The hotel was amazing!! We had checked into another place, and it was HORRIBLE! Our Uber driver told us about the Vincci Hotel, and we can't say enough about it. The location, the amazing views and proximity to the river, the walkability, the short ride to everything!!!! OH, let's not forget the amazing roof top bar. We ordered food up there, and drinks, and all were great. Can't wait to stay again. They even stored a few of our bags for us, at not charge, for a week. All Front Desk staff was amazing, and extremely helpful.

Didn't care for the breakfast.

We were pleasantly surprised by the hotel. The room was large, spacious bathroom with separate bath and shower, a great bed and pillows. It had all the little luxuries we needed (including a small port!). Breakfast was excellent, the staff were really efficient and friendly. The hotel has a great rooftop bar with views of the river. It’s 20 minutes out of town. A flat walk along the river but obviously uphill to the city. But the area was reasonably quiet, without the hustle and bustle of the city centre, which was tourist heavy. We walked most of the time but Bolt cabs are plentiful, we never waited more than 6 or 7 minutes, and the fare into town is only about 5 Euros. The hotel was previously a derelict market and has been designed with an industrial / art deco feel, which we were a bit unsure about when we booked. But the design really works, we loved the hotel.

The only negative is that very few rooms have any view of the river, and there are trees in front of the hotel, but the view from the rooftop bar is amazing.

Very well maintained property - the facade of the building is misleading because it looks a little older but very nicely done from the inside. Staff was very helpful throughout the stay. Hotel is on the riverside so nice to get out for a walk. The bus and tram that takes you into town or to the beach stop across the street.

Nothing in particular. Breakfast buffet variety could be improved (I stayed for a week so it felt very similar at the end of it)

It was well worth the extra euros 60 per night to get a 'suite' with a river view as we could see the last bridge over the Douro and sunsets from our balcony. The staff were very helpful and friendly, and breakfasts were very good. Our suite was spacious and comfortable, and we loved the art deco architecture (which is why I chose this hotel). The public transport (including old trams) into the centre of Porto super conveniently located right outside. And the tram museum next door is worth a visit.

We decided to pay the extra euros 60 per night because the room we were first shown had no view at all. Of course, what we did get with our suite and view was a lot of traffic noise, but personally I didn't mind that (my wife did though).

There was a good choice at breakfast. Staff were very helpful. Fresh orange juice lovely, Nice large room. sadly though the hot food was not hot. Location was excellent for tram number 18 into the city and tram number1 to the beach and Riberia. Lots of space in the hotel and excellent size and bathroom facilities in our room

On our last evening 2 guests were able to open the door to our room with a key from reception. It could of been very embarrassing . Also security compromised. The toilets seemed very far from the bar /restaurant area was easier to go to your room. The carpet as you enter the hotel is very dirty and would be better replaced by something more practical.

The room is exactly as pictured. I showed up around noon (3 hours before check in), and the staff was able to find me a room early. Very friendly and welcoming. Staff at the upstairs restaurant was extremely friendly as well. Unfortunately it was raining during my stay so the patio was not open. They have a nice morning breakfast with a good selection a delicious fresh squeezed orange juice. . The location is wonderful. On the river and a 20 minute walk into the main part of town. Still far enough away to be quiet wt night.. Lots of cafes and restaurants around by the river if you aren't feeling up to going into town. Ubers and taxis come quickly. Would definitely stay here again.

Lobby is a little dated (would get rid of the dirty carpet upon entry), but don't let it fool you. The rooms are as pictured.

We had a river view room and the view was very nice. The view from the roof top restaurant is also very nice. The electric window blinds, nets and curtains is a nice touch. The hotel very kindly let us drop our luggage early which was very handy as we got to the hotel 5 hours before our check-in time. The breakfast was good and there was a good variety of food.

The price was a little expensive for one night but hey if you want a river view in Porto maybe you have to pay a bit more. The building looks a little bit worn from the outside looks better in the photos then in real life.

Breakfast was lovely, it exceeded my expectations. The room was comfortable and the bathroom was great. The location was also good and convenient to all the festival activities. The staff was very prompt and helpful when I had questions (like how to turn on the water in the shower) & when the air conditioning was not working.

Hard to pull the drapes back, I did not find a pull cord or anything to move the drapes or the sheer which was inconvenient when trying to let in or shut out light. The shower floor is VERY slippery when wet so although there is the SOS pull cord, some type of shower mat or texture added to the floor would be beneficial.

My husband and I celebrated our wedding in this beautiful hotel and we couldn't be more happy about it. Everything was perfect! The restaurant, the food, and the sunset drinks on the amazing rooftop were incredible. But most of all, we are forever grateful for the wonderful staff that made all of this happen. Everyone, with no exception, was so helpful, kind, and available that made the day even more perfect. The room where we stayed was super comfortable, with a beautiful view of the river, and the breakfast was really good. This hotel will always have a special place in our hearts and we definitely recommend it for a celebration or just to stay a couple of nights in Porto.

Very engaging and friendly staff. Never felt out of place asking for assistance and provided with a smile. The views from the sky lounge are breathtaking and were the highlight of our stay. The rooms are large and provide everything you need. Walk in shower and fully closing sleeping space allows you to sleep with a peace and comfort. The decor is quirky as it feels you are being transported to such a magical destination in the form of shipping containers. Highly recommend staying at this hotel! It was such a magical stay and we really appreciated the city more because of our ability to unwind and rest at Vincci Porto Hotel.
