It was such a homely feeling, nestled so close to the train station, the centre and the market so close by. We walked everywhere. Roberta was so welcoming and even let us check-in much earlier as the room was ready, which was brilliant. The room was very clean and spacious enough, the whole B & B was kept very clean and always smelling so fresh. Breakfast was lovely, nicely laid out with variety of options. Fresh coffee was delicious and Roberta was always quick to come over and ask if we wanted more coffee. I also loved how the teas/herbal teas were always accessible for consumption at other times too. We also tried out 2 of the recommended restaurants within walking distance and loved them both. I would recommend La Villa Desenzano to everyone and we would not hesitate to book again.

Some guests were talking very loudly at 6am, the noise was coming from upstairs, although quiet times were 10pm - 7am. Nothing that Roberta could have done about it though.

I will call La Villa Desenzano a home because that is just what it felt like and what a beautiful home it is. Every bedroom is beautifully decorated (our party had 4 out of the 6 available) and has everything you may want. A few have their own private terrace but if yours doesn't there is plenty of outdoor space to sit on sunny days. Everything is beautifully kept and, whilst the owner Roberta, is not there to greet you on arrival, she is but a phone call away if you need any help. Roberta is there in the mornings for breakfast which is the usual continental fare with fresh pastries and homemade cakes. I particularly recommend Roberta's orange cake for a breakfast treat. Apart from being a beautiful place to stay, La Villa Desenzano is a short walk from the town centre and the lake side. There is also ample parking.

We were in room 4 which had a massage shower. However there were no instructions and we couldn't work out how to use it.

Roberta our host was very attentive, friendly and helpfuly nothing was an issue. Our room was ready early which helped us enjoy most of the arrival day touring the lake. Secure parking was good and the Villa was only a couple of mins walk to the harbour and pedestrianised tourist spots/shopping. Plenty of advice on where to shop and eat with some discount on certain restaurants. We tried Antica Hostaria de Citta as they make their own pasta and the food was excellent and not expensive. Checking out and being able to leave the car in the secure drive up to 16.00 gave us the freedom to tour some more of the town and relax before heading back to the airport. Excellent place to stay and if we are back at Lake Garda I know where we will be staying. Thank you Roberta for a great stay.

No issues with La Villa it was what we expected and more.

The apartment is in a great location, just a couple of minutes walk to the main lake front area. It’s spacious with great aircon. Beds are comfy. It’s quite a quiet apartment. The hotel owners were lovely. The hotel is a 5 minute walk up the hill if you need them.

There was no toaster and limited towels, with the balcony area being a bit small to sit out on.

Roberta was very helpful and welcoming. Very accommodating and friendly. She was the nicest host we have had staying in Italy and made us feel at home, always helping, asking if we had a nice day and making sure we had everything we needed. The room and the whole place were very comfy and cosy, a home away from home. The rooms are lovely and clean, a great size with a comfy bed, a good modern TV. The little outside space for each room was lovely, too. The bathroom was an excellent size, and the shower was very satisfying, and very relaxing after a day of exploring. The breakfast was delicious! Lots of lovely choices. The coffees were amazing. The location was easy to find, close to food places, bus stops, and a short walk to the train station. We couldn't recommend it enough and would love to revisit.

La Villa Desenzano turned out to be a real gem. Its location was incredibly convenient; we strolled over from the bus stop and could get to the downtown area on foot, which made exploring Desenzano easy and comfortable. The hotel was spotless, and our room offered a lovely view of a picturesque courtyard, with rustic and charming decor adding a delightful touch to the ambiance. Roberta was also lovely. She made check-in a breeze and was always easy to reach. The experience allowed us to settle in effortlessly and have a great time in Desenzano! All in all, we had an excellent overnight stay and wouldn't hesitate to return.

Nothing. Everything to perfection.

Big room, very clean, very close to the center (to walk in a couple of minutes), very kind owner and staff, good and sufficient breakfast to start the day, open parking place in the property without any problems.

The door of the bathroom is different, difficult to operate (especially for a child) and mechanism loud to use (Problem when someone else is sleeping).

Good location and easy to find if you are driving. Free secure parking. Roberta, our host, is friendly and helpful, and multi-lingual. Good breakfast, with reasonable choice of yogurt, cold meat, cheese, bread, fruit etc, not just the sweet things and cake that are the norm for most Italians. Daily maid service was a bonus too, including changes of towels and bedlinen during our six-night stay.

Some nights there was noise from very loud TV in early hours, but not sure if this was other guests or neighbours. Not much anyone can do about it though.

The location was perfect, Roberta was a wonderful host. The White Room was simple, clean and comfortable. Breakfast was good - a nice selection of pastries ( some home made), cold meats, cheese etc.

There was nothing we didn’t like. It was a great stay! However, on reflection we would have liked one of the larger rooms with more outside space - don’t think we realised there were altetnatives
