Location proximity to center of town, and the extra space in comparison to just a regular hotel. Additional sell was the fact that it would have a washer and dryer.

Dryer wasn't working so everything I washed, I had to attempt to hang dry. Hard to do in Reykjavik weather. Laundry room was a bit messy.. And coming from a place that uses a/c normally, it takes getting use to having to open the windows for cooler air to come in. Window to bedroom is literally by people's feet on sidewalk so had to be ingenious to get both ventilation and privacy. Last suggestion: Get safety tape ( black and yellow stripes) and place on staircase edges on the bottom floor. It's a little dim in lighting and could be a fall hazard. Otherwise, the space met all rest of the expectations.

I picked this property because of its location and because it advertised itself as having a laundry room with laundry detergent provided. We arrived at 13:30 and the lady we spoke to, Alexandra, said it was okay to check in as the apartment was already cleaned. That was very nice of her.

The code for the laundry room door was not provided in the welcome email, which meant I had to call Astro to get the code. Then, there was no detergent in the laundry room as advertised, requiring another call (we had laundry to do because we had spent a week horse riding in the north of Iceland). Next, we couldn't find the box of detergent after we were told the manager had dropped it off (there were several bottles of cleaning products there but no laundry detergent). Via yet another call, we determined it was put behind a bag of folded sheets on top of the washing machine (somewhat well hidden rather than easy to find). Alexandra was very helpful through it all but it seemed a lot of hassle just to get laundry done.

The apartment was really beautiful, well kept and super comfortable. Home from home! It felt cosy and made us want to spend more time in the property, the sleep and storage space was 10/10 too!

The only negative would be the eggy smell from the shower. I know you can’t avoid it in Iceland but we stayed in two other places and the smell wasn’t a fraction as bad in those. It made us quite uncomfortable when quickly showering and the smell lingered for a long time. The stairs weren’t a problem for us and are worth it to get to the apartment!

Very nice modern apartment centrally located

It's a 5th floor apartment in a building without lifts. Not suitable for guests with mobility issues or very heavy luggage. Please advertise this on the booking so guests can be aware. Other than that, great apartment.

It was nice having our own space. This was for a quick overnight, so can't say I put this place through its paces, but location was really good, and having access to a kitchen and living space separate from the bedroom was useful as we repacked for the flight.

There wasn't a lift so dragging a lot of suitcases would have been more difficult. And PARKING was a pain, but its a pain all over Reykjavik. A quick note of useful parking garages might be helpful rather than just looking for a street with an open parking spot with the payment app.

Very pretty and good sized. The large picture window was awesome to watch over the busy neighborhood. Location was great right at beginning of tourist area at opposite end of where cruise ships are. If you are taking a bus tour they can pick you up around the corner at bus stop #9/Snorrbraut. Lovely place. Kitchen was handy for cooking and reheating.

Apartment was up three flights in a narrow stairwell which could be difficult for some but didn’t bother us. 10am is pretty early for a check out

As it looks in the pictures or better. Soft comfortable bed, good blackout curtains in the bedroom. Quick and no fuss check in with codes. Position is really good at one end of the city center and it was still possible to park relatively easy.

Our apartment was in fourth floor and it is not clearly communicated. The stairs are small and it is difficult to navigate the entry door even with medium sized bag. No sugar and no complimentary tea was a bit of a disappointment given the well furnished kitchen and the coffee machine with coffee available.

Nice and warm apartment, kitchen equipped with everything needed (but a microwave). There is a common laundry room in the basement containing 3 washing machines(detergent is also there) and ironing facilities.

Our apartment was on the 4 floor without evevator and the stairs were narrow and steep.

Spotlessly clean and well looked after. Amazing location in the centre of the city, close to free parking. Had all the facilities for a comfortable stay.

The apartment is on the 4th floor, the stairs are very narrow, so it was challenging to carry our luggage upstairs.
