This property was absolutely amazing!!! In the best location right near the Notre-Dame, passing it each morning on my coffee runs. The property itself has such a beautiful vibe, very quaint and quirky with that stunning Parisian feel to it. Massive shout out to Meriem who was absolutely fantastic. We were visiting Paris for our honeymoon and our stay at Hotel des Deux-Iles was made by her for us!! We received an upgrade, as well as her just being so kind, generous and extremely helpful, providing us with amazing coffee & pasties recommendations during our stay.

We truely loved the place. The location could not have been better sitting on a little island right in the river Seine. Notre Dame church is next door and the area is absolutely pretty and charming with little shops and restaurants. To us the area is very much the cliche of a chic Paris neighborhood in a very positive sense. We were there in the summer. Spending time at the riverbanks of the Seine means diving into an unforgettable atmosphere. Getting around is easy. The metro and bus connections are fantastic. The hotel staff is very friendly and helpful. The interior is very tasteful.

It is an amazing place, however the rooms are small as space is rare on the island. Any traveller that doesn’t mind will be more than rewarded with this place.

Wonderful central, yet quiet location, within walking distance to quais and bridges to look out over in the evenings, including the bridge between Ile St. Louis and Notre Dame, which always has someone playing music. Nearby restaurants, shops, a metro stop, and, most importantly, Berthillon ice cream, plus a charming room with an attentive and welcoming staff make this an ideal hotel. Enjoy a walk around Ile St. Louis to find all the plaques describing the various residents who inhabited the different homes over the last few hundred years on what was once an island inhabited by cows where at least one royal member reportedly escaped to for peace. The choice is yours. You could navigate busy traffic to a large impersonal hotel room OR spend that time kissing your significant other while watching the sunset over a bridge on the Seine listening to music and talking into the night, then walk a block back to your adorable room and bed.

The hotel, a lovely 17th Century building on the Main Street on the Isle St Louis, was beautifully appointed and a real pleasure to stay in. The location was great. The room,as is normal in Paris ,although small, had everything one would need. And the beds were really comfortable. The reception and lounge were wonderful, beautifully decorated and comfortable to sit in. A real bonus was the tea/coffee and cake provided in the afternoon. Breakfast in the vaulted basement was prepared individually…no impersonal buffet here! It felt like home. Finally, and importantly, all the staff without exception were totally lovely. We were welcomed and so well treated by everyone. My sister and I will definitely be returning.

Absolutely nothing to dislike.

Fantastically quaint and lovely property. Just what we wanted for a few days in Paris. The room was very tidy and they had all the amenities. The towels are large size which is a bonus. The breakfast area is wonderful in brick and located downstairs. All members of the staff were very friendly and more than helpful. Alexandra took her time to map out where we needed to be for tours. She was able to answer any and all questions. It is located very close to Notre Dame surrounded by many shops and cafes. The breakfast offered is well worth the price. This property was definitely a gem.

We absolutely loved our time at Hôtel des Deux Îles. The location is unbeatable – right in the heart of Île Saint-Louis, just a short walk from Notre-Dame and the Seine, yet peaceful and full of charm. The room was beautifully decorated, spotlessly clean, and incredibly cozy. The service was outstanding – the staff were warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. They went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed, from helpful tips about the city to assisting with all we needed. This hotel captures the spirit of Paris perfectly. We can’t recommend it highly enough and will definitely return on our next visit!

Location is amazing, you can easily walk anywhere in Paris. All staff were really welcoming and helpful, room was nicely decorated and the small touches were high quality - nice towels, great toiletries. Downstairs room comes with a little private courtyard which will be lovely in the evenings when the weather is better. Cot was provided by the hotel for my baby and he got lots of waves and smiles from the staff

Tiny niggle was that the overall room size was quite a lot of bathroom and not a lot of bedroom (although having a bath was lovely!) we had our baby with us so the cot basically took up any manoeuvre-able space. This is typical of old Paris buildings and I should have been more careful and chosen a bigger room when I also needed cot space. Staff offered to keep our luggage, buggy etc stored for us

We particularly appreciated the quietness of the room on an inner courtyard; the comfortable beds & pillows; the clean bathroom & good shower; the generous towels & the soap, shampoo & body cream in large dispenser; also the presence of filtered water, a kettle & proper sized mugs for tea! Staff were very friendly & helpful. The front entry lobby / lounge was a welcoming spot to sit & complementary tea/coffee/biscuits or cake added to the pleasant atmosphere. The location is our preferred place in Paris, walkable and close to public transport.

I had an exceptional stay at Hotel des Deux Îles that exceeded all my expectations. After being unfairly profiled by a Challes de Gaul airport border control officer, I was greeted by Alexandra at reception, with genuine and comforting warmth. Her insightful and friendly assistance truly made our experience at the hotel unforgettable. Her thoughtful service encapsulates the outstanding service provided by the entire team, from the cleaning staff to the breakfast crew. We left feeling not just well taken care of, but genuinely valued and protected as a guest. I wholeheartedly recommend this hotel to anyone seeking a memorable and delightful stay in Paris, and I look forward to my next visit.

Nothing to complain

Enjoyed our stay at this beautiful cozy comfortable hotel. The location was perfect for what we were looking for, it was a great neighborhood that felt like we were with the locals. The shops were perfect for shopping and meals. The staff, which included Estelle and Nacho were exceptional, helping us with restaurant recommendations and all our other needs. They were professional and informative. The Metro was close by. Enjoyed afternoon tea and coffee in the lobby with delicious fresh baked goods from their chef. We will return next time we are in Paris and will recommend this hotel to our friends and family.
