The facilites were clean and comfortable. The guests were all respectable people and we felt very safe. Ample cooking supplies were provided, although we did not utilize them being that we keep kosher. The halls were mostly quiet at night and in the morning. Checkin and checkout was easy. Pretty good location and reasonable price considering costly hotel prices in Rekjavik. Overall wonderful experience and would do again!

We were staying there for a week and had to ask for new towels. We were told to wait a day when we asked. We would have apreciated new towels every couple of days. Also, it seems that the room key is the same for every room. It would be saafer to have unique keys for every room.

This was my 5th time staying at this amazing apartment guesthouse, and it just keeps getting better! It’s hands down one of the best guesthouses in Reykjavik. The location is perfect..right near the city center and close to supermarkets, so everything you need is within walking distance. This time, I was really impressed with the recent renovations they did to the kitchen. It’s now fully equipped, making it so easy to cook your own meals during your stay, which was a great bonus! A special shoutout to the cleaning ladies from Romania. They are always so kind, friendly, and efficient, and their warm hospitality really adds a personal touch to the experience. I can’t wait to come back again next time. Highly recommend this place!

The accommodation is conveniently located about 10 minutes from the center. It has parking in front of the building but there is a chance that you will not find a space and will have to park on a nearby street for a fee. There is a shared kitchen to cook. There is no elevator which we knew about. The room was clean and warm. The beds were not very comfortable but for the price it was ok. There was shower gel. Check-in was easy without anyone present.

A very negative thing was that the hot water smelled quite strongly, probably a result of the geothermal energy.

This is a great Guesthouse. Me and my teenage son stayed for 2 nights and we loved it. The facilities were great, we used the kitchen both nights and wasn't short of anything. The beds were very comfortable and the showers were nice and clean and spacious. Was only a 6 minute walk to the main bus station where all the tours collect you from, so very handy and the cheap supermarket was 1 minute walk around the corner which was also great! Overall we really enjoyed our stay, check in and check out was very easy and we would definitely stay again. Good value for money 😊

Property is located near to bus stop- 13. It’s well near to the downtown. Hostel is self serving. We checked in ourselves- owner sent the code and details in the message. Most of things are near by. We got all tour buses at bust stop-12 and that’s also nearby to the hostel. There are lots of seating area to eat your food. Also kitchen area is there to prepare your food. Overall its value for Money.

If you are staying longer, room should be cleaned after two days interval else it becomes dirty.

I like the bed, it was very comfy, the place was very quiet eventho they have lots of guest but I heard nothing. The shared bathroom and toilete close to our room. Close to city center just walking for 5-7 minutes we found what we need. Strategic place, if we book a tour, so oft the hotel infront always as a pick up/drop off location. There is a kitchen as well and lots of free stuff from the guests who didn't stay anymore 😆 . The free locker room before check in or after check out.

Not the Guesthouse Pavi, but the guests who shared the same toilet, they left it dirty sometimes.

I liked having access and use of a kitchen, Iceland being quite expensive this was a big bonus (with also the more cost effective supermarket ‘Bonus’ around the corner) The room was clean and nice, having a hand basin in the room was convenient (bathroom and shower is shared and is perfect floor, I never had to wait to use the facilities and it was always clean) the heating was adequate, the host was responsive and helpful, the proximity to one of the bus stops (not the main bus station) was great, overall it was good stay.

I would have liked a desk in the room, but this is not something included this is just a personal preference. The only other small thing was I found the lighting in the room a little too dark, but this is a very minor thing.

The lobby was very modern and the kitchen was large and well equipped. Comfortable distance to the center of town and free parking outside - rarely struggled to find a space. The Kringlan mall is 5 minutes away by car and the Bonus supermarket is 5 minutes away by foot. The room was warm and comfortable.

The communal bathroom in the lobby was often poorly stocked with toilet paper and fresh towels. Some guests less considerate of others cook strongly scented foods - as it is usually cold out the smells tend to linger in the lobby and stairwell. Bedroom doors seem to need to be pulled firmly to close, which results in lots of door slamming through the day and night.

It was surprisingly well finished inside. The room was big, the ensuite bathroom was also good size and clean. Waterflow was strong and hot. Beds were comfortable, the windows opened, radiators were working. Honestly it was very good quality. The field kitchen was small, but tidy. We had a look in shared bathrooms as well, and they also looked clean. Overall everything was as it should be.

Just the fact the are where the hotel is situated, is a hotels area and there is quite few of them there. And the touring buses were just coming in out out 24/7, but we were on 4th floor so it want too but for us, just a bit of annoyance, but ppl on ground floor must have been a bit cross.
