Comfortable, clean, bright living room with a balcony, and equipped with couch, armchair, tables, clothes rack, TV set and a decent sized kitchenette. You will find there a coffee-maker (coffee capsules and tea bags are also provided), toaster and electric kettle, stovetop and lots of cutlery, tableware, cookware, tea towel, kitchen rolls and cleaning utensils. The bedroom area is a bit cramped, but the beds and pillows are comfy enough for a good sleep. Bathroom is good sized with a small window, and the walk-in shower is equipped with containers for shampoo, conditioner and body wash. The building is located in a quiet street, with good bus connections, only two blocks away from the main commercial area in Reykjavik and, last but not least, one of the many public swimming pools in the city is almost across the street. Self check-in is pretty straightforward once you received the door codes. The staff will also provide you with a Property Guide full of detailed information, instructions and tips (I went to the self-service laundromat and it was great) and they’re always available for questions or needs.
Nothing really. I spent five lovely days there. If I am however allowed to make a few suggestions, the following would be some points to take into account. As others pointed out, a microwave will be welcome. Mainly because most of visitors won’t come to Iceland to cook their own food. With so many ready meals available in supermarkets, all they need is a microwave. Besides, this could also save the provision of pots and pans – a basic rule: less of them provided, less of them broken or damaged. In the same line, there is no need to offer 6 pieces of tableware (dishes, glasses, wineglasses, cups, etc.) for a 2-person apartment. Remember the basic rule above. Useful items to add: a milk jug, a can opener, and a pair of scissors in the kitchen – a few holders or hook racks in the bathroom.

The location - strict centre of the city, few minutes from Hallgrimskirkja, even closer to the bus stops, great connections in any direction. The property - clean, tidy, with everything you might need (unless you had a dream of a frozen lasagne from the oven, since there was no oven in the apartment :p glad I realized it before going to the store, not after, but it's absolutely not a minus- nobody promised me an oven!). Plenty of restaurants around, don't miss the PLANTAN (Coffee/Kaffihús) located on the corner - they serve the.best.cake I have ever eaten, and my partner is into baking, so she's not only picky, but we have to try sweets from local bakeries everywhere we travel. The beds were comfortable, the sofa also - to sit and watch some TV or plan the trip with my partner; porcelain cups and plates looked very neat. The bathroom was quite big, as well as the shower compartment, and O don't understand the tiny sink basin fashion, but this one was good enough to brush your teeth without spilling water all over the floor around. Absolutely nothing to complain about, I'm satisfied, really good value for the money. Oh! The shower gel, shampoo and conditioner provided were of really good quality!
if have to find something, the shower curtain could have been a bit shorter ;-)

Location is great - 7 mins walk to the Main Street with restaurants, bars, supermarket. 14 mins walk to the BSI station so no need to pay the extra bus fee from airport. 3 mins walk to bus stop 9 for collection for trips. Communication from the property was excellent. Very responsive at all times with questions leading up to the trip and during. Kitchen is well enough equipped to make a simple eggs and bacon breakfast etc. Good shower pressure and temp for warming up after a cold day.
The apartment gets hot and you have to open a window to let heat out (this is the Icelandic way) but it did mean a little noise from outside when sleeping Please put a second pillow for the guests in the bedroom for more comfort. The sofa in the apartment is a sofa bed. It’s not comfortable to ‘chill’ on! This didn’t bother us too much - we were busy exploring!!

The check in process is very smooth that the door codes (main door and room code) are sent to your email and via text message before you arrive. As this is a self-catering apartment, it provides enough cookware and dishes, plus a Nespresso machine get through the day. Not to mention that it's very convenient for accessing food shops like Bonus, if you don't want to eat out every night, then this is the best supermarket (within 10min walk) you need. Lastly, you can see Northern lights clearly from the top floor's balcony, which we managed to see some in October after 12pm.
The shower space is slightly small compare to the overall size of the bathroom. Also the shower curtain blows inwards as it gets warm. So when you are taking the shower you have to constantly adjust the place you stand to avoid curtain sticking to the skin. Apart from this, the apartment is like more like an B&B which you need to put everything back to its own place, and do some cleaning before you check out.

We recently stayed at Apartment Saga Studious by Heimaleiga in Reykjavík and were absolutely delighted with our experience. The location was superb, putting us within easy walking distance of many of the city's top attractions, restaurants, and shops. We particularly enjoyed the proximity to Hallgrimskirkja. The apartment itself was spacious, cozy, well-equipped, modern, clean. We were especially impressed with the balcony, which offered breathtaking views of Hallgrimskirkja. It was the perfect spot to relax and enjoy the Icelandic atmosphere.

The location of the apartments is great if you're wanting quick access to downtown, restaurants, and shops. We didn't use any kitchen items but they were there for our use.
We stayed during an unusually warm spring week. The room was very hot even with the heater turned off. Leaving the balcony door open was one way to fight the heat but let in sounds and cigarette smoke. May be nice in the winter but it was uncomfortable with the heater set to 0.

I had a great stay at Saga Studios which was located at the excellent location, just a few minutes walk to the bus stop and the shopping street though the environment was quiet. The apartment was well-equipped as well as the responsive and helpful staff team. Self check in went smooth because of the clear instructions.
I lived in 02 Steinn. The lighting was so dark. It’s difficult for me to read in the room. Moreover, I had to cook in the dimness.

Perfect appartment situated at very central locations just 2 minutes away from main touristic street and supermarkets. It was very well equipped has a spacious balcony with a great view, we have even saw norhern lights twice.
I hope they will manage to fix account hacking issue, because I've recieved a lot of spam messages from hackers requesting to confirm booking, which caused a bit of stress.

I recently had a delightful stay at the Saga studios, and I can't praise the staff enough for making it comfortable. Kamilia, Elitza and Michaela were not only accommodating but also incredibly helpful and understanding. The cozy and warm studio, the perfect location enhanced our experience, making it a pleasant stay. The studio itself was well-maintained, providing a comfortable and inviting atmosphere. I highly recommend this place for anyone seeking a positive and enjoyable accommodation experience in Reykjavik.
There was dust under the beds which made us feel that the studio was not properly cleaned.

Super great location! 5 min walk from the Main Street and the center, very quiet neighborhood- which is really essential as anything that’s closer to the Main Street; gets way too loud at night with drunk teens
Very early checkout 10am and late checkin 3pm. Paying an extra 30 euro to leave at 12 is a bit much. Also, cleaning happens super early in the morning and staff get really load with cleaning which makes it impossible to sleep!
