. On our final day, we did the free walking guided tour organised by Pedro who was wonderful. He knew so much history and information about the city. It ended with a complimentary glass of wine and a free souvenir. He brought the whole group together and was so warm and welcoming with everyone. I would thoroughly recommend Pedro's tour to anyone staying at the hotel. The hotel reception staff were all really friendly and helpful and the food was lovely in the restaurant for breakfast. We had a lovely lunch on our final day. We were recommended to try the octopus and the duck risotto (both were lovely). We will be returning to this hotel again as it was so unique and great location too. thank you for giving making our anniversary so special. xxx

No window in the bathroom (but a lot of hotels have this problem). No mirror to do my make up at the dressing table in the bedroom but I used the bathroom mirror.

Sometimes 10 is not enough :) When the location turns out to be the best that can be expected, when the room looks even better in reality than in the pictures, when the breakfast is varied, so delicious and generously served, when the service exceeds all expectations and beyond, and when the service manager - Pedro conduct over all of these, and he does it with sensitivity, a smile and endless patience , you feel that this wonderful place must be rated above the possible 10.

Pedro and team offered absolutely high quality services, ranging from a warm welcome, an early check-in, a clean and comfortable room, to an amazing buffet breakfast served from 7 to 11 am, etc., to a free city exploration walk. Personnel are exceptionally professional, kind and respectful. Location cannot be better, in the central historical part of the city, close to all commodities and still calm area. The marble bathroom is exceptional for a 4 star hotel as well and a must to try. Many thanks as well for the delicious birthday cake and kind words; much appreciated your careful attention and the nice surprise!

The noise issue with the ventilation system was quickly and professionally handled and we were moved to a better room.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Hotel da Baixa for two days, and I couldn’t be happier with my experience! From the moment I arrived, I was warmly welcomed, and the service throughout my stay was outstanding. A special mention to Nuno Vieiza and Tamally Guman at the bar—they truly went above and beyond to make my stay even more enjoyable. Their hospitality, friendliness, and great recommendations made for a fantastic experience. The breakfast was excellent, with a wide variety of choices to suit every taste. My room was spotless, comfortable, and beautifully designed. It was also a lovely surprise to receive a welcome gift from the hotel—a thoughtful touch that made me feel even more special. I had an amazing time in Lisbon, and I highly recommend Hotel da Baixa to anyone visiting the city.

Everything was perfect started with pleasant refael that was very attentive at the chk in ❤️location is perfect main attractions and most stay travelled by foot from the hotel. Pedro the outstanding guest manager gave us a local tour explained every piece of history details and local stories .great bed with amazing shower ..buffet breakfast was perfect at beautiful restaurant.coffee tea and soft drinks cookies n fruit free all day .we travel a lot and have been to many hotels this hotel facilities n service was way beyond expected ❤️
