It was a vibey hotel in a great location. The staff were super friendly and there was a gym (big bonus). We were lucky enough that there was a car spot cancellation and got to use a car space there. We didn’t eat at the hotel, but the restaurant and bar did look nice. There were 3 of us girls sharing a 2 bedroom room and there was plenty of space. The bathroom was also a great size (although, the hair dryer was broken).

The lighting and heating. Where the main mirror is there was a real lack of lighting to be able to get ready with. The room also wouldn’t get cool (we tried the air conditioner both ways, but opening the door was the only way to cool it down).

The stuff was so nice and they really went. The extra step wanted a room with a little bit of a few. I’m not looking to the backside so they did help us change it. It’s a very stylish decor. The little restaurant downstairs is nice and overall a really friendly and a good vibe.

We booked a deluxe room to have a bit more room size and to treat ourselves a bit. However our room was facing the side street, 1st floor and it was very, very noisy. The cars constantly driving by, people going out and making noise. It was very difficult to get sleep. I ended up getting earplugs from the reception but altogether I think we didn’t sleep more than three hours. So if you stay at this hotel and you are a bit noise sensitive, make sure you don’t get a room facing the side street.

A lovely hotel and very central to all the areas of interest in a nice street. Great that you could open the windows and let the sun shine into the room. Very comfortable beds.

I thing for 20 euros the breakfast could have been better with more hot options. The scrambled eggs were disappointing as they were just left in a saucepan and looked very dry, fried eggs are always a good option. I also thought the staff were not very knowledgeable when approaching them with questions. We asked one lady when we departed how often the trains ran from Strasbourg to the airport and she told me that there was a rail strike that day. We found out later that the airport shuttle trains were running as normal after we had paid for a taxi.

The best things about Boma are the unique, African-inspired design and the location directly in the heart of the city. Rooms are big enough for 2, with a cozy and warm atmosphere due to a nice color concept and use of different fabrics. You have a water kettle and different kinds of tea to serve yourself and you can drink soft drinks from the fridge for free - I really love such details. Also, you can use lockers for the luggage if you want to leave them while waiting for your trip. Once you leave the hotel, you are directly in pedestrian zone and can reach the most important sights in less than 15 minutes. In the same street are nice restaurants, coffee shops, a bakery and shops. So everything perfect!

The location is quite central. The hotel is modern, colorful and comfortable, despite the rooms are quite small. The rooms at higher floors are quiet.

The staff was not the best. Not giving any information if not explicitly asked, seldom greeting or smiling when guests passed by. The other guest in the other room I booked reported that the level of cleaning in their room was not great. The breakfast was ok, but a little bit unorganized, with many things missing all the time.

Convenient location, walking distance from main station. Good WiFi allowed us to stay in contact. Friendly staff. Our room overlooked other buildings, so there was no view to speak of. However, this resulted in a very quiet environment at night, so we slept well.

Lighting in the room was not very bright, but this is just a minor inconvenience.

The location of the hotel is very good, in the city center, about 10 minutes walk from the train station. The room was clean, the staff was friendly, the breakfast was good, with smoked salmon, goat chees, boiled and scrambled eggs, mushrooms, sausages, baked tomatoes, bacon's, and lots of jams, nuts and traditional sweets.

Although there was a good breakfast, I missed vegetables and good coffee in the breakfast menu. There was a coffee machine, but the coffee wasn"t good, it could have been better.

Loved the staff, cleanliness, the room, the beds and the shower. All great. Good breakfast. Great location.

No parking available onsite - the parking was already booked up and b/c of the Christmas market season, nearby parking was difficult. One of our party had an injured knee, so it made logistics difficult. The only other thing I didn't like is that there was no lobby for the use of guests - no place to have a picnic or share take away food - just the downstairs restaurant.

Excellent hotel! Couldn’t ask for much more Really good location Room was a very good size, with modern and warm decor, and nice lighting Good room temp and easy to change this Clean Free minibar Nice bar downstairs I would stay here again without question

I had an email from the hotel prior to checking in to ask if I wanted recommendations for places to eat - half of the places they suggested are permanently closed Staff not as enthusiastic as I’d hoped to provide recommendations etc

It is a very, very nice, clean, and at really great location hotel. Ticks all the boxes for 4-star place. My room was at the back, not the greatest view in the world but absolutely quiet. Walking distance from train station and even closer to Petite France and other attraction in the old town. Attentive and helpful staff. Efficient check-in and check-out. Quality stay. Will return.

My stay was just 2 nights so maybe a bit too short to notice anything. One issue, providing you're on business trip, is the size of the desk and place to work for anything longer than 30 mins.
