All the ladies working at the hotel were lovely, starting with Patricia, Daniela, the other ladies at breakfast/reception and housekeeping. A very big THANK YOU. We arrived around 9:30 , 10 am and luckily the room was ready to check in 30 mins from then. Good variety of breakfast items, enough for anyone to choose from. I enjoyed most of them, especially the breads and the milk. They were absolutely delicious! Icelandic milk has the taste of proper country milk. My partner particularly liked the DIY waffles. To get to town we used the local buses. They are quite frequent and enough routes to take you were you need to get.

It would have been nice to have the eggs done differently every morning, instead of just scrambled.They were nice, but maybe have them fried aswell every other day. One morning the scrambles where very hard/solid... It would have been useful for at least a chair in the room and a small table..., a foldable one due to the small size of the room.

Well I loved the look of the Hotel. The Check-in is so easy; you get a 4 digit code by Email, which will open the main door and room. As for Check-out, just leave the yellow check-out flyer on the outside handle and away you go. The rooms are modern and clean with a Great shower and decent size TV. The Breakfast was pretty good, but if you're expecting a Fry-up, then think again. I like the fact the Hotel itself, is a pick-up place for tours. Oh there are a few Supermarkets very near, which I used regularly. Oh I nearly forgot, you can drink the Tap water, unless it says otherwise.

Well I'm an introvert, so the lack of staff, didn't bother me, but it may bother others. Yeah, it's a small thing, but a Fry-up as an option for Breakfast would be Awesome. You're far from the center of things, but the Grensas bus stops are just outside the hotel, will bring you to and from the center of things. Use Bus 15 and use the far bus shelter to get into town. Yes, other Buses can do that too, I don't want to complicate things. Download Klapp app to buy smart tickets you can scan on the bus. 550 is the cost of one ticket and it's valid for over an hour, to use again and again. TBH there wasn't much to complain about.

A smooth self check in accommodation. The facilities is complete - there is a kitchenette with a microwave, fridge, oven, and electric kettle with complete utensils The place is spacious and clean! Especially the bathroom! Our stay was really comfortable because we did not feel cramped in a tight space. The breakfast is okay. A little variety would be good but regardless it was good. Plus points for syrup pumps for coffee! The location is 2 minutes from bus stop and a pick up point to almost all tours if you opt for it. Overall, it was a perfect stay. Would definitely recommend!

The property was well maintained and clean! The room was lovely and had good lighting, clean sheets and a huge bathroom. The kitchen was complete with plates, bowls , cookware, sink and a hot plate. We had full control of the radiator and could modulate the temperature as we needed. The bathroom had heated floors which was delightful. The property was great. Also the buffet breakfast was EXCELLENT! They had scrambled and boiled eggs, sausage, bacon, fresh waffles, toast, bread rolls, croissants, fruit, juice, a deli center with tuna salad, eggs salad, ham and cheese, yogurt, oatmeal and so much more! Very filling and delicious. Saved us a ton of money not having to eat out for breakfast and usually lunch if we timed it right! Also the parking garage is awesome if you can get a spot. We were unable to get one on our first day but street parking was plenty and easy to access.

Good hotel. Clean. Minimalist. Wasn't there much during hours bar was open. Easy to access and decent location.

Parking is only 16 spots. Another guest said that he tried for 5 days and never found a spot. Parked at the lot two blocks away but the payment machine did not work. I hope I don't get a fine.

Limited parking: if you arrive after 5pm you will not get a space. Only ever 1 member of staff around so not always someone when needed and need to rely on emailing. The fire alarm went off when we were at the hotel and no one informed us what was going on etc. This was a one off issue though and didn’t impact are stay too much.

The room was big enough, had two beds and a small sofa. Staff was cheerful and helpful. There were two big glass windows with a nice urban view. There were supermarkets and shops nearby.

They did not send us a code for parking which created a problem there. We had to go in and get the code from a staff. Hassle and time waste otherwise no big deal. There was no reception, only a bar where we had to ask for help. Parking spaces were pretty tight and there was only one narrow passage for driving in and out.

The hotel is a self check in hotel with everything being sent to you a day before and your passcode activating that day at 3pm local time. The passcode gives you access to the garage and to walk in the main lobby. The rooms are nicely decorated and most of all clean. Pillows and comforter were great. Great sunlight from windows. With a 5 minute walk you have access to over 6 dining options including a supermarket and most dining being fast food. Within a 10 minute drive you are in downtown. 40 minutes from the airport (KEF). The parking spaces are limited but ample parking adjacent to the hotel as well as the side street. Breakfast was complimentary from 7-10am. An assortment of cereal, cheeses, meats, vegetables, breads. Waffle maker, eggs, bean and sausage, fresh fruit and pastries. I stayed at 2 other hotels in the area and this breakfast was the best. They have a bar open from 5-10 in the same area where they offer soup and bread to be paid of course. They have board games as well as a little foosball table. Another room on premises that can be reserved features tvs and table. Great music while having breakfast. All in all would highly recommend and would definitely choose this coming back on a moderate budget. Great for the value!

At first we were disappointed with the hotel because it is situated on a very busy road and it is quite away out of downtown Reykjavík. Also, the room was in need of redecoration. Once we’d settled in, chatted to the lovely lady on the bar, had some breakfast, found a supermarket, worked out the buses and our bearings we were a lot happier with our choice. The staff couldn’t do enough to help us, we were able to eat our own food in the bar area, we were first pick up and drop off on the tours due to the hotels position and the breakfast was really good.

In need to a refurb.

We booked 2 family rooms for 2 nights last weekend as part of our trip to Iceland and it was ideal for us. We managed to have a parking space at the hotel which was great, breakfast was amazing and catered for everyone, rooms were clean comfortable. Check in and out was easy and we used the left luggage facility, we didn’t need to speak to a single member of staff as everything was perfect and easy to do. Thank you! Pizza place across the road and kebab shop up the road were both delicious. 24 hour supermarket 2 Mins away and less than 10 mins drive into Reykjavik.
