Very clean, staff good, food good but laid out in an area that could have been bigger given that a lot of people are only there to catch a flight and are in a hurry. We chose this property because breakfast was included and we were travelling with a child and price was acceptable. We were not going on a flight and this hotel was central to various places we were visiting and had easy access to Motorway.

Not very easy to find despite Satnav. It’s almost underneath the Motorway, close to airport and nothing nearby. Parking was £10 per night which the manager said was cheap for airport hotels.

The early breakfast was nice to catch an early flight. The room was a nice size, very clean, and really liked having the little couch with the little table. The bathroom was well designed and had lots of room for our toiletries. The staff was helpful in giving directions and answering our questions. The location was perfect to catch an early flight. Even though it was by the airport we weren’t kept awake by airplane noise. The air conditioning working well added to the comfort. They accommodated our request for rooms close together. We would certainly stay there again.

Information written somewhere about how to get ice. We did end up asking at the desk and got some from them. Also, it was a little unclear about how to purchase dinner in the restaurant area. Others also were unsure. Having a sign saying order at the bar would be helpful.

Breakfast was generous, varied and the staff manning breakfast were absolutely lovely. Reception staff were also divine and even stored a computer screen for us which was an incredible help during our move to Scotland all the way from South Africa. You can easily walk from Glasgow airport to the hotel and even leave your luggage trolley in their trolley park. Their car park is also free - big bonus in this area.

Bit hard to find if you're not from the area. There's a Holiday Inn as you leave the airport which is not the same as this hotel. It would be great if it were signposted a bit better from the airport, or if those directions were supplied to guests somehow (not sure how practical that is to do though). But other than that, for what we paid, it was absolute value for money.

Great location. Easy hotel

Fire alarm 1:30am, which was annoying but couldn't be helped. So we and a 'few' other guests proceeded to make our way down and out of the building, lots of guests peeped out of their rooms and went back in! Walking to the meeting place staff told us to go back in 🤔 we didn't along with others, but most did. Night staff were useless, didn't even bother to take a register of all guests before the fire brigade arrived. Then they turned the alarm off themselves saying everything was fine, just someone smoking in their room, but the alarm came back on....but there still should have been fire protocol, they didn't check every room, and had no authority to say everything was fine before the fire brigade got here.

The rooms are quiet, and it's just a 5-7 minute walk to the airport. The breakfast was adequate.

We were double charged for our dinner. Once on my card, once on my brother in law's card. When I pointed this out to the hotel contact, that person said that the "double charge" occurred at another Holiday Inn. First of all, we weren't aware that there even was another Holiday Inn. Second, since it was obvious that we were double charged for the same amount, the person should have taken care of it. Instead, I had to file a dispute with my Amex to get the double charge removed.

The fact the price included breakfast was great and it was a really good breakfast as well. We love a fry up and for everything we could’ve asked for. There were vending machines which is great if you fancy something late night or for your room. They have scales for weighing your luggage but there is a charge so bring change. The rooms were all you needed. Really comfy bed, the light from the TV was incredibly annoying though. Good location, quick easy 5 minute or less walk right over to the airport. Would stay again no problems.

Lightning definitely could’ve been better and the wee red light on the TV needs covered or need to be able to unplug the TV or something. Can’t say I noticed if it was easy to unplug or not but the light was irritating.

Very well located to the airport. The walk to the airport is mostly covered and there are trolleys available to carry luggage. We did not take advantage of the breakfast so we cannot rate. The showers were the best we had during our trip through Scotland and England. Despite close proximity to road and airport the rooms were very quiet. Doors are buffered so you don't hear slamming room doors. We had very good nights rest. We typically stay at Hampton Inn but we are going to consider Holiday Inn Express from now on.

This place was perfect for us!

Staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. Room was clean and it takes less than 5 minutes to be at airport security. The included breakfast spread was plentiful! So many options and I was absolutely stuffed for the rest of the day. Excellent value all around.

My only complaint was the bathroom setup (one double bed, other bedroom types may differ). Bathroom has a two way door- it closes as expected to separate the bathroom from the bedroom, but also closes in the other direction to turn the toilet into a stall. Makes sense on paper so someone can use the sink while the toilet is occupied, however in practice it leads to the door getting into the way.

I've used Holiday Inn Expresses for years and they never disappoint. This hotel is so ideally placed for the airport. It's a five minute walk from the terminal building. The staff here were really friendly which is maybe surprising in a hotel with such a high turnover of one night guests. The bed was exceptionally comfortable. I could have spent all day in the shower. The bathroom and bedroom and linen were all spotless. The breakfast buffet was very good too.

The folding shower door is the sort that could quite easily injure any part of your anatomy unless you take great care.

Very well located for the airport …just a five minute walk to the terminal. Despite closeness to airport, we were not disturbed by planes landing/taking off. The rooms were small but clean and functional for an overnight stay prior to departure. Price was very good and included breakfast. Staff were extremely helpful.

Would not recommend eating in the restaurant. Breakfast was fine but the evening meal was not good ..chips in particular were awful and tasted like reheats. Bar was very expensive.
