We stayed at that property for 3 nights. The self-check-in instructions were clear and easy, and had been sent one day in advance. It was a simple room on the ground floor in a house with a shared kitchen. Yet we had a bathroom in the room. It generally took 20 minutes to get to the town hall on foot. There is a Bonus supermarket next building down the road, which was very handy. There was a comfortable bed, a TV, a small coffee table and a hanger in the room. The private bathroom was quite nice. The shared kitchen was well equipped with a microwave, a refrigerator, a toaster, an oven, a kettle, some crockery, etc. There were also some tea/coffee available in the kitchen. The room was warm as there were some heated radiators. Yet it wasn’t quite clean, but we didn’t care much about that. Overall, that homestay can be recommended as a price/quality ratio is utterly honest for Reykjavik.

I just needed an ok place to sleep, and this delivered. The single room was extremely(!) small, but in all fairness I didn't need anything else than the bed (+ coat hangers, mirror, towel and hairdryer) provided. It seemed clean and was close to Reykjavik center.

The mattress was pretty hard, and while I slept like a baby, that could be a problem for some. Maybe hang up some notes reminding people to be quiet late at night. Two other guests were having a very enthusiastic and loud conversation in the common area after 11pm - which was a bit frustrating as I had to get up at 5 for work the following day (such Monday vibes)..

Room is small but clean and overall the Inn is well maintained. The host is very kind and gentle. I lost the keys to the room I was staying in. It was late in the evening and I was so disappointed in myself and almost hopeless at 11 PM. I messaged the host on WhatsApp and he responded with in a minute and came to the place with in 10 minutes and handed over the spare key. Only a person with a heart and a concern for another person would ever do this. He also did not charge me anything for the lost keys. Parking is across the street and is free and is always available. There is a Bonus general store next door.

The location is nice, directly over the road there is a store - bonus and it is quite close to the center. If you need to stay somewhere for 1 or two days, this accomodation is perfect for that! There is a kitchen with many usable dishes and the bathroom is also pretty nice! When I will be in Reykjavik again I will definitely choose this accomodation!

Only what I missed was that in the room the was not a possibility to open the window, so it was quite hot even there was a ventilator.

Very good price for a single room in Reykjavik, was even cheaper than dorm-beds in some hostels! Good location, only a few minutes walk to city center. Supermarket next door, still the street itself is rather quiet. Very clean and also has basic equipment for cooking.

Room has no window, that you can open and I didn't find the ventilation at first. The place doesn't have too much atmosphere, kitchen equipment was very basic but for the price it's totally fine.

Was given wrong room number on original message so I had to call and it was 001 not 101. Bathroom had 2 sinks one tiny and one large both quite dirty. Shower did not drain well at all until I realized there is a thing in the drain that can be taken out

Great location, right next to supermarket, close to Reykjavik, easy self check in. Kitchen area for prepping food, simple, quiet and private :)

Didn’t see any staff so more of an Airbnb type situation, no wash products (shampoo, shower gel etc)

Perfect for our needs. Close to city center, all services needed included. Bus stop next to the door. Even a supermarket very close for buying whatever we needed. Perfect balance quality-service-location-price.

The room was basic but is good value for money and has everything you need for traveling. Easy parking as the hotel shared very detailed free parking space with us and we could luckily find one. Location is also close to Bonus supermarket which closes at 8PM. Overall a very good stay.

Very good. It was very easy to get to any of the places I wanted to visit.

Prlvacy was the biggest thing, because you would open the blinds, you can see people and they can see you. Sorry not a good thing when you’re a woman travelling on your own.
