Our first night at hotel we were met by Kate she was warm and welcoming. It unfortunately happened that we had a medical emergency and we were uncertain of what to do or who to call. We called Kate and she arranged transportation to Hospital where my husband needed emergency surgery. Her support was so amazing. Being in a foreign country and booking a hotel where you have someone like Kate being there for you,helping you, and treating you like family we will never forget. We chose the right hotel. Thank you Kate our friend forever. Also the room was warm clean and comfortable! I would choose this hotel every day !

It was perfect!

Clean and bright and comfortable! Great location just around the corner from the Uffizi gallery. Staff was on site in afternoon hours for check in and available by message other hours. (And always responded promptly.) The building is several hundred years old but was fully modernized, clean and new-feeling. They did a great job of modernizing the building for comfort but leaving some original architectural features exposed to give that feel of the history. Staff offered a great list of local recommendations as well. And the small elevator was definitely welcome!

The street was quiet during the day but a little noisy at night. The staff had thoughtfully included earplugs in the amenities, but we didn't actually use them. (It wasn't THAT bad.)

Lovely room, wonderful customer service and great location! We absolutely loved this stay, definitely a highlight of our holiday. The location is perfect, close to everything you’ll need. The aesthetic of the exposed brick in the room was really cool and the room was very spacious. Kate was very accomodating and allowed us to checkin before the room was ready, so we could go out and enjoy our day with no time constraints to rush back until later that evening. Thanks for a wonderful stay, highly recommend and would definitely return!

Absolutely nothing

Excellent location if you’re walking - definitely needed a taxi from the airport but it’s so close to everything in central Florence. I love that it’s a side street kind of tucked away but still well lit. The room has everything you need and the daily cleaning was very nice!

If you don’t close the doors hard enough they can pop open on their own which would stink if that happened while you were gone. They may need new latches? Inside but a minor concern

The property was excellent, well maintained in a very central position next to main attractions and a variety of cafes and restaurants. The room was spacious, and had all the amenities that are need to make the stay unforgettable! Very clean and tide room, with great big windows, warm water all day, good lighting. Kate was an excellent professional who made our stay amazing and unforgettable, considering the fact that she arranged a treat for my birthday! She was very helpful with tips for restaurants and what to do around the city and quick responder to our questions /requests. Definitely we will return to Firenze and to Atelier delle Grazie! Thank you for the great hospitality!!!

I cannot believe how good the location of this place is! You are right next door to the Uffizi; the Ponte Vecchio is a 2 minute stroll away and the Piazza Signoria and Palazzo Vecchio is just around the corner! The room and the reception area was spotlessly clean. Nicely furnished and comfortable room with everything you need. Kate was very friendly and helpful. Communication about the booking was excellent.

As it is in a city centre location, there can be some noise at weekends. This is probably less of an issue in rooms at the back of the building, however and not a problem at all during the week.

Beautiful good sized well appointed room the one with the 4 poster. Well maintained and very clean. Good sized bathroom by English standards. Coffee machine ,kette and payable mini bar, robe and slippers provided.In great location for seeing the majority of sites Florence has to offer but enough off the main tourist area. Exceptionally friendly and helpful host.

Nothing to dislike but be aware if you are in a this room or one on the front the night club is more or less directly in front . It's open on the Thurs till Sunday l think. The hotel is down a narrow street so sound carries. So if you are there at the start of the week not a problem but suspect it could be noisy from people coming and going over the weekend. If you are a light sleeper or effected by noise request an internal court yard view.

The location was fabulous and literally 2 minutes walk from the replica statue of David. We walked everywhere from the accommodation and found some amazing places to eat plus the best gelato just 5 minutes away.

I found the bed quite firm but then I have a bad back and spent an awful lot of money on our bed at home so anything other than our own bed seems to cause me an issue. I have stayed in hotels that offer mattress toppers and that really helped. Might be worth considering offering this at this accommodation??

Hotel is in a great location, it is quite but within walking distance (10 to 15 mins) of all major attractions in the city. Hosts Irene and Julia were very helpful and friendly, communication prior and during the stay was excellent. Room comfortable and quite, we were on the 2nd floor and they have a small lift to get you up/down and with heavy luggage was a must. Small fridge and tea/coffee facilities in room, AC was good as were bathroom facilities. Good value room in great location to plenty of eating options within 5 mins stroll.

Hard to find anything to mention.

Staff were extremely friendly and welcoming, they even stayed late when we were stuck in traffic to complete check in and sent us a list of restaurant recommendations. They have a lift for luggage which was great as our room was on the top floor. The location was perfect - right by Ponte Vecchio.

The decor was a dated and a bit of the furniture was worn down - however everything felt clean and I am sure they receive plenty of guests given the location.
