So after my first stay in Leman Locke on the 21st to 27th of December, I couldn’t wait to come back again after spending a few days in Edinburgh. Once again, we were greeted by the friendly staff and this time, I was given a bigger room. The first room I stayed in was already huge but this was something else, there was so much space for two people to move around freely. Once again everything was clean and spotless, our room has a great view once again and our overall stay was so lovely. We did so much in London and it was always great to come back after a long day and feel right at home. It didn’t feel like we were in some cramp hotel but the apartment felt like a home away from home. One of the highlights of my trip was definitely our stay at Leman Locke. If you’re looking for good places to eat then you’re in luck, from Chinese Hotpot to amazing Indian food and steak at Shoreditch, your choices are unlimited. Thanks once again for having us. Can’t wait to be back!

For my first stay, I booked two rooms on the 21st to 27th of December. Firstly, I love how the property was is a great location. Apart from it being a stone’s throw away from my sister place, it was so easy to get to everywhere we wanted to go, a short 15 to 20 minutes walk to Tower Bridge or an even shorter walk to the tube (Algate East). I love how the hotel has a WhatsApp chat that we can just text to get what we needed. Besides that, the room was spotless and very clean, the beds and sofas were comfortable and I love how the kitchen was fully equipped and had everything I needed to whip up a feast. It was a very pleasant stay at Leman Locke, thank you guys for having us.

I would like to thank the entire team for making our stay much more pleasant. We initially had a few incidents of a broken dryer but the maintenance team was extremely prompt with the repair, and for that I am truly grateful. Excellent hospitality and extremely accommodating. Thank you for allowing us to check out a little later too since our flight was quite late, we didnt have places to go to :)

The lift took quite a while, most likely due to the fact that there isnt an up/down function, and probably one lift was under maintenance. Not much of an issue since there are stairs anyway :)

We had two weeks booked, but they had only set it up as if we were staying for a few days - had to keep asking for top ups of washing powder, dishwasher powder, toilet paper etc. every few days which was a little annoying The kitchen also only had two of every type of cutlery and plate, so we were forever cleaning them We only had one clean during our stay which wasn't enough The extraction fan in the bathroom and kitchen didn't work for the entirety of our stay, we asked for the technician and we believe he checked it while we were out one day but they still didn't work on our return Pillows on the bed were flat and uncomfortable- perhaps some new ones are needed

The sofa and bed were both very comfortable, and the decor was modern and light. The kitchenette was equipped with anything you could need. There is a tube station just down the road, and lots of small supermarkets nearby. I had a great view from my window, but I did pay extra for a city view.

There was an orange stain on the back of the sofa, and some hand marks on the headboard (otherwise everything was very clean). It could take a little while to get a lift from the top floor. Too much light streamed into the room from the hallway at night.

Amazing staff, smooth check in and check out, great location, really good rooms with everything required for a long stay. Super comfortable. Love everything.

There was a random cementy pillar in my room, separating the bedroom from the living room. It was not there in the room I had previously stayed in. Maybe just a one off situation. It was not inconvenient but just broke the aesthetic of the room which is so beautifully done up.

I like the location which is near the transport hub & easy access to other tourists hot spot with just walking distance. The staff have good hospitality, helpful & cheerful. We are lucky to get an early check in offered without extra charge. The room is clean, spacious, well equipped, comfortable and nicely designed. The bathroom is spacious and provided with clothes hanging facilities.

We get to stay on the lower floor and are only able to have views of tall buildings and playgrounds. Hopefully to have a higher & further view of London city in future stay.

Great first time at Leman Locke and I’ll definitely be back. The 30m studio was exactly as described and very comfortable. Great sound insulation so no noise problems other than inconsiderate guests talking loudly on the corridor at 11.30! Bed was comfy. Shower was piping hot and powerful. Great to have chrome cast on the TV and the WiFi was pretty quick The only problem I had was the fuse blew on the oven when I tried to use it. Was easy contacting the team and they were very responsive. When they couldn’t fix it they found a good work-around, and did it with a smile. I’d happily stay there longer for a bigger trip, felt a shame to Only be there for one night!

although the option for firmer pillows would be good.

I love the sitting area and kitchen. It is very spacious for a London hotel. Having a washing machine and dishwasher is great especially for a long trip. They even put the detergants for then. Room temperature was great. It was close to underground and groceries. It is all you can ask for a London trip.

The cleaning wasn’t perfect. Room service comes on wednesdays but they did not clean the room thoroughly. There was hairs on the bathroom floor and dusts on the shelfs. Not the best quaility cleaning. But the sheet and towels were quite clean.

Location is great, right out of the Aldgate East tube station. The room was spacious, especially if you compare it to the average London hotel room. Great communication with the hotel staff via WhatsApp, the cafe at the reception area was nice and cozy. The room was fully equiped with appliances for cooking and had a washing machine. It would be nice to have a dryer as well for the laundry. The higher floor room was a lot nicer than the lower one.

Our first room, number 607, is right next to the heating pipes going through the building. There was a irritating noise coming most likley from trapped air in the pipes. Made it impossible to tolarate and sleep. I requested another room. I got another one, lower category than the one I booked. We ended up not using it as the noise stopped after 1 hour. Next day, we were upgraded to another room, at a higher floor. It would be nice if they had a restaurant area. The second room we had, was not very clean. The sofa on the the kitchen had hair on it, and the coffee table was sticky.
