Our stay at the hotel was absolutely wonderful. From the moment we arrived, we felt just like at home. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming and the staff went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable. The breakfast was excellent. Homemade bread, spreads… My children have never had a better chocolate spread. Nina, Gabriel, and the rest of the team were truly wonderful. The location is perfect — you could easily walk to the center, store is near and pick-ups were easy. The beds were comfortable too. We truly enjoyed every moment and would happily come back again.

We stayed for 4 nights , the room had enough space for 2 adults and 2 kids , the beds were comfortable . The breakfast was sufficient to start the day , I specially liked the cake in the evenings . The tea and coffee was available throughout the day. There was place for kids to play which our kids enjoyed playing darts. There was grocery store nearby , and we walked from this hotel to city center , it was about 20 min walk.

No room cleaning done in 4 nights. The food is very expensive in Iceland , a touch of microwave available for guests to heat frozen supermarket food had been good.

Hotel was clean and comfortable with everything we needed for our stay. Being located a little further out of Reykjavik meant it was quiet but easy to walk to all venues we wanted to see in around half an hour, or walk 5 minutes to the bus stop. Staff were so friendly and helpful - nothing was ever too much trouble and we really enjoyed chatting with them. Lovely to come back to unlimited hot drinks and freshly baked cake in the afternoons. Good amount of choice for breakfast and buffet stations replenished regularly.

The main doors to rooms were noisy to open, close and lock, so if guests were coming or going late at night, it was difficult to do so without disturbing other guests. The lift could be a bit unreliable - there weren't too many stairs and this was our preferred choice, but obviously needed to use the lift when we had our luggage.

The staff is super friendly and helpful, one of the best points of the hotel. The room was big enough, warm and comfortable. The breakfast is good, with nice breads and cereals. And it was also super nice to have coffee and cake during the day/evening. All cakes were delicious!!!

The cleaning was ok, but not the best. They change towels and bed sheets 3 times per week, and I think it was ok. However, would be nice if they clean the floor of the room and the bathroom. The location is nice, but not right on city center.

The staff were excellent - all very pleasant and helpful (including a good restaurant recommendation). There was a very good selection of items at breakfast and coffee and tea all day was much appreciated. The room was very comfortable. I'm just sorry that I had to dash away without saying a final good-bye and thank you to the reception staff because my airport pickup came earlier than I expected.

There was nothing about the hotel that I didn't like. The only reason I gave a less than perfect score for location is that in winter, when everything is covered in ice, there aren't as many options that are as close to this hotel as there might be for other locations.

Breakfast was good and they gave us an early breakfast on day of departure which we appreciated. Clean ,comfortable room. All day free coffee , free cake at 4pm which was a lovely touch.

This is a very very nice hotel. It is not directly in the city centre, but it is within walking distance. The rooms are very big and the staff is super friendly. The hotel is really cosy, the free cake was a nice addition. The good thing about this hotel is also that you can get the dropped-off and picked-up for activities directly to the hotel.

The room is a bit old, but super functional. The only thing that I was missing was the water kettle in the room, but there is cake and free hot water, tea and coffee in the main area.

Decent breakfast. The rooms are on the smaller side but this was expected from the pictures which are quite accurate - the rooms was actually a bit larger than I expected. Free parking outside. Arriving at midnight is no issue because they will have the keys ready for your pickup in the lobby and provide a code to enter the main door. A grocery store is quite near. The city center is about a 20 minute walk away from the hotel. Good view of the mountains to the north of Reykjavik.

Our room was a two level loft arrangement with two beds down and three beds upstairs with plenty of room for my family of four. Both the bathroom and sleeping areas were clean and tidy. The beds and bedding were very clean and comfortable. The hotel offers a complimentary coffee machine in the breakfast area and served cake in the evening. The breakfast served was very good and had a decent selection. They have a recreation room with ping pong, fuzz ball, axe throwing and other games to play. The hotel has its own parking lot of you are coming by car.

The hot water has a sulfur smell. Other than that our stay was excellent.

We stayed in quad room on 3rd level. Very good location, great staff. We were given an early check in which helped start our iceland vacation on a great start. We were able to rest, freshen up and get out sooner in the city after our overnight flight. Breakfast was very nice. They have nice lobby area snd a game reading area too, lovely stay . Will surely stay here next time we are in Rekjevik!

Kids mentioned that upper level room was bit stuffy. All beds were comfortable but it is possible the room heat rises up and windows were cracked open in lower level. Someone had mentioned that take a small fan to get air moving but it would be nice if hotel provided fan to move the air
