Hotel has really good location just next to the central station. Overall hotel is good and nice. We didn't take breakfast (as we eat gluten free , I was not sure we can find a suitable menu for us) so i can't rate the food. Our room was big and comfortable for 4 of us. The bath tube in the room was big + .

There was no kettle in the room . This was a bit disappointing. For a price like this having no tea or coffee option in the room is strange. There is a pool in the hotel which is big + but the pool water was cold for me . I couldn't swim . I think having a small pool for guests for relaxing needs to be warmer . Cz it is not a sport pool.

The hotel is next to the station, which is good per se , but it must be said that the area around the station in Munich is appaling and can't be recommended for single female travellers

Great Maritim breakfast

Location was rather dodgy. Staff were unhelpful at first re our need for a gluten free breakfast but they improved after we complained that we had given them notice of this and that they had confirmed they could provide gluten free breakfast

Location is great. Sure, close to the main station is not the most salubrious part of town, but!!! But you can walk almost everywhere and the access to public transport from Karlsplatz is just fabulous.

No tea making facilities in the room! No water kettle. They have a waiting list for electric kettles, but none showed up in our room. In the end I bought one myself and at check-out donated it to the poor, poor hotel that cannot provide its guests from the British Isles with the life-saving tea making facilities. Really shitty service. The house was full of guests from Australia, UK, Ireland who all love their tea and are used to hotels with kettles and mugs etc....

Family of 5 so family room with adjoining door was perfect 1940’s vibe deco hotel which was quite nice . Very clean considering it was older style When we arrived piano playing in piano bar . Warm feel in winter . Well priced for Munich hotels considering how good the location was Breakfast was great with a large range to choose from . Location was excellent . We walked into the city most days I had read reviews that it was a dodgy end of town however I found it being inner city you may always get a couple of homeless people about so it wasn’t that bad , also it’s round corner from the Sofitel which is very very expensive so location was good .

Might be better if they didn’t charge 5 euros to use the gym and just include in the price

Location was perfect. The hotel itself was in a quiet location eventhough at the main street. Very close to Munich Main station. Plenty of options for food in the area. Munchner Stubn restaurant around the corner from the hotel was very good. Receptionist was very helpful to help me find a doctor. I had a fall and sprained my ankle the day before in Zurich. Couldn't get an appointment in Zurich. Receptionist (I didn't catch his name unfortunately) said that the same issue with Munich for new appointment with local GP would take weeks. He recommended for me to go to the night clinic. I was able to see the doctor and got the treatment I needed. Bed was comfy. Room was comfy and has plenty of space and storage. Nice bar.

Shower was modern using a smart button. I was having difficulty adjusting the water temperature when the button was wet. My room has a small window in the corner the rest was wall covered by curtain.

A Great Stay at the Maritim Hotel We had an excellent experience at the Maritim Hotel München. The location is absolutely fantastic, just a very short walk from Munich's main train station. It's also right in the heart of the city, surrounded by plenty of restaurants and shops, which made exploring the area incredibly easy. The swimming pool was a real highlight; it's a great addition that made our stay even more enjoyable. A special mention must go to the staff member Layla, who we met at both the restaurant and the reception. Her service was outstanding and she left us with a wonderfully positive impression of the hotel. We were also impressed by the soundproofing. We heard no noise at all from the neighbouring rooms, ensuring a very peaceful and quiet stay.

Room was spacious for triple stay accomodation. Nice and clean

Neighbourhood (strip bar next door) felt a bit unsafe at times.

Good location when arriving by plane (taking the S Bahn from the airport to Hauptbahnof main station) or by train. Also a good base to travel around Munich by public transport. The hotel has a swimming pool with a view but alas the water was rather cold so it was just a quick dip

Despite the high room price they asked 2€ for storing luggage for a couple of hours. Also for using the gym as well as for the sauna they asked an additional 5€. Breakfast was quite extensive with a lot of tasty options but the fruit salad was rather cheapish with a lot of apple and hardly any pineapple, orange or grapes

Clean, comfortable, very good breakfast. There were good restaurants around. Pool was quiet. Direct access from car park to the hotel, close to a railway station.

Seemed to be in a bit of a rough area, the road the hotel is on is currently one way (Google Maps didn’t seem to know this), the car park is not obvious (at least in a right hand drive car - from the forecourt go through a passage to the left of the hotel and do an immediate U-turn to the left - in fairness it is obvious when you know), my wife felt the staff could have helped her with the bags rather than just watching (we had unloaded some cases while I parked the car).
