Everything It was the cleanest place we have stayed in I would give that alone a 10, well designed room/apartment with all we needed for our 6 nights, fridge, microwave, cups, plates, bowls and cutlery A good little shopping area close by and couple of good restaurants, we tried burger legends and a chinese near the station, both good It's easy to get right into the City centre via the underground just a 15 minute walk to station, and there is one every 10 minutes Staff were wonderful, nothing was too much trouble Breakfast was, in fact, an excellent buffet, and they also served lunch, although you can have food in your apartment if you prefer There is a bar and a nice sitting area to mingle It was also very quiet and peaceful. Ease of booking and payment and friendly staff. Super clean lobby, rooms, breakfast area. Bed was very comfortable. Accommodation was well connected to public transport. So it was easy to commute.

I have been staying at SYLC also earlier. I would like to stay regularly and for longer periods of time. So ideally a system where loyalty is rewarded and rates are more reduced as stay get longer would be appreciated.

The staff are very friendly, the environment was very neat and comfortable, the food was nice and the location is perfect.

The room was clean, the environment was ok. However, the cleaning of the room was my concern, for the 19 days that I stayed, my room was cleaned only twice. This was so unfortunate. I was given one towel for the period until the room was cleaned, meaning I used each towel for over for 6 days, and the same for the toilet rolls.

Staff is very friendly and professional. Getting a charging cable or umbrella at the front desk was no problem. The rooms are modern and clean.

The location is a bit out. With a bus that goes about every 10min one can reach the subway system though. The mediocre location is also reflected in the price which is good. Also, the couch-bed is not super comfortable if it is needed. it is quite narrow (for two) and the cushioning is very thin. The actual bed is great though.

Breakfast: it was amazing..i paid 16euro and there was variety of choices....i love that it was not overcrowded, it was just perfect. Cleaning: Cleaning is done once a week and they really clean well Location: We have a little mall about 10mins walk away, and there is constant access to buses like bus 4, 183, 115, etc Rooftop Gym: Just wow!

I cannot say. Its hard to say because i love everything...Maybe English-speaking tv channel but then again i came with my mini mac, so i was able to watch anything. Everything is so good. I honestly do not know what to say and i stayed here for 2months. I just love

The hotel is very modern and well-located, making it easy to get around. The reception staff were super friendly and welcoming, which was a nice touch. The bathroom was fantastic – very spacious with a great shower. Also, having a supermarket nearby was really convenient.

Unfortunately, the room itself was really small. The bed wasn’t ideal for two people (TOO SMALL) – hard to get a good night’s sleep.

The room was very clean and equipped with a refrigerator, a microwave and all the kitchenware I needed to prepare and consume my food, when not eating out. I especially liked the property's ample multi-level garage which for a modest 10€/day fee solves the otherwise difficult problem of finding an inexpensive parking spot in Hamburg. Everything went smoothly.

I discovered the hard way there's no air conditioning in the rooms - you are well prepared to stand the cold nights with the heavy blankets provided, but I visited when there were over 30°C in town and couldn't sleep well at night. Moreover, I was glad I booked my room over 3 months in advance, because the already not inexpensive daily rate was more than doubled a few weeks later - I believe that over 200€/night are too much even for such a nice property.

Breakfast was good, enough options for all taste. Good location if you are using to travel the city by bus. Room was clean. Quiet place. Good curtains.

There was 2 coffee pods for three people staying in the room for two days.. Bedding sheets were not clean. There were various specs/ dirt stains and other people’s hairs. There is no A/C in the room.

The staff were friendly amd supportive as usual, perfect location and friendly environment.

i have always held SYLC as the top staying location in hamburg, but this visit was the worst, I saw cocroches in the room on two occasions in my room. and the breakfast was same for the 10days we stayed.

Breakfast was very good. The staff went beyond expectations to accommodate our family for a special birthday breakfast. Room had everything we needed, especially the fridge with freezer compartment. The lobby was a wonderful place to meet and greet people. The bar tender was super nice and took good care of us. If you had any questions, the front desk would pay immediate attention to help you.

Actually, I don't have any complaints. This should mean a lot, because I would say if I did not like something.
