I really like this hostel... a little home away from home! I've been staying at this place throughout the years and it gets better and better... some newer updates, like the electrical sockets for each bed, the artwork throughout the building and the ambiance. It's a nice location and looking forward to returning!

The only thing I don't like is that the locker was right next to my head. When closing the locker, the magnified clasping mechanism, slams shut the door onto the structure, which amplifies into my head. Was the last bed left... But these lockers are very well designed and are cool overall. There really isn'T anything for me to not like, but that was the only thing that stuck out....

The staff is very friendly and helpful, the place has a nice atmosphere, it's easy to find in the street, the location is quite nice too. I was travelling alone as a woman, and didn't feel much danger. The street is a bit empty in the evening, but overall, no weird people or places where you can feel uncomfortable. It was nice that I could use the kettle in the lobby, there's also tea/coffee/breakfast available.

It was not the cleanest place, found a few hairs on the floor here and there. Also, the mattress is very loud for some reason. It was difficult to sleep because you can hear everything in the hallway and someone kept walking in and out of the hallway and banging the door loudly, also people were talking in the hallway at 2 am. Not the hotel's fault, but i recommend earplugs for this stay, I put mine on and slept til the morning comfortably.

Staff where great and very helpful. Great location, right next to berghain, really close to the train station, shopping mall and the east side gallery. Mostly good people, if you are traveling especially solo and want to meet people and make friends that are also traveling this is a great place for that but don’t get the 10 bed dorm because not many people get that room. If you want to meet other nice traveler’s get the smaller rooms like the 6 or 8 bed.

The floors are very loud and creaky on the upper levels and some of the beds are quite squeaky

Not much to not like... could really nitpick, but only that the locker was right next to my bed and head.... but these lockers are very cool and fit big bags, so hopefully no one uses them, while sleeping! :D

The location was great. About an 8 minute walk to the train and really close to great clubs and restaurants. Clean and fairly comfortable

The check in was slow and the need for cash for the locker was annoying. Especially when reception didn't have change for notes. The curtain in the room just need replacing. The current one isn't fit for purpose. You need to get a black out blind or curtain for this room as soon as possible.

The hostel is very friendly, the staff always present and responsible. I took 8 beds room, made many friends on it and changed my experience in Berlin. For me, the breakfast is a little bit expensive but it was really good, with many options (loved their croissant)

The safesties lockers are at groundfloor so sometimes you need get downstair to manage your stuffs, they have lockers on each room but I didn't find it too much safe, so part of my stuffs were at both lockers.

Great atmosphere and decoration in the hostel. Staff friendly and knowledgeable. Breakfast was good though not huge variety. Most other guests were not too noisy, though the hostel attracts a young crowd who like to party, so there is inevitably some noise. Beds are well made and don't shake when climbing the bunks. Agility needed to reach top bunk! Location is superb, nightlife areas are within walking distance and local s-bahn/u-bahn stations a short walk away. Not too close to bars and clubs for noise. Bar downstairs is 24hr so very convenient if you're going out at night.

Bed was quite uncomfortable, very thin mattress with sharp springs digging into me. Some guests not very respectful of making noise at night, but this isn't really hostels fault. Lockers in room not possible to lock (handle turns even with padlock attached). No air-con (though this is fairly normal in Germany I find)

I stayed in a three bed room, so I can't speak fore the larger rooms, but I am very happy with my stay. It was Clean, it's super close to lots clubs, and if your in Berlin to try the legendary Nigh-life it's perfect. The bar was a great place to start you night, But it was still quiet in my room. (City quite, be realistic)

The staff got a little bit overwhelmed at the bar, so there was a bit of a line, but really only points to the fact that there was a lot of people enjoying the bar.

Wonderful people at the reception ! Our private room was perfect, sheets were super clean, mattresses very comfy, the pillows were a bit soft but that's just our preference. We would have appreciate some drawers to put our clothes in. Very well located in the city.

The shower next to our room was missing the head part but we just went to other one next to the kitchen. As the walls are thin, it would have been nice for other guests to make less noise when they return early in the morning. A simple sign on the doors would have been useful to remind them of this.

The place is very cozy and cute, has nice aesthetics and is clean. One of the most affordable hostels in Berlin and the best in the area, also no other added costs for using equipment except a deposit. Has a cool bar area and every small section of rooms have their own kitchen.

The internet doesn't quite reach every room and doesn't work so well. The reception area is prone to be very overcrowded.
