Hotel has odd policy for not allowing outside drinks and food. Not allowing outside food makes sense, but not allowing outside drinks is a bit over the top.

The hotel is generally nicely decorated and tidy, the garden is particularly charming. The staff was very polite and helpful.

The breakfast was great, the only thing missing was fresh and pickled vegetables. Also, we arrived on a day when there was a strike by public transport employees and a protest against some public policies, high-class hotels that work on quality could inform travelers arriving on that day, especially in a city like Venice where the means of travel and movement around the city are very limited.

Everything, starting with the service provided by the staff. They were very professional and friendly and always helpful. The coffee available in the lobby was very tasty! The room was amazing, we did pick the bigger one therefore we had plenty of space and we really loved the decoration. The hotel and rooms take you years back and feels like travelling in time but still at the same time everything was very clean and well maintained!

That you need to leave the key at the reception and sometimes that means you need to wait. But that was not a big trouble.

The staff were very friendly and helpful, there is a nice spread for b’fast and the location is perfect!

We had interconnecting rooms, but one of the rooms had a bit of a nasty smell

Location was amazing, lively corner with all you need arround. Lovely walking distance, 15mins till St. Mark, which we preferred, rather than using boat busses. Lots to see on the way. An extra point to the splendid, well heated pool that we used every day in between our wondering arround Venice. Our 7 year old was thrilled by it! And to mention also the evening bar by the pool, so cosy .Very pleasant stuff as well. We would definitely visit again, thank you!

One minus though regarding the breakfast! 3 mornings exactly same, tasty but very fatty standard Europian. But, not a single kind of salad, nothing! No green salad, tomatoes, paprika, cucumber or even cheap carrot or cabbage. Definitely not suitable for someone that enjoys vegetables or vegetarian. I asked if possible to get something,and they were really kind and got me baked aubergine, zucchini and paprika. Grateful for that! Hope this will be improved.

The staff--and particularly the front-desk staff--are exceptionally friendly and professional. The common areas are beautiful and well cared for. The courtyard is like an oasis in a city that doesn't have a lot of foliage otherwise. Breakfast at the Hotel Giorgione is a highlight with many delicious options, both sweet and savory. The location is great, close to many excellent restaurants, bars, and gelaterias, and within a reasonable walking distance (< one mile) of every main sight/site.

It isn't accurate to say that there is anything that we didn't like. To be fair, we liked everything about the Hotel Giorgione. It might be worth mentioning that our room, though comfortable, clean, and attractive, was not large. It is also not directly on a canal, if that is important to you. We found that its convenient location more than made up for that.

Location mid way between the station and St Marks Square. The Hotel met our expectations on the facilities offered.

No hot drinks in room, some left out in the lounge but these disappeared when we wanted to use them during the day. Not necessarily the hotel but the river taxi to the airport was arranged by them, but we had to pay the boat captain. Guess what his card machine was turned off , sorry out of battery and had to pay cash. Fortunately I had just enough Euros on me to pay him the agreed rate. He also waited at a different boarding dock than we were taken to and when we found him we had to clamber over a construction boat to where he had berthed his boat.

The hotel is beautiful, the decor is very unique and I loved it. The jacuzzi pool (which is pre booked for 1 hours use daily if you choose) was a nice way to unwind after lots of exploring! The staff were great, the gentlemen in reception and working on the bar were very helpful and happy to chat. Our room was a nice size, a single bed downstairs with a double up a flight of stairs on a balcony. The hotel's location was superb, everything was reachable on foot. The breakfast was one of the better ones we experienced whilst in italy, I think it's a european thing to not have a vast hot food selection. We enjoyed boiling our own eggs, although it took us the entirety of our stay to work out the perfect bathing time (4.5 mins for a runny yolk!). Overall I would recommend this hotel, but perhaps if you get the hard bed ask to swap rooms!

Tea and coffee facilities in the room would have been nice, I enjoy a hot drink as and when I want one. The double bed in particular was rather hard and uncomfortable, in fact it was two singles pushed together which is a pet hate of mine. Take caution when standing up in the room, we bashed our heads countless times on the ornate light fittings and beams upstairs!!

breakfast was lovely. Plenty of choice and I was offered gluten free alternatives without even asking. The waiting staff couldn't do enough. Location was excellent. Really easy to get everywhere, yet set back a bit, so was away from the hustle and bustle. Very peaceful oasis in a busy city. All staff were exceptional. Loved the pool and the relaxing courtyard. Family run business over several generations. Wifi excellent. I can be quite difficult to please when choosing hotels, but I thought this one was super.

We had an amazing time staying at Hotel Giorgione in Venice. The hotel theme was exactly how we wanted it be and rooms looked better than that in the photos. I would also like to take a moment to extend appreciation to Mr.Simone who went beyond his duties to provide us with an unforgettable experience. In addition, the staff at the breakfast were friendly and ensured our needs for children and elderly were well taken care of. Highly recommend this place.
