The location is quite great. It's close to the Zoo and you can also take a stroll along the Rhine. It's a quiet area and easy to reach by foot or even by tram, from the Cologne Dome.

I would have like to have at least a couple of beverages from the mini-bar included in the price per night, other than that I cannot say I did not like the place or the amenities provided!

Very clean, quiet hotel with old-fashioned charm, 20 min walk along the Rhine to the centre or a 2-stop trip on U-Bahn. The room had an air-conditioning device, which helped as it was hot in Cologne. Great buffet breakfast - sweet and savoury, lots of fruit, fresh bread, eggs, meat etc. Staff were kind and discreet.

Excellent location next to the rhine . Quiet neighbourhood but within walking distance to the old town. Room was excellent hotel was spotlessly clean and staff were exceptionally helpful.

Perfect breakfast! Very helpful staff! 24-hour reception service! Plenty of parking available near the hotel at an affordable price.

No place to enjoy a coffee with a croissant during the day, either in or around the hotel.

This historical building, located in a lovely residential neighborhood, has a very special atmosphere. There are several great restaurants, an underground station and the Rhein walkway nearby.

The bread.

The hotel is very comfortable and well equipped. The front office staff were very helpful. The room was very quiet. The breakfast was excellent.

The hotel is a little way from the railway station and the central city area although it is accessible from the local underground and by walking along the river walkway.

It is located around 20 minutes from the city centre but if you walk along the river it feels shorter and with great view. it is located in a quiet area. Although it has not the most modern facilites, the building and rooms have style -their own- which gives it character. The breakfast is a buffet with cold and hot options, it is good and more than enough to start the day. Hair dryer and makeup mirror in the bathroom.

There was a ventilator over the table, so we could not move it around because the cable was short. air conditioning may be the solution or not -environment concerns- but at least a longer cable will help.

Located on a very quiet street, 20-ish minute walk from the central train station. Very good if you’re looking for restful sleep after a day spent exploring. A very “classic” hotel experience, the way it used to be. Rooms are locked with keys that can be left at the reception, rather than the key cards you find in almost any hotel now. Staff were very friendly and accommodating, and the interior is beautiful.

Would love to find soy milk or yoghurt at breakfast at my next stay, but that’s about all the criticism I have.

Very nice, large, comfortable room hotel in a very nice area. I paid about $120/night in June, 2023. A 15/20 minute nice walk along the river to the train station and the cathedral. Very good staff at the hotel. Nice breakfast.

We asked for a twin room and on arrival was allocated a double, although there was rectified very quickly.
