The early check out time with no option for luggage storage meant that I had to chose between finding somewhere else for storage OR leave for the airport quite early.

The room surpassed my expectations in terms of finishings; everything seemed new and the bathroom was especially nice. For a solo traveller, it had everything I needed and more, including a solid kitchenette with an electric kettle, pod-based coffee maker, toaster, pots, pans, and a convection stove and oven. This is all very important because dining out in Reykjavík is incredibly expensive and I learnt quickly that buying your own groceries is 10x more affordable. Luckily the location of this place is great, with a Netto grocery store just down the street (and Bónus and Krónan a little bit further in the other direction). It's close to the tourist portion of downtown without being too close (I personally would not want to stay in the touristy heart of Laugavegur). It's also incredibly quiet; I didn't hear a single other guest the entire time I was there. Staff were also very helpful via the online chat. This place is extremely accessible by transit (Strætó), and there are generally a few Hopp scooters waiting around the entrance. Check-in and checkout were effortless and all done via emails sent to me automatically.

There's actually very little I would improve. I happened to be there during some of the hottest weather of the past two years apparently, and not having A/C was a slight issue — but I could see why otherwise it would never be needed. The only other thing I didn't love was that there's no fan in the bathroom, so when you take a shower the entire unit becomes humid. For the amount of space you get in a single room, I also felt that the price was a bit steep, but it seems like everything in Iceland is just expensive.

the room needs either brighter lightbulbs or couple additional lamps, it's very cosy and atmospheric but a bit too dark. Could also do with a bedside shelf even if very small. Location is great if planning to do loads of daytrips/have rental car, but might be a bit too far to walk to/from the downtown for some people, especially in winter weather.

The room was lovely and had fully working kitchen. The location is a little out of the city but still close enough to walk in taking around 25mins to bus stop 13.

Too many emails regarding check in. The check in process is ok but not straight forward and not ideal for people not as comfortable with all information on their phones. Would be better suited for people that have hired a car.

The rooms are clean and nice. Equipped with oven/microwave, coffee maker, stove and dishwasher. It’s self check in but instructions are very clear and we are able to enter after midnight. Free parking near the hotel is a big plus. We had no trouble finding parking space in the 5 day trip. It’s a short drive to the city center if you come by car. There’s also bus around that’s every convenient.

We overall really enjoyed the stay. There are only minor things. Bathroom sink a bit small. Check out by 10am it’s really early. There’s no daily cleaning but the instructions say that there’s more towels in the cabin, which ran out. But luckily I ran into a cleaning staff and asked for more towel. That was not a problem.

Great location regarding distance to the town centre (one bus) as well as pick-up locations for excursions. We rented a car and free parking was an amazing perk. I would recommend this hotel and would stay again. I found the decor to be edgy and cool with its dark colours. We had an amazing view of the snowy mountains from our room (Our room was facing the car park!).

I would have loved to have the opportunity to have breakfast or even a coffee downstairs but I was not sure how this worked. I kept on forgetting to ask staff on the chances that I managed to see someone!

Had very comfortable beds. Reasonably quiet location, private, dishwasher and tablets, coffee and tea and everything needed to make breakfast, snacks and simple dinners. Blackout curtains were good. Shower was amazing, toiletries good quality. Convenient door codes. Big windowsills to place toiletries and our stuff, and one shelf above bed. Dishwasher was welcome and good communication with the staff via messages.

Complicated oven and hob and lack of storage but we worked around it. Tv a bit limited for English speakers.

Property is so nice, modern with small, well equipped kitchen. Bathroom is also clean and nice. Bed is so comfortable. We arrived late at night, around 1:30am and self check in was easy to do. We stayed for 3 nights. It is close to city center, 5 mins by car and close to big supermarkets. Overall it was a nice stay.

The only thing that was super bad was the internet. We haven’t had any for 3 days. So if you do not have your own mobile data, this could be a problem. On the 2nd day we contacted the property asking for Internet and they gave us the password for some other network that also wasn’t working. That’s why overall rate is 8/10

The accommodation is a little bit outside of downtown Reykjavik (10 min bus drive or 45 min walk). I was a solo traveller in Iceland and I felt very safe in the city. I had a dishwasher, a mini fridge and an oven in the room. The room was very clean when I entered. I also loved that there was tea in the room if I wanted to use it and there was a lot of washing products. Overall I loved staying here and I would book again if I return to Iceland.

I specifically like a dark aesthetic, but its not for everyone. It can be quite dark in the room without a lot of lights on. And also the tv cable did not work, but Netflix worked perfectly which was more convenient for me :)

A fantastic self catering apartment in a great hotel. We enjoyed the spacious main bedroom with a well equipped kitchen. The kitchen area had a great microwave oven where we could cook many things. We could also heat up anything necessary. We had a kettle and toaster with a generous jar of percolate coffee and another jar of herbal and black tea. We had a large refrigerator with a good spacious freezer compartment which we made use of, for making good meals. There was a dishwasher too, but we hand washed the provided cutlery and plates etc by hand. The bed was very large and comfortable with many room lights available to create a pleasant atmosphere. The shower area was outstanding with a fantastic shower head and smaller portable shower head, lower down. Everything was very clean and well maintained. The cleaning staff were very good, who daily cleaned up our room space, emptying bins and washing anything that we never got round to doing, including changing the towels when necessary and providing more toilet paper when we were running low. The entrance lobby to the hotel is well laid out like a restaurant bar, with comfortable sofa seats and pleasant background music. The owners and staff running the place were very helpful and welcoming. The hotel is only a mile or two from the city centre, with many shops, including supermarkets and restaurants along the way in both directions around the hotel. I would recommend this hotel to anyone if you like self catering, a very comfortable stay and great location for the city in general.

Not much to say really, only that the room door numbers are tiny on the door frames and not on the door. The top hub part of the electric/microwave oven cooker did not work for us as there were no instructions, but after working out the oven part of the cooker, we managed to do everything with the oven instead.
