Everything. Location was great and can walk to everything. Main bus terminal is a 20 minute relaxed walk. There are supermarkets not even 5 minute walk. Rooms were clean & the bed was the comfiest I have slept in. Couldn’t hear noise from neighbouring rooms. Shower was 10/10. Tv with English channels (if you’re into that sort of thing) Breakfast was great, plenty of options, bar was good for drinks (we didn’t eat in the restaurant for dinner but looked cosy and really nice) Staff were so friendly. Got hot drinks and pastries ready for us as they knew we were checking out at 5:30am so would miss breakfast service. They have a service where you can ask them to wake you up in the night if they see the auroras over the town, so you don’t miss it while sleeping. Near reception there is a free Iceland guidebook with has maps and vouchers inside for restaurants & things to do.

This is a fantastic hotel in the perfect location in Reykjavik. It is situated at one end of Laugavegur Road, the main street in the city, it is also a short distance to walk to Hlemmur bus stop (easy bus ride to Sky Lagoon) and it is right next to Bus Stop 9 (for activity pickups / drop offs). The staff are friendly and helpful. The room was spacious, clean, warm and comfortable. A decent breakfast is included. I would highly recommend this hotel and would gladly stay again next time I visit Reykjavik.

Amazing hotel just a stone's throw from the city centre. The staff have all been so friendly and polite too. The room was a superior double and was just perfect. Had everything we needed, a comfortable bed, a perfect shower and huge bath, very modern TV with plenty of UK TV channels. The bus stop #9 is right outside the hotel which makes it very easy to get on tours and local busses. 10/10 definitely will stay here again when we're next in Iceland

The breakfast selection was very limited considering this is a 4-star hotel. Would have been nice to have bacon, sausage and fried eggs as well as a wider cereal selection. Having said that, the staff and food that was available was perfect.

Nice, clean hotel right in the center of the city. It is located in a popular shopping street where you could do your souvenir shopping. The hotel also has private parking, which you can request at the reception. The breakfast was nice, enough to get you fueled up for an exciting day of exploration.

It’s near the main attractions, located on the high street of Laugavegur . Bus stop no.9 is just outside the hotel, easy for those who booked day/ night trips . On our departure day I wasn’t aware that we have to book the Flybus to the airport. The receptionist tried to book for us but was not possible as very late booking . He arranged for a taxi to take us to the bus station and we took the flybus to the airport from there. I forgot his name but thank you very much for your help! Also they put out croissants, tea and coffee facilities by reception for guests who had to leave early in the morning. That was so thoughtful. The staff were friendly and helpful.

Centers hotel met all of our needs. Right downtown with short walks to all the best spots. The price was affordable for Iceland and the breakfast was the shining star!

I run a travel company and send groups to Iceland every year I've been to Iceland many times and stayed at various hotels in Reykjavik for a night or two. I look for good location and good value. I was very happy with the Laugavegur hotel. The room size was great, the beds very comfortable and a BIG bonus was that the Superior room had a bathtub and really nice bath products. I will definitely reccomed this hotel in the future!

The only small thing - we purchased room plus breakfast, but had to depart before 7am for out flight. We were offered only coffee and a small croissant. It would have been great to have received a slightly better to go breakfast.

The breakfast was quite good. There was enough variety It was always well stocked. The breakfast crew was very attentive. There was enough space to sit every time we were there. The personnel was very friendly. Max at the front desk always asked about our day and helped us get around. The night shift gentleman was also so nice. He had a breakfast option for us on our departure day as we left very early.

My room was super small. But honestly, it was my own fault because I was focusing on the size of the bed and not the room. So, lesson learned. We were so happy with the vacation that small room was not a deal breaker. We were only in the room to sleep and shower.

Based upon American standards the room was very small. There wasn't anywhere other than the bed where we could unfold our suitcase, not even the floor. Our bed was two, twin beds pushed up against one another which was uncomfortable. The pillows were small and uncomfortable. However, for our purpose of sightseeing the location was great. The bus dropped us off and picked us up right outside the door. And, each of our tours also picked us up and dropped us off outside our door. Though breadfast was included it mainly consisted of fruit and bread. There were two kinds of meat, bacon and sausage and though most people may have found both fine, neither my wife or I enjoyed either. All in all, if we were going back we would probably stay there again but there were areas that we felt could have been improved.

This is centrally located to most of the hot spots we were interested in. Everything was about a 20 minute leisure walk. The best part is that the tour bus stops are literally right outside the door!! I wish I knew that before I got there, but the surprise was special.

Parking instructions are a bit unclear. When I booked the room I thought we had free parking, but then I received an email that I included a note that there was no parking. I then emailed asking for clarification and was told there is no parking available. We parked in a garage overnight (that charges non stop), and only after the first day and $30 in fees later did we find out there is "limited" parking spaces available, you just have to as the front desk.
