It's a lovely building, has a beautiful garden and the rooms inside are good too, Don't expect the level of a 5 star hotel, of course, this cannot be provided. But given the price, and what you get for it, it is a wonderful experience. Besides, the 5 stars hotels in Venice and Lido can actually be quite old fashioned. FOr instance, I was staying in 5 star Excelsior a year before, and I must say in hindsight that the stay at Exclesior wasn't worth it. Much happier at Stella, saving money, without many restrictions. But of course, much smaller breakfast and no gym. Oh Well.

Breakfast could be a bit bigger, bread sometimes was out and you had to ask for more quite often. Only one coffee included per person, that was a bit tight.

Me and my partner spent three nights at Villa Stella and the experience exceeded all expectations. From the moment we arrived, the staff was warm, welcoming, and went above and beyond to provide recommendations, help with transportation, and ensure we had everything we needed. The location was ideal — peacefully nestled away from the busy heart of Venice, yet just a short vaporetto ride from all the major attractions. We loved being able to explore the historic city during the day and return to the calm, beachside atmosphere of Lido in the evening. It felt like the best of both worlds. Our room was clean and spacious, at the top floor of the building, which offered lovely views of the garden. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and everything was spotless. Breakfast each morning was really good — sandwiches, eggs, fresh pastries, fruit, meats, and cheeses, with great coffee and a sunny terrace to enjoy it on. Overall, this stay in Lido made our Venice trip truly special. I wouldn’t hesitate to return or recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful, comfortable, and welcoming base to explore Venice and its surroundings.

The area was very nice, very well connected and friendly upon my arrival. Breakfast was very intimate with having them serving starting at 8am every morning as well as the items were not too heavy for a breakfast before starting off on the trip each day. I found this very warming as well as the reception helped me with identifying what was around the local area as well as where to find some places to eat or shop around. The place is down the road from one of the boat stops directly from the airport so it can be made within an hour and a half trip directly from the airport and purchasing a 3 day pass for the boat system tours that were there. The personnel cleaned very well and the space looked very welcoming to you upon your arrive with areas such as safes to secure your belongs as well.

They were not offering A/C at the time of my visit so if you got too hot, you would have to rely on the windows for cooling off your room. If you want a heavy meal, i would recommend to go down the road if you want more authentic foods during your stay.

The best breakfast we had throughout our entire trip in Italy. Delicious. Property is as shown in images and has ease of access through the ferry and the bus that comes every 10 mins and the bus schedules also align with ferry schedule, so you are never waiting more than 10 mins anywhere. Very beautiful clean island away from the very busy bustle of Venice! Would stay here again.

There are no elevators and some rooms can be on the third floor and so you will have to carry and heavy bags that you are travelling with. Otherwise, everything was great!

Absolutely loved this place! Hotel Villa Stella is a family-style mansion in Lido, a few ferry stops from Giardini. With exceptionally polite and helpful staff, comfortable beds, cosy room and awakening with a sound of a merry local cockerel, it felt shielded from the bustle of Venice but was close enough for both work and exhibition visits. No kettle or coffee maker in the room, but we could make hot drinks in the kitchen. Our breakfasts went above and beyond the usual Italian fare, with a gorgeous fresh daily buffet. Five minutes down the road is a superb pharmacy, at least two little restaurants and a well-stocked vegetable market.

I find that not many places in Italy cater to vegans, often mixing gluten-free diet with plant-based. We were offered 6-7 types of bread, 3 of them gluten-free, but there was nothing for vegans. This is easy enough to prepare for; we brought our own vegan pates and salads. But this is splitting hairs, as I really can’t fault the accommodation or the staff.

Excellent villa stay with family of 4. We stayed in Lido for 2 days to get away from the super busy Venice streets. The town is truly a hidden gem. Our stay was very pleasant. Amazing breakfast with the fantastic Mimi. Great coffee and cappachino. Elaina was also excellent with hosting and giving us great recommendations. We will definitely be back.

Ac needed to be a little stronger, other then that, it was perfect.

Quiet location on the Lido. Cosy pensione vibe. Staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast is more continental and plenty of outdoor seating in the garden. Bed was very comfortable! Room was very quiet even though it faced the road.

Perhaps the 15/20 minute walk to the main vaparetto stop. But that’s nothing to do with the hotel. The room could have tea making facilities however, on the last day we discovered the kettle was left out in the dining area for drinks.

We spent three nights at Villa Stella and had a very pleasant experience. The staff were warm and welcoming. The location was good, and while the room was clean but a bit small, the bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was tasty, with excellent coffee. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a peaceful and comfortable stay.

I like this villa, I've been there more than once and I'll definitely come back. The service is very nice. The villa is in a good place. Delicious coffee and breakfast. Very good contact. The girls are very helpful.

There is air conditioning in the room as described. But this time I couldn't use it. It was hot for me. I like to sleep at 18 degrees and I had 26 degrees in the room.

Great position, right in the heart of the island, near free parking and free beach access! The staff is so polite and welcoming, the morning meal is always fresh and tasty. The property manager is very friendly and kind! The rooms are always kept clean and tidy! We enjoyed our accommodation! We absolutely loved it!

Everything was just perfect!
