Exemplary front desk staff Rachel exceeded already high expectations from earlier visits. Everything was organized for me on arrival according to personal preferences she remembered and her genuinely warm and thoughtful welcome, together with her great personality, made a valuable contribution to my stay. She offered insightful suggestions that made my day and visit run smoothly and couldn't have been more helpful. The original hotel building housed a bank, but even with it's unique Tower addition and it's individual character, the real treasure at One King West today is the staff. Exceptional service at an exceptional, one-of-a-kind hotel. Many thanks for a great stay!

We liked that the hotel had a gym and hot tub that were both almost never occupied. The bed was comfortable and the room view was great! Small kitchen is a nice addition to the room for a quick meal reheat or drinks. The biggest plus is a location in the downtown Toronto!

The lighting in the room could be better, the bedroom did not have any overhead lightning what was very inconvenient especially in the late evening/night. Also, the bathroom is very small and the door opens inside what makes the sink hard to use (might be different in other rooms though). Additionally, the staff downstairs next to the elevator entrance area was a little rude/acted bothered when we needed further assistance with hotel directions/room keys drop off upon checkout.

The suite was excellent with lovely views of the bay and over the city , especially on a clear night. The staff were very helpful and friendly and the bar area in the foyer was lovely. The location is ideal with downtown Toronto and the market areas all within a 10-20 minute walk .Also direct access to the PATH which means you can walk to Union Station without going outside if weather is not great ams also saves negotiating busy city streets with luggage.

ur stay at One King West was fantastic! The room was stunning, and the decor perfectly complemented the historic charm of the hotel. But the real stars were the valet staff—PHENOMENAL! Muhammad and Franz went above and beyond, not only handling our bags with care but also saving me from a potential headache by noticing a missing pair of boots before we left—such a lifesaver, especially with less than three hours to get ready for the Kylie Minogue concert! I had the best sleep in a long time, with a great view to top it off. Huge thanks to the One King West team for making our stay so seamless and enjoyable!

Took a taxi from airport flat rate CAD70. We booked a deluxe room which is on the 30th floor. It is more expensive than rooms in the historical building. Did not get view of lake but of buildings around. There is a kitchen with 2 cook tops, fridge freezer, coffee machines (Starbucks capsules), tea, kettle and microwave. Staff very friendly and polite. Food at the hotel restaurant (Teller) and cafe (Rituals) were good. Reasonable price. Close to all tourist areas so walking was ideal. Pick-up point for Niagara Falls at Starbucks across the road from hotel. Michelin star restaurant Lucie less than 1 minute walk. Reasonable price for a Michelin Restaurant. Underground path to shops and cafes direct access from inside hotel. Grocery store (Longos) in the underground less than 1 minute. Toronto is an expensive city.

Did not get a room with view of lake for the price we paid.

Path access to the subway - great for the bitter cold months and you pass the vault which adds character! Friendly, helpful staff, kitchenette in room, comfortable bed, bright bathroom, Teller's bistro and bar was super. Seems to be where people start their nights which adds an exciting buzz in the atmosphere in the evenings

Had an old mystery stain on the floor, the towers area has very busy elevators, the toilet paper is in an awkward spot to reach. Didn't find the Daily Ritual cafe of good value. Overpriced, takes ages to get simple orders that don't keep you full for very long

The housekeeper saw an anniversary card that I had brought for my wife. The next day there was a plate of delicious chocolate-covered strawberries and figs waiting for us in our hotel room! How thoughtful is that? The hotel also has a nice old lobby which was used in the morning for breakfasts or in the evening for dinners and drinks. The room was also large and well-appointed with separate areas for sleeping and relaxing. When I say well-appointed, I mean it: Microwave. Stovetop. DISHWASHER. WASHER AND DRYER. This hotel is an excellent value.

The first time you enter the hotel off King Street — where the subway exits to the street — it doesn't look like a hotel. Rather, it's two doors covered with signage telling you that this is the One King West Hotel. Nothing that would make you think you're going to be staying in a nice place. To make matters worse, a wedding party was making a ton of noise when we entered the reception area before we went through a second set of doors to the reception area. So my request would be to make the entrance look more like the nice hotel it really is.

One King West Hotel is centrally located downtown and just 1-2 minutes from the Subway system which makes traveling very easy. The staff is nice and attentive and ready to assist with any of your needs. Because my stay was so nice, I decided to book once more night and received the same rate. I had a wonderful view of the Harbor Waterfront and the City Skyline. It was a wonderful stay and should I return I plan to stay here.

Elevator services were being tested which limited the number of available elevators, but I'm sure that typically traveling to your floor is quite fast. Otherwise, this was an amazing hotel with great amenities. Great location, helpful staff, and beautiful accommodations.

The location can’t be beat. It’s so convenient to everything downtown. I love the size of the rooms and the beds.

I’ve been staying at One King West for the past 10+ years and I’m definitely starting to see the wear and tear on everything in the rooms. The beds are very comfortable but the walls and furniture are scuffed and stained and the kitchenettes are in rough shape. However, the location and value are great (if you get a deal on the room). The first room we were given was not very clean at all (food still in microwave, spill on coffee table, bathtub not clean) but, I called the front desk and they quickly changed us to a much cleaner room. The staff were very good and apologetic.

Lovely room and very attentive helpful staff. Bathroom clean and spacious. Excellent for families - children were fascinated by the bank vault., Bar very pleasant and accommodating, and the food was good. Less than 10 mins to Union Station and the Subway is literally on the doorstep. CN tower and aquarium only 20 mins away on foot even for little legs

My phone, for some reason, couldn't detect the WiFi in the room but could.in the lobby oddly. The room was a little chilly but better that than too warm. Unfortunately not all the lights worked and neither did the USB outlets but there were lots of alternative sockets. The tea option in the room is quite perfume like for an Irish palate
