I liked that this small boutique hotel was in the midst of a residential neighborhood. Georgia at the desk was incredibly helpful. Room comfortable and pretty much everything I wanted to see was within walking distance. Also on Saturday there is a vibrant farmers market a couple of streets away. The hotel is central, but away from the craziness of the small streets behind the Venetian harbor.

It suited me perfectly. But some people might be disappointed at the view from the terrace, basically other buildings in the neighborhood. But plenty of sky and birds overhead.

One of the most wonderful holiday experiences I’ve ever had! My deepest thanks to Nadja and her team for their warm and personal attention to every little detail that made this stay truly unforgettable! A beautiful room, delicious coffee, a charmingly quiet and romantic neighborhood. But above all – human warmth and boundless hospitality! Thanks to Flâneur, I will definitely return to Chania!

We spent 3 days in Flaneur as part of our honeymoon and were very impressed. Flaneur is an excellent hotel and exceeded all our expectations in every way. The location is perfect - close to the waterfront and all the interesting spots in the old city, yet nicely away from the noise and bustle, in a quiet little alley. The room was spacious and very clean. I appreciated the many small details that have also elevated this stay to our best stay in Greece: the spacious shower, great water pressure and shower head, provided beach towels, conveniently placed hairdryer, and even the numerous and well-placed wall pegs for hanging towels - it is obvious that this hotel was designed with love and the guests in mind. The staff was also lovely and so helpful - a special shout out to Georgia who went above and beyond to accommodate our early check in and help us when my husband was not feeling well. Would stay again for sure!

There is really nothing - this was the perfect stay!

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Flâneur, and I can confidently say it was one of the best hotel experiences I’ve ever had. From the moment I arrived, the staff went above and beyond to ensure my stay was perfect. The check-in process was smooth and efficient, and I was warmly greeted with a welcome wine. The room was immaculate, spacious, and beautifully decorated, with every amenity I could possibly need. The bed was incredibly comfortable, ensuring I had a restful night's sleep every night of my stay.

We loved our room - we stayed in the room called Libertin which is on the ground floor of the building / separate entrance. Comfortable bed, modern and clean room,silent a/c working very well (not blowing too much air like some a/c do). The windows are really good and isolated us from the outside noises. They provide Nespresso pods and we got a small bottle of wine on the first day- always welcomed. Great location - in a quiet part of the old town, just beside the Saturday morning market and only a few minutes walk from one of the main squares. Parking can be a little tricky at the weekend -it gets busy!- but we always managed to park for free a few minutes walk from the property - which worked fine for us. We would stay there again if we were ever coming back to Chania. Thank you Lila.

Not something we didn’t like but could be useful for others. If you absolutely want to park near the property, this may not be the best place for you. That said, most of the hotels in the old town are most likely similar except if they have dedicated parking spaces.

Just outside the Venetian Port. You could easily drive up and unload luggage rather than have to haul your luggage over cobbled stones and up stairs. I have stayed in both locations, and this location makes it easy for a taxi drop off or parking. Parking is easy except on Saturdays when there is a giant flea market nearby. The staff is very helpful and accommodating. There is not a full time reception area so you must make advance arrangements if you arrive after hours. There is a lockbox outside the side door (from the alley side), for after hour arrivals. I will definitely make this my home base when in Chania.

The location is prime and here is why; close to Funky's Pizza, nearby Kapi beach, easy walks into old town Chania while still being on the outskirts enough such that you can enjoy a nice quiet relaxing evening watching your favorite shows like you never left your home bedroom.

The room layout is nice, and staff is accommodating. Wish I could have had another room, 2 rooms would have been perfect. So make sure to book well in advance since this is a hidden gem of a stay. 10/10

Amazing stay! It was like a 5 star hotel. Comfy bed, perfect location, and the staff are the friendliest people who go out of their way to make you feel welcome and provide local information. It was my sisters birthday and they put up balloons, flowers and a happy birthday sign. We felt so welcome! I would absolutely stay again and I will be recommending to all my friends.

Our stay at Flaneur was truly exceptional! Huge thank you to Lila who welcomed us upon arrival and guided us to the best places to explore. The room also provided ultimate comfort and cleanliness, with daily cleaning service and even some extra amenities such as beach towels and a beach umbrella. The excellent water pressure in the shower was definitely one of the highlights of the room. The discounted option at the nearby sailing club was another pleasant surprise as it offers delicious meals with a nice view of the harbor. Finally, the location was perfect with easy access to parking lots nearby. Overall, Flaneur is highly recommended for its exceptional service, well-appointed rooms, and convenient location. Many thanks to Lila and the entire Flaneur team for making our trip unforgettable!

Everything was great.

Pure luxury in a fantastic area, quiet but only a 5 min walk to the local beach for a swim to cool down and a promenade of bars and restaurants, or another quick leisurely stroll to the harbour and the old town. The room had the WOW factor :) so bright with lots of windows, high ceiling, cute balcony, great bed, shower, and all the little luxuries like nespresso machine, the softest bath robe, slippers, and I could go on!! It's just perfection and I shouldn't say too much more because it'll be the place we will want to return to all the time! As for Lila the receptionist, such a friendly helpful person always smiling and chatty with all the answers to your questions, and the owner/architect Nadia so nice too. Book it .. but not for our dates!!! Lol it's just perfect and such a pleasure to stay there. Thanks girls see you soon :)
