This was a great location for me. It is only a 5 minute walk to bus stop # 9, which is one of the excursion pick-up spots. It is a 5 minute walk to the main shopping street and supermarket. The kitchen was fine for what I needed (but note that there is no freezer compartment), and the kitchenware was sufficient (but note that I only did light cooking). Some reviews mentioned problems with towels, but my towels were fine. The bed/sitting area was large, the wifi was good and reliable, satellite tv was good, etc. The apartment is behind other houses, so I found it very quiet and peaceful. In short, this was perfect for my 4 days in Reykjavik.

As mentioned in some reviews, it would have been nice to have an extra roll of toilet paper in the bathroom.

Heated bathroom floors. Fantastic location. Recycling bins and clear instructions. Fuss free checkin. Near supermarket, restaurants and retail shops. Easy to travel to with your luggage from the Hallgrímskirkja (which is where the Flybus will stop you at)

About time to change the kettle.

The Astro Apartment in Iceland offers an array of excellent facilities, including easy check-in, a central location in Reykjavik, and Muslim-friendly amenities 👍. Guests can enjoy the convenience of cooking their meals and access to free laundry services. The friendly operations team is readily available for communication and assistance, although there might be occasional challenges with technical matters. While Reykjavik can be pricey, the overall experience at Astro Apartment surpasses expectations, providing an excellent stay for guests.

The operation team is friendly to communicate for any assistance, but unfortunately, there is one complaint that the technician does not manage to complete. Even the complaint is just a small matter, but to buy anything in reykjavik is very expensive. We hope the operation team will be more alert and to consider any complaint report by the guest.

All you need and excellently located. Practically parallel to the main street with loads of restaurants, coffee shops etc Tour buses are best from/to stop 9 and 11.... just 400m max away from the apartment. We stayed on the 2nd floor,no lift but no big deal at all, just saying. Apartment also has a decent balcony. Excellent value for what is paid and being in the center. Easy check in and check out via code sent by message.

Can't complain!

I liked almost everything but that's one big BUT. Yet good things first: the apartment is exactly as on r pictures, great location, easy to find, smooth contactless check -in. The apartment is equipped with all necessary things, it's spacious and the beds are comfortable. I would say it's a perfect place, however, unfortunately, there's a problem with wooden thin floors that make it feel as if the people who stay above you walk constantly on your head. It's very loud and uncomfortable and I couldn't sleep until my neighbours from the top floor went to sleep and they woke me up early in the morning.

As much as I liked the place, I don't recommend it to sensitive sleepers. If the noise is not something that disturbs you, then it's a great place

The location of the property was fantastic. We made several bookings of day tours to Golden Circle Northern Lights etc so the pick up was always at a bus stop which was a 3-5 mins walk from the location. The apartment had everything we needed- stock of oil, coffee, salt, pepper sugar, utensil etc which we always have to buy at other places if we need to make breakfast ( mind you, restaurants are not open early morning and the booked tour starts early) The nearest grocery store was also 5 minutes walk from apartment. They don't show it well in the picture but the apartment is very close to a scenic view of Mountains and water. It was a self-check-in and check out so we didn't have any interaction with the staff which isnt bad either considering our flight timings were very off. Overall loved the apartment.

Everything was clean except the toilet seat. We saw small hair on the toilet seat when we entered for first time. Glad to have brought spray cleaner for our use. Toiletries were limited to hand soap and body wash+ shampoo(all in one)

The apartment is really nice, it is cozy especially on a rainy or cold day. The beds are comfortable, the kitchen is well equipped and we were happy that we could use it after many days eating in restaurants only. It's well located and parking the car was never a big problem. It's in the payment area, but a few roads up the hill there is free parking (maybe you need to find a spot though).

Almost everything was very good, except of the fact, that the coffee maker still had a used filter with coffee and mold in it, and the fridge was definitely not cleaned the way I would have expected. There were traces of food crumbs. Besides that, everything seemed clean and the kitchen was well equipped. Maybe the one who was cleaning forgot to have a closer look at the fridge and coffee maker. We cleaned both and then we enjoyed our stay.

Location was less than 5 minutes to the centre of Reykjavik. It was 2 minutes from the nearest stop for the excursion buses. It was a nice, compact apartment. Overall a great find!

When the guests in the apartment above me were walking around it was very loud. I was woken several times a night. But i would definitely book here again.

The location was good and it was spacious, which was nice. The bathroom was a bit narrow and felt old, but it wasn't a big problem. It was nice to have a table. When I asked if I could check in early, the staff was kind enough to answer.

Nothing special. I wanted to park my car closer to the apartment, so I had to pay for the parking. It's a bit of a walk to get to the free parking.

Good location, right between the center and some touristic attractions, with good access to a supermarket. Generous space, all you need is there.

Towels need to be changed. They are old, rugged and with holes. Phonic insulation is not working and i could hear noise from the other apartments
