Great location on the lake and a few minutes walk from the centre

Breakfast the same every morning. Could do with a bit of variety. Also the bedding was not changed at all during our week long stay.

Great hotel in a great location overlooking the lake and within easy walking distance to the centre of the town. We ate in the hotel restaurant several times and found the selection and quality of the food very good, the pizza was one of the best we have eaten. The room was a bit quirky with steps up and down to the bathroom and the balcony but it was spotlessly clean and comfortable. All the staff were very pleasant and very helpful, nothing was too much trouble, the front desk organised a taxi back to the station which arrived spot on time. Would definitely return to this hotel.

Pool area is lovely and right on the side of the lake. Rooms are a decent size. Good air conditioning. Location is perfect. Less than 5 minutes to bus stops, ferries and the centre of town. Staff are amazingly friendly and helpful. Decent range of food for breakfast and the view from the breakfast room is beautiful.

Staff on reception, and especially the restaurant and bar staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. Although the pool was not large, it never felt crowded - and (even visiting in August peak), there were always sunbeds available. Location right on the seafront was ideal; just on the edge of the town, so only a 5 minute stroll along the front to the harbour and the town with plenty of small restaurants and bars. Desenzano is a lovely little town, a great place to spend a few days.

It was a bit warm in the breakfast room, even early in the morning which was slightly uncomfortable. But that's about the only negative thing we can think of!

Positives -very good location. We were very lucky (thank you hotel Estee) to have a huge terrace overlooking the lake which was stunning with fabulous views. Restaurant food particularly good and bar staff excellent . The swimming pool was refreshingly cold and generally quiet . Breakfast included and a good choice of continental and English style produce. No more than a 10 minute walk into town. Would I stay again -most definitely

Negatives -Breakfast staff slightly surly on occasions and it would be better to have plastic glasses round the pool. Bathrooms need updating .

The location was awesome, right by the water. The room was a reasonable size and the facilities were good. The breakfast was amazing! And great to have a pool and restaurant on site. Staff were helpful.

Just could be noisy some nights with people hanging around directly under our windows.

The location was right at the lakeside. It was a short walk by the lake to the town and harbour. we had a superior lake view room with a large terrace.The view was one of the most spectacular and beautiful I have ever experienced in a hotel in my life. The hotel had an old world quality that was pleasant. Breakfast was good.The restaurant is outside the hotel, but lunch and dinner was served inside on a day we had a terrible tropical storm.

Nothing really. The shower door was a bit flimsy and rattley.

We had a ground floor room with a lake view which was stunning. Convenient for the local station & close to all the restaurants & cafes.

Some of the staff on reception had very limited English language skills which created confusion when we tried to book a taxi prior to departure, as we were traveling by train & needed to be at the station for a specific time, this was very stressful. The breakfast options were limited for a 4* hotel. No glasses in the bedroom only a plastic cup each, again a surprise for a 4* hotel.

Great location and super friendly staff. Excellent choice at the breakfast buffet. Only a short walk alobg the Lake into Desenzano del Garda with access to the ferries. Staff on reception very helpful and the team on the bar outside great.

We were in room 4, large room and fantastic view across the lake but the shower (which was excellent) was in the bath so a big step to get in and out.

Staff were very friendly and helpful. Good selection of cold breakfast items and fantastic views from hotel to lake. Pool area very nice.

Rooms were a bit dated. Hot breakfast normally cold or warm at best. Bit disappointing to have to pay a large supplement for a late check out.
