Everything. The location was perfect and it helped that meeting point for trips was outside-number12 bus stop. Breakfast was excellent plenty of choice and the meal we had in garden bar was lovely. Staff very helpful and did their best to ensure we enjoyed our stay, I had asked if possible could we be allocated a room with a view as it was my husbands birthday . Not only did they oblige but we were delighted to find the card and complimentary plate of fruit and treats left in our room .

Absolutely no complaints

Location, breakfast was good but it could have been better if they have different types for different days. We stayed 3 nights and it’s the same breakfast each day except they change one item. The coffee station was only one and usually a big line with so many people at the buffet breakfast. That would work with limited people but we are all in a rush to get going for the day. I would also recommend to have a water station to fill in our bottles rather than inconveniencing someone from the bar to fill it for us when we can get it ourselves or provide water inside the room would be great.

I would appreciate if the staff at the front desk were more friendlier and welcoming to all the guests and I see different approach with different people and color. We are all paying customers and appreciate equal treatment. Even if it’s fake. Personal feeling is different with business.

The reception, bars, restaurants and the communal areas are really lovely and spacious. The location is excellent and the trips pick up at the bus stop right outside. The town is just a short walk away. We stayed on a tower room over looking the sea which gave beautiful views.

The rooms are dated and are need of a revamp. The double room has two beds pushed together and are very hard and we had to ask for a mattress topper which made it more comfortable.

Breakfast was excellent, great selection and all I could want. Very good coffee too. Location was ideal. Bus transfers and trips were to the door due to Bus Stop 12 being right outside. Easy walk to the harbour and downtown and, in the other direction, to the ferry port (we took the 5 minute ferry ride to Videy Island). Room was hot so we kept the window open at night, glad I had ear plugs as there was sometimes road noise.

We had a room on the 7th floor with a great view that was marred because the window was so dirty outside. I realise the windows won’t be easy to clean though so not a big deal just a shame. Worth a trip in the lift to the 16th floor for an even better and clear view out of the window.

Breakfast was good, lots of choice. Bus stop 12 right outside so convenient for tours. Rooms get quite hot and window only opens a small amount. Tip, don't remove key card when leaving as the window automatically closes when you remove the card

Rooms were very warm and window only opened a small amount and if you kept it open during night you could hear all the buses and pick ups which can be frustrating

The sea view of the room was fantastic and you could stay in the room to watch the sunset. The room was spacious and clean. The Bus Stop No. 12 is right downstairs and it is convenient for pickup of most of the tours and airport transfer.

The breakfast was amazing! A wonderful variety of hot food, pastries, cold food and fruit. There were enough options that no one should go hungry. And everything I had was delicious. The staff was excellent about cleanup and lots of seating. We also enjoyed the beer garden. Neither my husband nor I drink, but the food was quite tasty and super convenient. It bath tub was wonderful. It was lovely to take a hot bath after a day of sightseeing. The location allowed us to see lots of things in just a few hours.

It would have been nice if the breakfast time had gone on a bit later.

Room was very nice and clean. The staff were friendly and answered our many questions. The hotel was in an area within walking distance to shops, restaurants, and a food market.

There was no air conditioning. Even though Iceland is generally cool/cold, our room was hot at times. We only had a very small window we could open to get cool air.

The breakfast is better than avarege, but the selection could be wider. I missed the diet jam. Patrcia at the reception was very kind, she helped me a lot.

There is a machine room (probably for ventillation) in each floor, opposite to room x25 (on that floor). The rooms around this machine room are noisy. Moreover, rooms at one side of the building are noisy due to draft, when the wind is strong outside (which happens in Iceland often).

Location, food service and staff were excellent

Elevators are narrow and long, which makes getting people on and off the elevator difficult. In the mornings, from the 5th floor, the elevators were all full of people, and we ended up walking down to the lobby. The rooms were warm without thermostats, so we opened the small window, which helped cool the room; however, we had to leave one key in the electric switch when we left the room, or the room would get too warm again.
