Everything exceeded expectations. A superior hotel that deserves a higher rating. I have stayed at 4☆ hotels that were not as good as the Kriti Hotel. Buffet breakfast offers everything you can think of, hot and cold. Staff were amazing, 24 hour desk. Simos, Eleni, Vaggelis, and the others on Reception were the most helpful people. Can help with directions and map, shopping info, excursions, and restaurant recommendations. The cleaning staff were excellent and the hotel is spotless through their relentless efforts. Hello, Liza! Kitchen crew presented perfect deliciously prepared and presented food constantly and daily at breakfast. The room was super comfortable and spacious. Welcome pack includes raki decanter, fresh fruit, nuts, water. Air con and ceiling fan kept the room at a constant bearable temp during 36 degree plus heatwave. Comfortable mattress. Clean and fresh linen, changed daily, if wanted. Room safe. Large TV. Mini bar fridge, stocked with soft drinks. The bathroom, everything is new. Large shower cubicle. Ample space, fresh white towels daily, if needed. Range of free toiletries of high quality from a local company. A very quiet hotel, must be soundproofed. Location is perfect. Close to amenities, but not heavily trafficked. Pool is cleaned fastidiously early every morning by a crew of up to four staff. I would recommend the Kriti to any traveller.

WiFi can be annoyingly slow at times. But, 80% of the time sufficient. Would benefit from a signal boost.

I liked everything. A beautiful hotel in an excellent location. The reception staff were brilliant, very kind and helpful. Great breakfasts and the all day food and beverage service by the beautiful pool area and also at the downstairs lounge was really good. I would stay here again in a heartbeat. I felt totally welcome - pampered, secure and happy!

This hotel is fabulous. The location is amazing, about a 60 second walk to the first of many waterside restaurants yet it was silent at night. The hotel staff were so friendly and were always keen to help. Reception can book taxis and tours for you - we enjoyed the Balos tour and the Tasting Tour and both were exceptional. We had a triple room (one double bed and one single bed) and it was spacious and spotless.

The hotel could do with more sun beds in the pool area. For the size of the hotel, 15 loungers isn’t enough. They have about 10 beanbag chairs but these were not that comfortable and you would not lie flat on these.

It is a lovely hotel. Great location a short walk away from the harbour and away from the hustle and bustle of Chania town. It's very clean and comfortable with aircon and fans in the room, although ours didn't seem to work very well at night time! We had a twin room which was small but fine for one night. No frills but great value. The pool is nice and quiet in the mornings and the breakfast buffet is a good selection and doesn't finish until late morning, which is perfect if you have a late night the day before.

The staff at the Kriti hotel are very accommodating and friendly, they made the holiday so much better and are a great help when it comes to booking transport to and from the airport. They gave me and my partner a free upgrade which was pleasant surprise, the rooms are very spacious and value for money, and they provide snacks in the room and a complimentary bottle of water. The pool is big, and the pool area is very nice place to chill out. The hotel provides a high quality breakfast and also meals throughout the day. The staff around the pool are happy to help, asking if you would like a drink and provide table service. They also provide free towels for the sun loungers. The hotel is very clean. When checking out, they allowed us to leave our bags in storage area so we could spend some last minute time in the sun before we left for our flight. The staff and the hotel was great

The only one thing that I didn’t like was how loud the birds were, but that is no relation to the hotel and is out of their control

I only stayed at the hotel for one night so the fact that my room was small didn't worry me. I had a twin-bedded room and the space around the beds was quite limited. However, the room, bed and bedding, bathroom, shower, towels were all extremely clean. There were tea/coffee and fridge facilities and the TV and wifi all worked well. But the biggest surprise was the wonderful buffet breakfast served in the morning. There was a plentiful choice of both hot and cold food, fresh fruit, breads, condiments - and the room itself was bright and welcoming. One of the best breakfasts I've been offered for some time! The hotel and breakfast room staff were very friendly and helpful and there is also an area in the lobby where you can have coffees or drinks.' The hotel is about a 15 minute stroll along the seafront to Chania's old town. Along the way you pass numerous cafes and restaurants - plus some original architecture and wonderful views out to sea. Despite the small size of the room, I would definitely recommend this hotel

Wonderful hotel in the Chania. It provides everything I need. The room was clean and modern. Very comfort bed. There were cosmetics in a bathroom (shampoo, shower gel, conditioner for hair, shower gel), hair dryer, enough towels. Also some fruits and snacks were provided, even raki (traditional greek alcohol) for free. Also there were snacks and drinks in a fridge possible to buy. TV and air conditioner in the room. Breakfast was included, it is enough food to chose. There are also a bar in a hotel that open till late evening. Also the swimming pool, that you can use even after check-out. The towels can be borrowed for free on reception.

facility is spotless and the amenities are very good, pool was a welcome sunrise ( much bigger than usual in a location such as this) as it was an excellent size and very well kept. Staff were most helpful and professional. The breakfast buffet was good with a reasonable variety and staff ensured items were well stocked and fresh. Evening bar service was very pleasant and again staff were helpful and very pleasant.

usual juggling for pool lounges, more to do with the terrible manners of people leaving a towel for 5-6 hours ! bar service to pool could benefit from some sort of call system - it was a matter of chance or a walk to attract attention for service but prompt and attentive when achieved

A very nice hotel in great location. We arrived after midnight but there was zero problem for our check in. There was a complimentary drink, raki, with dry nuts waiting us in our room. The room clean and with very relaxing ambience. All the hotel areas were shining of cleanliness. I liked the fact that next to all floors elevators you could find hand sanitizer. The breakfast was very rich and of good quality. There was variety of coffees and fresh orange juice. Next to the breakfast floor elevator where also the pool was, a corner had all necessary things for First Aid in easy access...And at last the most important thing was the politeness of all staff. All in all it is a hotel highly recommend.

We liked everything.

Had an amazing week staying at the Kriti Hotel. The breakfast was delicious every day, was regularly topped up and there was plenty of choice. The pool is a nice size and there are sunbeds all around which we never had a problem getting even when we had a lie in! It’s also in a great location, only about 10 mins walk from the old town, and the staff are lovely. Our room was also cleaned every day and there was always someone at reception if we had any questions.

The only thing I’d have changed would be the size of the room but we paid for the cheapest option so that’s obviously why it was a little smaller - if you want something bigger then pay for it but everything else was superb.
