Room was comfortable, clean with necessary amenities and comfy beds (I had two single beds pushed together). For a solo traveller the room was a good size but for two people It would be a little bit of a squeeze. It has a great location with a supermarket and restaurants just a few steps away and the bus stop is just across the street. Easy check in and check out, even if you arrive after and leave before the reception is staffed like I did and the communication from the hotel regarding this is very swift. It was all I needed.

Room was warm most of the time but unfortunately the heating couldn't be turned on, off or adjusted so it could get very hot in there (which depending on you this may affect your sleep). There is a window you can open but I wouldn't recommend leaving this open overnight as it can be very noisy due to the main road being right outside. Also not that many plug sockets in the room.

- The owners were really understanding about our late flight and both us and another group were checked in very efficiently after 1am. - The location is only 1.1km walk from BSí bus stop where the main airport shuttle stops - There is a kebab shop downstairs open until 2am, sometimes 4am, and a 24/7 supermarket in the next building if you arrive late - There is a communal food zone where other travellers share their food before they go. - The room, even though with shared bathroom still had a sink in it meaning we didn't have to leave just to brush teeth or get a glass of water.

For the price paid we were very happy with what we got. The furnishings are dated (shower head no longer clips on, communal seat rocks) but we got excellent value for money so didn't bother us. Booking.com issues (not the owner's fault) - beware of scammers trying to get your credit card details posing as the hotel via the app..

It was a basic room with shared toilet and showers that were fine. It was great to have the use of a full kitchen with a refrigerator and microwave. Conveniently located near pickup bus stop #9 for tours and Flybus. An all-night convenience store was 1/2 block away, so I could get my morning coffee and fruit and yoghurt before I left for my early morning tours. They were very accommodating to hold my luggage before my bus picked me up for the airport.

It would've been nice to have a 2nd towel. The hand dryer did not work in a couple of the WC. The one that worked was VERY loud in the middle of the night.

We stayed in different rooms due to lack of space during our dates. First was a twin room with private bath. It was on the street side, and my friend couldn't sleep due to street/party noise. This was the summer and daylight all the time. I never have a problem sleeping (mask, ear plugs) so didn't bother me a bit. Room was clean, beds comfy, was able to keep our luggage in their store room until room was available, staff were friendly and polite. Did not eat the breakfast there, as there is a great coffee house with bagels around the corner! (Wake & Bake) Hotels are very expensive in Reykavik, and this small guesthouse is a good place to stay.

Shared bathroom was all right, but not as clean as I'd like. However, that is due to other travelers who apparently don't know how to share a bathroom. Can't keep staff on 24 hours to take care of someone!. Not terrible, but really, people can't think of others? The showers in the shared and private bathrooms had at least 1 foot step up, and need some upgrading. Everything was clean, however.

It's a basic hotel, but it has everything a visitor to Reykjavik would need. Many restaurants and shops nearby, including one food court. Walking distance to most of attractions, and very close (5 minutes walk) to Bus Stop #12 where many tours around Iceland start from. The room is relatively small, but it had a nice bathroom, wardrobe, desk, small fridge and water kettle. Beds were comfy as well.

Some of the furniture was a bit old, like wardrobe doors looked like they will fall off, and we had some hangers in bathroom falling off. But other than that, the room was very nice and functional.

I loved the location (at the corner of the main tourist drag Laugavegur and right across the street from one of the designated stops for all tourist and airport busses (Bus stop 9)) and the friendliness of staff. I liked the hassle free checkin in the middle of the night when I arrived, the free luggage storage on my departure day and the fact that the staff let me stay in the kitchen until my airport bus arrived. I also liked the fact that there is a shared kitchen with all necessary facilities. I booked a room with shared bathroom, but the room had a sink, which was nice. The room was warm, comfy and clean.

There was a group of German teenagers on a school trip on my floor and they were quite loud. The walls between the rooms are very thin and I could hear everything well into the night.

Although the toilets and kitchen are shared with the others, there were no problems or queues. Everything is clean and reliable. It is convenient to have a private sink in the room and the rooms are spacious enough. The location is very good, 20 minutes from the bus station.

My windows were on the street side, so I could hear the noise (wooden windows). The neighbours in the room could also hear. However, everyone was quite polite and it was quiet at night. But earplugs are a companion in this case if you are more sensitive. Also, my room was further away from the entrance, so the internet was too weak for the computer, but the phone worked.

Superb location, just 5-10 mins walk from centre of Reyjavik, very close to shops and attractions. Late evening arrival and check-in was super easy.

Although we didn't book breakfast when the booking was made, in all communications we were informed that breakfast was available for 22euros, and was served from 7:00am. we went down for breakfast only to find everywhere closed and in darkness. We then discovered (using the late arrivals intercom) that they do not serve breakfast during the winter. there are however breakfast options available nearby.

We booked a room for two people. The room had a sink and a mirror, perfect for any personal preparations before going out into the city. As I remember there also was a table and chair and cupboard to store away clothing. The beds were absolutely amazing, especially after two weeks of sleeping in a tent. One of the main touristic areas of Reykjavik starts just outside the Guesthouse doors, simply follow the road on the opposite side for the satisfaction of any consumptional desires, may they be merch, shopping, food, drinks or else. Just around the corner is a really cool record store. I definitely recommend giving the Schawarma place next door a try, superb!!! We used the kitchen, equipped with heating plates to prepare our daily campers meal of pasta and tomato sauce. We used it in the afternoon, it was clean, well equipped, and seemed to be a nice place to hang around at.

Location was perfect! Bus stop across the road for our tour pick up/drop off. Really nice food court and Thai restaurant just behind the hotel, plus a supermarket which was handy. Easy to walk to many other attractions of the city. The main guy at the desk was FABULOUS (forgot his name but I think he was French - perfect person for the front desk as he was super helpful). The hotel was better than I expected as it was a great price so I didn't have high expectations but it was better than expected. There is a kitchen to self cook, a hairdryer which was appreciated after a rainy day and we found the communal areas created a friendly atmosphere where the guests were quite chatty with each other in these common spaces. Highly recommend 🤗🥳

Breakfast was a bit "Meh". I think it was a new initiative and whilst the price was good, there is a better deal at the hotel across the road next to the bus stop.
