Exceptional breakfast with everything included ( scrambled eggs, feta cheese, tomatoes, olives, yogurt, fruits), spacious room with seaside view, a nice pool and the staff was very kind. They offered the information on how to get around, what to do and see on the island.

10 mins walk to Fira, good location to enjoy the city while staying a bit out of the crowded centre. Convenient hotel parking. The staff is extremely conscious and provides excellent service and tips for things to see or help with local car rentals. Our familly room was spacious but with few natural light/windows.

Staff were very friendly. The man that runs the poolside bar and restaurant is exceptional. Just a few mins walk from Fira. Would definitely recommend staying

Luca the Front office staff was super helpful. He gave us very clear directions. He arranged transport and tours for us. Over all he was just the best person for the job. Location of the hotel is too good to be true, main action area in Fira was walkable, the bus stop was walkable, the food was walkable. The breakfast was good and the staff were very helpful and cleaned the rooms on time every day.

Everything was perfect! 5 minute walk to downtown, so it was quiet at night but easy access to shopping, restaurants and nightlife. Breakfast was lovely with hot and cold options. The swimming pool was beautiful and served drinks and food. The rooms were pretty. The staff was helpful and accommodating. Lucas booked tours and restaurant reservations for us, Olcey served breakfast and ran the pool and bar.

This is a simple hotel but great value with everything you need. We immensely enjoyed the pool, including the outstanding bar service. The breakfast was wonderful and had a wide variety of options. We were able to save money by eating a large breakfast and simple lunch at the pool. The location was great being close to the bus stop and Thira. The beds were also more comfortable than most we’ve experienced in Greece. The bar man was particularly outstanding, but all of the staff did a great job overall. We would return!

There is not much to dislike, but the road in front of the hotel is very busy with traffic, so you must be careful crossing the street to the sidewalk. Not as ideal for young children.

The staff is very friendly both in the restaurant and at the reception. Lucas at the reception provided us with all the necessary information about this fantastic island, showed us on the map and advised the main attractions to visit. Lucas gave us extra time for a late check-out, for which we were very grateful to him. The convenient location of the hotel allows you to get to the city in 5-7 minutes, and you can enjoy stunning views along the pedestrian path leading to the city. Free parking is available right next to the hotel 👍

I had a wonderful stay at Philippion Boutique Hotel in Fira! The hotel was lovely and in a great location, but what truly made my stay exceptional was Luca. From the moment I arrived, he was incredibly kind, welcoming, and attentive. He went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect throughout my entire stay. His warm hospitality made me feel truly cared for, and I’m very grateful for his support. Highly recommend this place — and if you’re lucky, Luca will be there to make your stay just as amazing!

This is the perfect place to stay. It is an 8-10 min walk into Fira which is bustling and VERY full of people. While most rush into Fira to find a place to eat with a sunset view you literally have that view right across from this hotel. My recommendation is to eat dinner before or after the sunset and watch the sunset from across the road at the hotel. It is stunning and no crowds, and no rooftops in the way. They easily arranged transport from the airport as well as to the port to catch our ferry. The staff was very very helpful and friendly. They will cater to you! If you arrive before checkin they will keep your bags aside and u can walk into town to explore. The pool area is kept very clean as well as the entirety of the hotel. There is always someone cleaning and they keep everything sparkling neat. They also offer a later checkout of 12pm noon (most other places are 11am). 100% recommend!

We visited the hotel with a large group, on the occasion of a wedding. Kostas from the pool bar is an incredibly nice person. For a week, he was like our friend. You could see an incredible commitment to making guests feel comfortable. Willing to try to communicate despite the language barrier, always willing to help and smiling.

As for the weaknesses of the Philipion facility are: Lack of a place where guests can talk freely after 8pm. The pool closes and there is no access even to tables and seats - no lobby.
