Our room was beautiful, overlooking the mountains, sea! Spa was great, traditional sauna was very nice! People at the front desk were helpful, friendly. The price was reasonable. This was our 2nd time staying here, and we enjoyed it as much or more than the first time! The coffee shop behind the hotel was awesome, delicious oreo frappaccino type blended drink (Kaffee Tee?).

It would have been nice if the spa was open later at night and earlier in the morning, so we could have used it every day! Our room didn't have a single chair which was kind of strange. It had a couch, but when we had visitors, we all had to sit on the couch. Ice was hard to come by (athough we did work out a system where we were able to get it from the breakfast people). It would be nice if they had more of a store onsite.

I really enjoyed my stay and am looking forward to staying again. What I really appreciated about my stay: It was very clean The 24 hour reception had actual staff present in person The bed was very comfortable I loved the wireless phone chargers on the nightstand The room was lovely and warm There was loads of free parking I was very happy about the mini fridge, the mirrors and the large window in the room I would suggest they update the tv to a smart tv that I can sign-in to own my streaming services/netflix or use Chromecast as the tv channel reception was very poor and often unwatchable. Overall it was an excellent stay.

The room was very clean and was kept clean throughout our stay. The Wifi worked very well. The staff were very friendly and helpful. As guests we had access to the spa, which was very lovely!! The check-in/check-out process was very easy. And parking was very easy!

The location is somewhat far from the main city centre or tourist destinations I was interested in (I stayed at this hotel for a conference nearby). Still, there are so many transportation options (cab, bus, scooters) that it was not bad! Just want to note that if you want to be close to the hustle and bustle of the main street (bars/restaurants), this location would not be ideal.

Fabulous hotel. Honestly, the staff are amazing, particularly the reception ladies and the conceirege desk. Super helpfl and always smiling. Rooms were clean and nice, they have a decent gym and really nice spa. Spa access is not always included with the booking so do check as this is something not to miss out on. I didnt have the chance to try the breakfast so cannot comment on this. It is around 15 mins walking distance from the center, and most of the tours do pick ups from this hotel location as well, which is great.

Clean and new looking place, wonderfully designed. Room had plenty of space and I appreciated being able to buy fruit at the front desk. Also the staff helped us book our ride back to the airport at the end of our trip, that was great.

We were there in August. Even though it was beautiful outside and still cool enough temps outside to sleep. The windows did not let enough air into the room and the room was warm. Likely not an issue the rest of the year but I did not expect to need my travel fan in Iceland. I say this as a person who prefers warm weather, I can sleep in 22C/72F temps. A fan would have solved this

Staff was super friendly and eager to help. They even offered us a free voucher to visit the inhouse spa. Breakfast was incredible. A wide variety of options including cereal, baked goods, fruit, toast, cheeses & your classic bacon and eggs. The food was always fresh and the attentive staff always ensured it never ran out. Close by to several bus stops making it easy access to the city.

It was pretty perfect! Super clean, comfortable rooms and smooth check in/out process. Had no issues at all and was very happy with everything provided. Staff were lovely and helpful. Location was great with buses nearby and a nice walking route to the city centre also nearby if you are up for a longer walk along the shore. Very handy free on-street parking available right outside the hotel. Very easy to access main roads for driving out of the city on day trips etc.

I would have loved to go for the hotel breakfast but it was just so expensive. We had to go with alternatives, but food in general in Iceland is super expensive so it's not just this hotel.

The staff very welcoming from the first moment. the room was clean, towels fresh, all the facilities were there. Very comfortable bed, quiet area. The spa was pleasant with hot water to get yourself warm after a day of sightseeing. Brilliant food in the Hekla restaurant!

The spa facilities were great, just not enough space for more than 4 people to have some rest after sauna or sitting in the hot tub. There are only 4 seats.

Bart at reception was so friendly and accommodating, helping us organise spa access and a late checkout. The lobby and the room were clearly recently renovated and had a great modern vibe. The room had a kettle and free coffee and tea which is always appreciated. I also heartily enjoyed the hot tub, heated pool and cold plunge in the spa, which was very modern and dimly lit in the most relaxing way. Despite missing breakfast, the hotel went out of its way to accommodate us with lunch at the spa and I had a delicious burger before checking out. Parking was free and plentiful.

The bathrooms were quite dated compared to the bedroom and there was a bit of a strange smell.

Welcoming staff. Well sized room comfy beds, bathtub. Nice restuarant, tasty food and nice atmosphere. Breakfast has the standard diversity of hot meal, pastries, eggs and ham and some fruit. Tours come for pickup, so better choose tours directly from companieis and booking sites than the hotel.

Spa area has restricted work hours, i.e. closing at 8 pm, but actually at 7:45, so hard to combine with day tours and it's quite small. Coffee quality at breakfast could be better.
