Everything. The restaurant food was amazing. Great breakfast, comfy room, great location for us ( we wanted to stay close to town but wanted a more rural feel). Everything was easy. Staff very accommodating and friendly. Don't miss the walk to the waterfall, easy walk, mostly flat. Best time imo is before breakfast, saw quite a few different birds, and the tranquility was amazing 😍 More thoughts: -room was bigger than most places we've stayed at - family-run, they really care and remember who you are, feel like a special guest rather than just another customer, but still maintain professionalism. - better stay than any Raddison or Hilton imo. - backyard area was nice.

Not being able to stay longer and having to check out and go home.... If I really want to try to find any faults, just that it would be good if: -The room had better block-out light curtains or something (we slept ok however so its not too bad at all) -perhaps a coffee or tea station in the room. There was a little alcove room that seemed to have tea/coffee but I couldn't figure out how to use the machine (and didn't ask). Otherwise everything else was great. Really appreciated the free water for the room each night. But honestly this is one of the better hotels we've stayed at in a long time, will be recommending and will look to come back if we're ever back there.

I was very late arriving and the host was still there to hand over my key and offer me a drink from the bar - exceptional service, couldn't ask for more. Comfortable beds, spotlessly clean bathroom, good selection at the continental breakfast and easy parking. It's also in a beautiful part of town, so quiet and scenic. We had a family room and it actually had four beds, so everyone was happy.

The pillow was a little small and only one each - I didn't ask for more and doubtless I'd have been provided with one, but spares in the room would make it easier.

Great location for the Black Forest. Lovely traditional hotel, nice clean spacious room which was well presented with fresh decor and furniture. We had an evening meal outside in the garden from the restaurant which was perfect after a long drive, excellent food too. Breakfast the next morning was also great with plenty of choice.

The bathroom was a little small and difficult to use. It was however very clean, well decorated and fitted, and manageable for the one night that we were there.

It was clean, quite, comfy bed, and upscale. The breakfast was gourmet with tons of options. We had dinner there and it was a great value, unbelievably beautiful restaurant with exceptional food. Kim was friendly, wonderful and catered to all our our needs and more!

That we couldn’t stay longer.

Wonderful place, the room was spacious and clean, and they even provided a crib for our child. The check-in process was extremely easy and breakfast was delicious. We had a lovely conversation with the older lady who wore glasses working in the restaurant and she greeted us warmly. Although, we didn't eat other meals at the restaurant we wish we did cause the smells coming from it made our mouth water. We would definitely stay again.

Literally everything! Simply fantastic staff, who really cared. From reception to waiting staff and everyone else in between. The room was spacious and nicely decorated, with attention to detail. Great bed. The beer garden and food was extraordinary, as were the attention from the waiting staff. Beautiful views as well, Breakfast was really nice with a lot of choice. If you are speding time in the Black Forest region, this should be your one and only stop for accommodation. We cannot recommend this enough! We will be back shortly.

We stopped for a night on our way to the south of the black forest, arrived late and the hosts were so kind and welcoming. The next day we had issues with the car we rented and Kim the owner went out of her way to help us. The place is so cozy, clean and has a great breakfast. Highly recommended!

In the restaurant the owner, Kim Schindler, was busy and yet took the time to stand by our table and translate the menu and describe the entrees. She made us feel SO valued as guests. She had a most delightful personality. Landgasthof Hirsch was attractive, well maintained, clean, and in so many ways reflected the pride Kim has in her family business! The dinner and breakfast were fantastic.

I only stayed one night. I wish I had stayed longer.

The staff was very polite, the room was very clean, the hotel offered free parking, the breakfast had good variety.

The bathroom was really small and inconvenient. The hotel is not located walking distance from any interest point.

The room is super nice, comfortable and clean. Very spacious. The hotel decor is really nice. Parking available with the accomodation if you are with a car. 10 minutes away from Baden Baden city center. Breakfast was amazing, the restaurant really nice and the variety offered during breakfast and setup was exceptional. The stuff is really welcoming and they speak English. We did self check in but everything was very well explained.
