The hotel is beautiful, cosy, beautifully decorated. It has charm. The room is spacious and practical, the bed comfortable. It is very quiet so you can have a nice sleep. It is located in the very nice neigbourhood. We really loved it. There are restaurants nearby, some cool bars as well. It is modern and very lively part, good vibe! There is also a shopping centre opposite the hotel. The bus station is 3 minutes on foot. So we visited Colmar by bus and it was super easy. I highly recommend staying in Aloft hotel. We had a wonderful time and were so happy that we booked the room there.

I personally don't like when windows cannot open and to be all the time under airconditioning. I knew it when I reserved it so it is not a big deal but it is the only bad side. I understand modern hotels are frequently built that way, but that is the only thing I did

We exceptionally appreciated the location, like 10min walking distance from the old town. There is a shopping mall just near by and in general the district is nice and hipstery. We liked as well the design of the hotel: with humour, very modern, light.

Two things: the smell in the rooms (we were travelling with family and had 2 separate rooms but with the exact same issue). Although the hotel is brand new, the smell in the rooms was just horrific.... Second thing: the breakfast was a disaster....For this level of the hotel, it was below expectations... tiny area, food disappeared around 9h already and was never renewed. No traces of fruits or fresh veggies. Dirty utensils...In the sitting area there were only 2 separate tables plus one big table with 12 seats, where you're supposed to sit awkwardly with people you don't know and watch them eating breakfast....Overall,very very sad for such a big and pretentious hotel. I did not see a smile on the faces of other hotel guests.

We stayed on the 7th floor, and the view was very nice — the room had huge windows all around to enjoy it. The city centre is just a 7-minute walk away. Although there is only a bar in the hotel, there are a few restaurants next door and also in the shopping centre across the street. The rooms are clean, the staff is nice, and the breakfast is okay.

We had problems with the key card to open our room — it didn’t work, and we had to wait two hours for a technician to arrive. Note to the manager: keep the necessary tool to open the doors at the hotel and train the staff to use it :D That said, we received free breakfast the next day, so they handled the situation well. Also, there’s a small play corner next to the reception where our child could play during those two hours — definitely a plus for that too.

The hotel is in walking distance to the town center. Less than 10 minutes walk to where the historical city center starts and 15 minutes to the Notre Dame. I was skeptical, initially, because the hotel is not exactly in the city center. However, having stayed in Strasbourg for 4 nights, I can confirm that the area around the hotel is very quiet. If you don't like the hassle or large crowds, I recommend this hotel over those in the city center. I had a short list of hotels, the others being right in the center of town; I passed by them during my visits and I congratulate myself not booking dead-central hotels, as the town gets extremely crowded, especially during the weekends. This hotel is right near the edge of the old town, in a quiet area. The hotel is also in a large intersection, near a shopping mall, and is safe to walk back at night. You are in walking distance from the center, so if you don't mind a 10 minute walk, I recommend this hotel. The room is very clean and quiet. The design of the room is modern. High windows overviewing the park. I don't remember them having a fridge, but I personally didn't need one. The hotel is near the tram station, so you can get to anywhere in Strasbourg or in the vicinity of the city. It's 2-3 minutes walking distance to the tram station. All in all, I can definitely say my expectations were exceeded. I also take into factor the price per night. I think the quality of the room exceeds the price point. I also visited Switzerland in my trip, and was highly disappointed by the conditions of the booking in Switzerland, compared to this hotel.

For some reason, they were unable to accept payment by card, which is very strange, as I paid with Revolut from Africa all the way to Japan and never had an issue. I paid by cash, and the person that took my money didn't give me any proof of payment. When I finished my stay, the personnel told me to pay, and I had already paid. It was awkward. They could not find my payment registered in their system and the manager had to watch camera footage, to verify my payment. He did return, confirming he saw the transaction on camera and apologised. I guess this is a lesson for me, as well, but this never happened to me anywhere in the world. So don't be like me and ask for proof of payment. This is the reason I gave it a 9.

Best location, walkable to all the landmarks, no need to take any transportation, 3 mins walk from flixbus station, there is a very nice mall on front of the hotel. The staff were super friendly, we arrived very early at 4:30 am, they welcomed us and they were very nice and did their best to have our room the earliest. The rooms are super clean with perfect view and super relaxing, having all the needed facilities even if speakers and coffee machine. They have safe lockers for keeping our luggage.

Nothing everything was perfect and exeptional

Location was great- about a 10-15 min taxi from the Central Train station (or a 30 min walk- which is great on a warm day), a 5 min walk from the bus station and right next to a very nice mall. We were very pleased with the check in process- the front desk person printed directions for travel to our event. Room was nice, and comfy beds. At check out, the staff gave a heads up that the roads would be closed, and he helped us direct our uber to a great pick up spot. Breakfast was great, loved that the children (under a certain age) are included in the price if the adults pay for the buffet. Cool bar area downstairs.

The bed was incredibly comfortable, ensuring I was well-rested for the following day. The location is another highlight. It’s conveniently situated, with easy access to the city center and public transportation, which made commuting to meetings effortless. Despite being centrally located, the hotel was quiet, offering a peaceful retreat after a busy day. Breakfast was a delight, offering a variety of fresh options to suit different tastes. Overall, Aloft Etoile Strasbourg provided the perfect mix of functionality and comfort, making it an ideal choice for business travelers. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again or recommend it to colleagues visiting Strasbourg!

Location & spacious room : You could get to the main centre by 15-20 min walk & tram station was couple of minutes walk hence easy to get from Gare Central too. The rooms were spacious and well lit up with big windows. The shower & toilets too were spacious.The front office staff were helpful and informative.There is a hyper market just few steps away for essentials.

The dining menu was limited. They don’t have disposable slippers since it is an eco friendly hotel. The external surface of the windows were muddy. Our TV in the room did not function.

Super spacious, great amenities and amazing view from my room!! Very friendly reception in the morning (I forgot his name, THANK YOU so much !)), location is just few stations away from the central station and perfect for sightseeing by feet or by tram to the gorgeous Straßbourg old town! Highly recomended!

Small Breakfast buffet in an overcrowded tiny space which is just beside the reception area. Buffet should be relocated to the bar section with wider room, avoiding long walk to fetch food! Once I stood up to grab more coffee and got back, my table has been cleaned up with some food I wanna stil consume. What a waste!

We really enjoyed our stay at Aloft. It is very close to the centre of Strasbourg - about 15 minutes walk. The staff were friendly and helpful. The room was spotlessly clean. The bed was huge - if a little hard for me. I loved the shower - great pressure and nice wash products. We were on the 6th floor so we had great views of the city. We did not have breakfast so cannot comment. But there is a huge shopping centre opposite the hotel with sufficient breakfast options and a large supermarket.

The weather was very hot during our stay. I found that the air conditioning in our room was not sufficient. It was good in other areas of the hotel but I would have liked our room to be colder. It meant we didn’t sleep so well. However, I am sure that on cooler days it would not be a problem.
