Well appointed studio apartment with a balcony. Had all the things you might need including fridge and pans and utensils to cook. It is right near a Bonus grocery so we were able to easily cook our dinners and breakfasts and pack our lunches. It is very very quiet, a bit outside central reykjavik but still able to quickly get where you need to go. Curtains are nice and thick and block out all light which was very helpful during the long summer days. Videos in check in material were helpful on how to enter the building and the apartment.

It was described as on site parking in the listing. This was not the case, it was street parking. We ended up being able to find free street parking nearby but the reason I chose this accommodation over another less expensive apartment was that it was supposed to have on site parking and I did not want the stress of finding parking.

Super stylish, clean & quiet appartment. Nice bathroom, good shower, kichenette. Elevator, free parking outside, walking distance to center, 5 min to beginning of Laugavegur. Safe neighborhood. Restautants nearby but away from the spotlight. Philips Senseo Coffeemaker came in handy. Beamer + Screen with Prime/Netflix but we did not use it. You could do laundry too. Balcony and high ceilings. Great wifi. Perfect!

We were too stupid (boomer) to get in at first. The code has 6 digits not just 4. Gotta press keysymbol+code+keysymbol when entering outside. Phonecalls to office were hung up. I was given the same code information as before without further explanation. A friendly guy from the cleaning staff told us the trick. 6digits! When we left, 2 young women had the same issue with the code. Please explain better for dummies. Just mentioning. Master bed was fine, sofabed matrass was really very soft. 40squaremeters include the balcony. Size of room was fine though because we did not spent much time in there. Appartment could be equipped with more than 4 pieces of cutlery a person when having a dishwasher. Having an equipped small kitchen helped already a lot.

The property is conveniently located near the city center, making it an ideal choice for travelers. It’s especially beneficial for those renting a car, as free parking is available throughout the stay. The space is generously sized, and the heating system is excellent, with adjustable settings to suit individual preferences. The kitchenette is a major plus, allowing us to save significantly on meals by preparing our own breakfast and even packing lunch for our trips around Iceland. Additionally, there’s a nearby grocery store where affordable food items can be purchased. However, it’s worth noting that cooking essentials like condiments are not provided, so make sure to bring everything you need.

There were a few downsides to our stay. The sink was leaking, and although we reported it to management, no one came to fix it. However, it wasn’t a major issue as we could still use it. Another inconvenience was the limited supply of towels—only two were provided for the entire five-day stay. Additionally, the room was not cleaned during our stay, and the bedsheets were not changed.

It was very clean, well insulated and we could not hear any other guests. There was lots of basic equipment provided in the kitchen that allowed us to make simple meals, and in the bathroom there were also some essentials. Good location to the city centre and a shop for groceries was very close too. Checking in and out was very easy.

It was very hot in the room. We stayed during early feb, but even with snow outside it was hard to sleep the first night because of the heat. We turned off the heating and then it was a very comfortable temp after a few hours.

Location is great, walking distance from the city center, great view of the ocean from the balcony. We had everything we needed here, it felt like home away from home. Blackout curtains did a good job of keeping the light out.

Overall the place was really clean, except the kitchen had some overlooked grease. I actually wiped all the cupboards down myself because they had greasy finger prints all over them. Then I went to turn on the light above the oven, and dripping grease got all over my hand. I will say I'm a bit picky about cleaning because I used to be a professional cleaner, the light above the oven is a bit hidden, so easy to overlook, but the cupboards are quite visible and only need a quick wipe to look spotless.

The location was a big plus - can walk into the town centre, easy parking, supermarket nearby. The apartment was very clean and so quiet. It was warm which was nice as it was very cold outside (heating is also adjustable). TV with access to Netflix was a big plus.

The bed - mattress is quite soft and due to the design there is a gap between the wall and top of mattress (you can't comfortably sit up and read / watch TV as nothing to lean against). Also one pillow only - again quite poor quality and very soft, really struggles to fall asleep on that. A few other little things like only one wine glass and no cooking oil but plenty of salt at the apartment - most apartments I have been to before which have self catering facilities would have salt and pepper, cooking oil, tea and coffee.

We had a fantastic stay at this apartment. It seemed to be recently renovated as it was modern, well-appointed, and spotlessly clean. Communication with the agent was very prompt as well as being incredibly helpful and friendly. Despite being in use the previous night, the team worked hard to allow us an earlier check-in, which was greatly appreciated. I don't understand other reviews suggesting that the bed was not too comfortable as we slept soundlessly each night. We never drove but had no problem casually strolling into town in around 25 minutes and it was well located for our tour pick-ups with 22 Hill being just 2 minutes away.

Nothing, the apartment met or exceeded our expectations in all areas.

The kitchen was great, the bathroom was spacious and the whole room was very efficient with the layout. The location was superb and onto a 15-20 min walk into town. Loads of free parking around the hotel and the hosts instructions were very clear and precise. The room was also really warm and cosy which was great when you came back from a day out in the harsh cold conditions.

There was alot of dust and dirt in places you would expect to find it if you were to quickly clean a room. E.g. next to the matress where you could see alot of dirt from previous guests but its easily ignored. There was also dirt under the table around the legs but again this is easily ignored.

It's hard not to give this accommodation anything less than a 10. I enjoyed the amount of parking available, the bed was comfortable, the interior decor was very inviting, the bathroom offered cabinet space and water temperature was exactly was I needed. The closet space was a good amount as well and access to the building and room was provided prior to arriving and fairly easy to access. Peaceful and didn't have any issues or concerns of privacy.

A few things that I didn't like was no seating for the balcony, the tv is a distance away from the bed so it can be hard to see with the size of the tv. There is a box next to the apartment room door which I found out was a key to the laundry room, but I wasn't sure what the code was for that box or the exact location of the laundry room. I'm sure this is information you can get from the host, but it would have been convenient for it to be added in the initial message that provides the room code and wifi information. I found myself wishing the bed say a bit higher off the ground at times, but it was still a comfortable sleep.

The location was great, free parking in front of the door and there was always place, close to the citycenter (easy on foot), very, very clean, coffeepads, soap and a fully equipped kitchen. Nice and warm appartment. Easy to check in and out with the keycode. I also liked the balcony. Great waterpressure in the shower. Roostercafe on the corner of the street for great coffee and a public swimmingpool in walking distance

There was no wasing machine wich was mentioned in the booking, the view because we were on the first floor and the lack of a sofa to sit on. Now it was sitting on the bed or on the chair, so not so comfy after a long day of being outside. I saw that there were appartments with sofa. Ours (205) did not have one. Although it was mentioned in the reservation.
