Fantastic hotel. The staff were great - always helpful, friendly and polite. The food was amazing - the Christmas buffet was expensive but worth it for the tastes on offer. Breakfast was great with so much choice. The room was very comfy and soundproofing was great. bathroom facilities were spot on too. With a 30 minute walk into town it was a great location.

My only small complaint was the insulation on the window could have been better - the 50mph winds rattled and creaked the window one of the nights!

Aside from the usual (clean room & friendly staff), my wife & I always look for the amenities included. Our trip had a road bump & we definitely contemplated coming back into town for another stay at this hotel. Here were the 2 main things (outside of our usual). They had a FULL gym & when I say FULL i mean squat rack, multiple benches, full set of weights going over 100lbs (in kg), treadmills, bikes, machines for everything, even an assault bike! Oh and a separate yoga room! Next was parking was free & plentiful. Parking can be annoying in the shopping areas but stress free at this hotel. Our gym standards will now be based off this hotel.

The fact the bar above our room had music playing till just before midnight, which stopped us sleeping for an early morning flight,which is inconsiderate for everyone else

The hotel was great, stylish, comfortable, astonishingly good value for money, with great gym and spa facilities. The room was clean and comfortable, and had a mini fridge which was useful. There was parking, and a run of shops, including restaurants and coffee shops, so that was great. The hotel was a walkable distance into the town although a little further than just a casual stroll.

Coffee in the lobby was chargeable and on the 2nd day our coffee sachets weren't refilled. The kettle tray on the unit in the room wasn't near a plug socket, and the socket beneath the light switch didn't seem to work. It wasn't immediately clear how to switch from bath to shower mode, so a sign might have helped, and for the hand wash/body wash (squeeze!)

Comfy, easy to get around . Foods was quite okay.

Some stuff are cold, some are really nice but that’s okay. What’s not okay is that it’s a reputable hotel around the globe , so make sure that it has a reputable cleanliness as well. The window were just below from my expectations. The toilet hasn’t have any glass , toothbrush & toothpaste, I mean it course I brought mine but still, they should provide a basic stuff inside. They afford to build Hilton but can’t provide those basic stuff? Oh , a brush for the bowl as well. The mini fridge was empty. I’m used to have it all provided in a 4/5 stars hotel. Even some 2/3 stars hotel provide those basic needs for guest. Also, they don’t have a sign to leave outside whether you DONT want to be disturb , or if you want your room to be clean or not. They just enter there without permission.

The staff was exceptional. Hannah and Sigurgeir were particularly great, very informative and helpful - they provided excellent customer service. Every staff member we spoke with or asked anything of went above and beyond. We decided to pay extra (room rate) to include breakfast - breakfast was worth every penny. We also had access to the executive lounge - highly recommend! I was very impressed with this stay. I would book again! We rented a car and the location of the hotel was perfect as a home base location. And a cool small thing: the hotel has USB ports so you don't necessarily have to bring a country specific plug to charge electronics. Can't say enough about how impressed we were with our stay at Hilton Reykjavik Nordica - it really made our first trip to Iceland that much better! :)

24 hour room service would have been nice. They do provide cold snacks/sandwiches in the lobby 24/7. And the times were returned after midnight (after light hunting) Hannah helped us to order pizza which was delivered to the hotel. So, it wasn't awful that room service wasn't provided 24/7, it just would have been a bonus.

Single room with a view. A bit tight but very comfortable and bed also. Kettle and cups in room. Would have like herbal teas. Breakfast was excellent both in range of choice and quality. I would have liked a tea pot or coffee pot so that I did not need to get up for another cup!

Nothing really. All staff were pleasant and helpful. For those of us who are not computer litterate and don't use apps, written instructions in the room would be helpful.

The room was very good, had good bed, two desks, good chairs. The breakfast was exceptional. The bar area was very cosy and relaxing. I did not use the Spa, will do next time. The staff was very easy going and friendly. I had dinner at the hotel restaurant (Vox Brasserie/restaurant). The food was excellent and the service was excellent. I highly recommend this hotel.

Most of staff was outstanding. Only one staff waitress/supervisor was not up to Hilton standards.

One waitress was rude, condescending, and discriminatory towards tourists. Alma was NOT up to Hilton standards. She openly resented tourists.

Excellent breakfast with a big choice of meals; excellent dinner and amiable staff in the restaurant; relaxing spa with two indoor hot tubs, one pool, steam cabin, sauna, and outdoor hot bath; Excellent quiet room on 8 floor with a good wide TV with installed Youtube, which can be used directly from the TV. It is a good location if You are travelling with a car.

Unfortunately, we could not order lunch through booking.com (e.g. to have the full board (FB) in the hotel).
