The room was very clean and spacious and we found everything we needed to make iced coffee, eat there, strike our dresses etc.. Complementary water, vitamins juices and even a nice Cretan wine! All super well organised in the room but also a lot of tips and websites provided on how to travel in the area of Chania, discover oil tours and wineries. Perfect!! The location seems out of the main area at first, but item’s actually my out of the touristic area and instead very well placed towards a little beach and near the marina, where more locals go. Fantastic local market in the street on Saturday to buy traditional gifts before leaving!!

No lift, so be prepared for a little climb ..

Great location right on the edge of Old Town and next to the beach area Koum Kapi. After a long day of travel, it was really a welcome respite from the journey. The bed was extremely comfortable and the room was clean and had lots of lovely amenities, including a kitchenette. Very nice proprietor that greeted us the next morning and showed us maps and gave us information about our stay in Crete.

Self check in was a bit of challenge but okay. Street parking was difficult but we finally found a space and the bathroom lacked a bit of privacy as it was all open air with just doors dividing the shower and toilet space, which meant you could hear everything.

Very good and central location! During our 10nights stay we got to experience 2 different rooms thanks to a partial upgrade. First room (studio with balcony) was newly renovated and very spacious. A few good kitchen amenities (coffmaker, toast, fridge and freezer) along with a balcony to the street. Toilet area slightly awkwardly renovated into the hallway. Second room (maisonette) was slightly more cozy in layout but not as practical as the suite. Very nice and fresh feeling from both rooms. Housekeeping was amazing: very friendly and you got the feeling they really cared about our stay. Our rooms were cleaned every day to utmost perfection. Manolis was also so kind and helped us throughout the week. The first night our AC was broken but he made sure it was fixed early next day. Although shorter reception times, he replied to our e-mails promply and was available for our enquiries. Location was amazing, close to the harbour and old town, along with busstations etc. On saturdays there is a street market on the hotel street which was very lovely to experience. We even got fresh fruit sent up to our room! I highly recommend this hotel for those who prefer a more local and personalized touch, instead of a larger hotel complex. Thank you so much for a lovely stay!

Could recommend ”key boxes” to ensure an even safer check-in, which could also be used for safe keeping when leaving the hotel.

The property is clean and very functional. Equipped with all the necessities and our room ( the top suite ) had a fantastic balcony with an almost perfect view of the water. The location is amazing right next to the harbour with great little restaurants and bars steps away. Perfect.

The only downside we experienced was that there was a lack of parking space around the property. One day we spent literally half an hour driving around looking for parking. For anyone reading, your best bet is to look for the large parking lot on the street adjacent that may have space. One small improvement they could make is with the interior design ( the harsh white lights make the rooms seem a little clinical rather than warm ). This is really no big deal just a small improvement that is pretty easy to rectify

Spacious room with a small but nice east positioned balcony. We booked last minute, and everything exceeded out expectations - there was everything you needed to start a day, and staff was always helpful and available 👌

The room was large and bright. The shower was excellent and powerful. The room was very clean and kept clean during our stay. The host was very helpful, spoke good English and was extremely generous. The hotel is on the edge of the old town with easy access to the harbour and restaurants. The Saturday market was right outside the hotel door and was exciting, vibrant and interesting with lots of fresh fruit and cheese to sample.

The courtyard was very spacious and well equipped however I feel more could have been done with the large white wall to give it more atmosphere like an old door on the wall or more plants. This didn't stop us enjoying our gin and tonics in the evening or breakfast in the mornings.

The room was exactly as described and we quite enjoyed it. It was spacious and had everything we needed, including some very nice additional treats, like fresh fruit. The host and staff were all very kind and helpful. The room was facing a nice, quiet street, very short walk from the Old Town Center. Saturdays are market days, which are also interesting to observe from the balcony =)

The only thing that we didn't enjoy was that the balcony was practically impossible to use during the day with the sun shining on that side of the building. There is absolutely no shade and the balcony furniture and banisters are black, so it gets super hot. A small umbrella there would have probably solved the issue. We did manage to thoroughly enjoy the balcony in the evenings though.

Room itself is great and clean, comfortable bed. I would say the location is located great in between the port and the other side where cafes are and also only like 600m from the city centre with lots of shops. the guy at the front is super nice and helped me wherever he could! The problems I faced were minimal and I would definitely recommend and rebook this place

The dang mosquitos!! I think if they made effort not to leave the door open while cleaning and leaving it open until we come back from our activities there would be less of them. They do provide a little plug in light which supposedly helps to kill them but im not sure how well that works. Also i think they clean the rooms a little too early? I know not everyone sleeps in but some people do so it would be nice if the cleaning was after 12pm

There were supplies for the breakfast, fruits and beverages and yogurts in the fridge. There were 2 small terraces but good for 2 people in my junior maisonnette. Shower was very good, what can be a challenge in Greece in general. There were blinds and curtains to the windows upstairs and downstairs, so I was not woken up my light in the morning. It was less than a 5-minute walk to the Venetian harbor but pretty quiet area. And it was easy to park very closed to the accommodation, I had a very good stay at Notus in Chania.

bathroom a little small. no water in ground floor.

The location which was walking distance to all the places we wanted or needed to go to including the lighthouse, restaurants, shops, bus station, meet-up places for tours and even the Saturday market which was on our street. The manager was very helpful with recommendations of restaurants, bus timetables and essential information. Our apartment was cleaned daily and the cleaner very warm and friendly. We would love to return to this property!

The inconvenience of taking plates/cutlery upstairs to bathroom to rinse after use but the cleaner did also clean them
