The hotel is in a fabulous location. It was within a short walk of lots of the sights and right at the subway. The old building has great character with the original bank vault door still in situ and a fabulous main banking hall. The gym was well equipped and it was great to have access to a sauna and whirlpool. The suite was a generous size and the bed was one of the most comfortable I’ve ever slept in!

The kitchen was not well equipped. There were two pans, one of which was a frying pan, a bottle opener, a serving spoon and a whisk. There was crockery and cutlery for two, but nothing to help make a hot meal from scratch. There was nothing to wash and dry up with when we arrived, but we were given washing up liquid, a pan scrub and tea towel when we asked. There’s no sound proofing round the suite door, so you could hear people passing in the hallway. The windows are triple glazed so there wasn’t much sound from outside.

We were unable to stay our 1st of 3 nights at the hotel due to an overbooking error, but the staff could not have been more accommodating. We were taxi'd to and from the Radisson Blu for said night and received complimentary breakfast vouchers when we returned to one king west. We also received a room upgrade when we returned. The staff could not have been friendlier or more accommodating. The night manager also provided his card should we need anything during our sray. Our room also had washer/dryer facilities - staff provided complimentary washing powder and drying sheets free of charge.

Nothing, great stay (aside from the overbooking error, but safe to say the staff more than made up for this).

We loved the whole mood of the venue, walking in to the lobby and bar felt very special. The jacuzzi itself was great . The beds were super comfy! And we loved the location, perfect for exploring Toronto, we even did a lot of it on foot!

The room we booked I understand was small for a family, but they did know who was staying there so felt it was more ready for business trip than a leisure stay, the most minimal of cutlery and plates etc in the kitchen etc. also the layout of the jacuzzi and steam rooms didn’t flow very well as you had to have shower , go out into corridor to go back in, for the men they would have to walk dripping wet past the people in the gym which doesn’t seem great. The roof terrace attached to it could have been made a bit more of a feature too, seems a huge waste the way it’s done.

Stayed 6 nights then after a week stayed 2 nights. Both times were equally good. This was a business oriented professional hotel with attentive service, and convenient location walkable from union station (and thus airport via airport train). Accessible with flat entrance where cars park and via a few steps at the opposite hotel entry. Lift to all rooms. Rooms are quiet and modern with very comfortable beds and power points by bedside. Great water pressure and easy temperature control of showers. Some towels were a little thin and should have been retired but everything was very clean. Rooms are dark so not great if you intend to stay in the room during the day but perfect for sleeping. Basic kitchenette was a nice addition to the room. Plenty of dining options and shops in the area. Great cafe on site, reasonably priced with nice coffee, pastries and hot food. Good value stay considering how expensive Toronto hotels are. Would definitely stay here again.

The staff were very good, especially in response times. Everything we asked for was provided and with a smile. The room was a great size and had a good view out to Toronto islands. The beds were comfortable, toiletries were nice, but the decor was a little dated. The room was very clean. Air conditioning turned off which is always a bonus for us as it makes us sick. Very well located in downtown.

The bathroom was small and tired and the shower wasn’t good. Hard to control the water temperature and spray. The kitchenette was sparsely stocked. Had to ask for toaster and dishwasher tablets. No cloths or towels to dry dishes. Also although it had a kitchenette and small table, there were no chairs to sit to the table and eat if you wanted to. We had a high floor, but you could still hear the noise below at times, but we slept well.

Great location and very comfy room. Really spacious and friendly staff! Aircon worked well and the tv allowed to chrome cast which was a nice edition. The shower was great, although I was under the impression we were getting a bath and shower when we booked! Shower gel, shampoo and conditioner is provided which was great and the dishwasher was a useful edition!

We had a suite with a kitchenette and there was nothing provided to wash up dishes etc, we had to ask reception to provide some dishwasher detergent (which they did very quickly and efficiently!) I felt the kitchenette could have been slightly better stocked with equipment but it wasn’t a huge issue!! Towels and sheets weren’t changed for the 6 nights we were there, they were just tidied when the cleaners came around.

The room was very spacious and it was super convenient to have a washer/dryer in the room. Having the kitchenware also helped my group a lot when we had takeout and brought it back to the hotel. The hotel was also right next to the subway and we were able to walk through the PATH to union station in about 10 minutes. Also added sauna was nice although we didn't use it often!

Unfortunately the TV in our room wasn't working fully until about the 3rd day, but they tried their best to resolve it and even offered a new room. The shower is a tad small and opens a bit strangely but it works fine :)

Excellent location, close to Eaton Centre, restaurants and nightlife. The room had adequate space for my family with a king size bed as well as a sofa bed. The kitchenette was a welcome plus and the washer and dryer a bonus. The bed was very comfortable and clean.

My only complaint was having to make a trip downstairs to collect breakfast. We were able place the order but had to pick up since there was no room service for breakfast but it was available for lunch and dinner. Additionally, I would highly recommend the towels be replaced since they were terribly discoloured.

Location excellent as can walk to UP station, main train station and bus terminal unless lots of luggage. Also walkable to harbour area and other attractions. Nice touch on tv of welcoming us personally by name. Room had view of Lake Ontario. Not all do, so worth asking for view of Lake, but may have to pay a premium. Furnishings were quality. Staff pleasant and helpful.

No free bottles of water in fridge. You might still hear road noise even on upper floors. Ear plugs always useful in all hotels and I slept ok with them in. Maybe also a dining chair to eat at the table.

Love the location! The room was spacious and clean. We found a great cafe called Dindeed on Jonge and there is a smaller version catering to all the finance workers through the square and the end of Melinda st entrance of the hotel. Easy walking to all the main attractions. Loved the vibe in the bar downstairs in the hotel

When I booked the room with an internal outlook I didn’t realise it meant you didn’t see anything. Not even a small patch of sky to see what the weather was doing - but that’s on me, made a poor choice of room the other thing that bothered me was that I had to ask for a shower cap - only shampoo, conditioner, body was and moisturizer were in the room.
