The room, specially the bed was very comfortable. And all were very clean. Very good value.
Not close to the city center. You will need a car to get there. The breakfast could have a little bit more quality (although there was a lot of options)

The hotel is an excellent choice for Reykjavik. All tour operators offer pick-ups from Muli or from Hilton Nordica that is like 3 min walk from Muli. The room was very spacious and very clean. We had all that we needed. The bathroom was also very big. The beds were really comfortable. The breakfast is very good and served from 7a.m. till 11 a.m. (even a bit earlier). The two coffee machines are available to all guests all the time free of charge. There are cutlery, plates, bowls and microwave in the breakfast room that are available for use all day free of charge. The check in and check out process were extremely easy. If we are to return to Reykjavik, we will book with Muli again.
It is a bit far from the city center - approx. 30 min walk from the main cathedral. However, there are two bus stops on 4 min walk from the hotel. But be careful- the public buses drivers accept only cash for the tickets and do not give change. The app I not working properly the most times...

Breakfast is amazing - a lot of options, everything is fresh. Beds are comfy, rooms are spacious and geared towards the Iceland explorers - everything is functional, plenty of space to leave large suitcases, leave clothes to dry etc.
As a smoker, it would be nice if they have a couple of chairs in the back, where the emergency exit is, as it seems to be a bit more secluded from the front/back of the hotel. Of course, this is just a little suggestion from my end - I completely understand if this is not feasible at this location. Other than that, everything else was great.

The property was pretty easy to get to by car. It was not walkable to Reykjavik attractions but it was easier to get out of town for sightseeing other places. And parking was free! Most places in the city charged. Breakfast buffet had lot of options and was one of the better free hotel buffets I’ve seen.
The rooms were very simple - they had the absolute basics and nothing more. Limited towels and bedding. There was no A/C (which wasn’t surprising) but the windows did open. Know that the sun basically didn’t set in mid-May (curtains were mostly dark) and the birds are loud.

The price was excellent, the fully stocked laundry facility was such a lovely benefit, the complimentary hot drinks, the quick communication of staff via email, and the breakfast boxes were all great. The adapted/accessible room was great for our needs. The staff were brilliant in setting up the rooms despite us being very early. The hotel was clean, modern and comfortable.
It was very warm during the night, and it was more difficult to make tea with milk as there wasn’t milk to hand and we had to ask for it (not a problem, it was just a minor niggle for one guest in our party because she drinks a lot of tea with milk!). If you come by bus from the centre, there is some walking to be expected, but it was manageable by both low mobility guests in our party, including the one with a walker.

This was hands down the best experience we've had traveling abroad. The hotel is located within walking distance of plenty of food options. Morning breakfast was always a pleasure, and the staff provided some of the best services we have ever had traveling. Self heck in was great and allowed us to set our own schedule. Towel warmer in the bathroom was next level. I can not recommend this place enough to others!

This is a lovely hotel. Just outside of the centre, about a 20 min walk. The staff are very pleasant and helpful and will try and help wherever they can. The breakfast was good. The chocolate croissants were absolutely amazing. The rooms are a good size and very clean. They have a fridge and a hair dryer but no tea and coffee facilities. Having said that, tea, coffee, and hot chocolate are available 24/7 and free of charge in the breakfast room. They also have a microwave so that you can heat food. They have a laundry room on the second floor, which was helpful on our last night. We went to the blue lagoon and managed to dry our clothes before packing them away. They also have a phone you could use, free of charge to make local calls. We were picked and dropped from our hotel by the tourist companies that we booked our trips with.

We enjoyed our stay at the hotel. The staff were friendly and welcoming, and the receptionist was always smiling and ready to help with any questions we had. The breakfast wasn’t very varied, but it was tasty and satisfying. Tea and coffee were available 24/7 on the first floor, which was a nice touch. There’s also a grocery store just a 5-minute walk away. A tip for future guests: if you’re planning to stay for a few days, consider renting a car. Taxis in the city are quite expensive, and the airport shuttle to the city costs €32 per person one way.

It's a "self service hotel" - which means you let yourself in with a PIN-code, get the card to your room from a box, find supplies (like extra pillows, towels, toilet paper) in a laundry room where you can even do laundry if necessary. Sounds odd? No it's really relaxed and gives you maximum autonomy. Our room was modern and well equipped (even with a fridge for food and USB-sockets next to the bed which made loading your devices easy) and the bathroom had a great shower. The blackout curtains did what they were meant to do, too - important around midsommer, as the sun is out almost all day and night. Additionally you can get yourself coffee from a machine round the clock (free of charge) and there is a lounge area where you can sit and eat your own stuff or read (like in a livingroom). The lounge area is where breakfast is served as well, which was very good with quite some choices (sweet and savoury as well as several kinds of bread), so we started the day with energy. Breakfast was the only time we saw staff from the hotel.
Our room was quite small and in a kind of half basement as the hotel is built on the slope of a hill (the view from our window, which was quite high up, were the tyres of parked cars). Maybe we had a budget room!? For icelandic standards the room was priceworthy, though. The hotel is located in an industrial zone. So, the view out of all windows (also from the lounge) and the area around the hotel are really dull (but on the other hand it's quiet at night). The walk to the city centre is about 3 km with little to see until you reach Hallgrimskirkja. We should have taken the bus...

This is a wonderful hotel located in the center of Reykjavik! The staff are super helpful, communicative and supportive. Breakfast is OUTSTANDING! There is literally everything you could want at breakfast, so you don't go hungry! The Coffee, Tea and HOT CHOCOLATE all excellent (trust me, after a cold say touring sites, coming back to a delicious cup of hot cocoa was so nice!). Rooms cozy. Beds comfy. Just a really nice, comfortable, enjoyable place to stay! And parking as well!
Only slightly weird thing was a fishy smell coming from the third floor maintenance room. Not sure what that was all about but the outstanding room we stayed in, did not have a fishy smell, and the hotel itself was nice, clean and smelled great.
