Shuttle service times could be more frequent/spread throughout the day especially the evening. Not bad but for a 5* hotel the pool area could be maintained to a slightly higher standard

A beautiful hotel. We had a wonderful week here in August celebrating my mums 60th birthday. The hotel is stunning. We were very fortunate to receive an upgrade on our room and had a lovely view over the river. My mum had a balcony to her room, which she loved. The hotel was exceptionally clean. The pool is beautiful to cool down in from the 40° heat and a lovely place to relax after days spent sightseeing. The hotel runs a regular shuttle which you need to book, but we used this nearly every day, perfect to get to the centre of Florence. We had lunch on the first day in the hotel restaurant which was lovely and ordered a couple of times round the pool. Fantastic cocktails (and mocktails - which I opted for being 5 months pregnant). The mini ice creams at 5pm were also a lovely treat! The spa is hidden away under the hotel and we visited this a couple of times, which again was beautiful. The staff are very welcoming and friendly. We loved our stay and definitely plan to return with our new addition.

We had a 7-night stay at Villa Sul'Arno and overall had a wonderful experience. Initially, we faced an issue with the room setup as it only had a high spa bath (no separate bathroom), which was difficult to manage with a knee injury. Lorenzo at reception was incredibly helpful in moving us to a more suitable room with a walk-in shower, and we really appreciated his support and excellent customer service. All staff—from reception, housekeeping, restaurant, bar, to the shuttle driver Aziz—were fantastic. Aziz, in particular, was very polite and a true asset to the hotel. The only negative experience was with Francesco, the restaurant manager, who spoke to us in an unprofessional tone on two occasions, which we reported. Thankfully, the hotel manager addressed the issue promptly and offered us complimentary drinks as a gesture, which helped smooth things over. The hotel was very clean, and we appreciated the complimentary water provided daily. A small suggestion for improvement: adding a sink in room with the toilet for hygiene purposes would be helpful, instead of having to use bidet. Overall, a great hotel with excellent service and a caring team.

Very convenient to downtown. They had a shuttle, which made it easy. The restaurant and all staff were terrific. All were responsive. The rooms are clean. There were no worries It’s a good property and I would recommend it

Directly across the river, there’s a nightclub so you could actually enjoy the music even though it went onto later hours, but it wasn’t really a problem. There’s also a steel girder construction site next to it and so during the day you could hear banging on the steel but again What the heck it’s not the end of the world it’s very comfortable and it’s out of the hustle and bustle of the city.

The whole stay was absolutely wonderful. A perfect hotel with comfortable rooms, restaurants, and bar. Amazing staff who couldn't do more for us. Dinner was excellent, as was breakfast. Lovely spa, and the free shuttles were such a great perk avoiding big taxi fares. The hotel was clean and comfortable and had a wonderful ambience. Decor was perfect and really lovely to enjoy for the week. Free waters in the room were really lovely, too, and a mini bar with a range of drinks at a reasonable cost. Enjoyed prosecco on the balcony. Dressing gowns in the room were comfortable, and the turn down service was nice to have. Check-in and check out went smoothly, and taxis can be ordered at reception and arrive around 5 mins. Thank you so much

Everything was great. It would be good to have a heated outdoor pool for when the weather isn't too great but you can still enjoy a swim.

The property was immaculate and the staff were very helpful. The hotel was the perfect size and we couldn’t have wished for a better break. Breakfast was a choice of everything, from continental to cooked and home made cakes or fresh fruit. The room though small had everything you needed and was meticulously cleaned every day. It was a very comfortable stay. The outside pool area was lovely and so was the spa areas that you could book each day for the sauna, steam room and indoor pool. Thank you

There was nothing that we didn’t not like.

It was very clean and comfortable.and pretty. Air conditioning was excellent and needed in August. The front desk help were excellent.

The room sizes were quite small. The photos were rather deceptive.

It was quiet and relaxing.

The dining menu could be a better choice. I had the lamb.One piece was served in plastic. I wondered why I had a problem cutting it. Then it opened up. I asked the waiter, "Should this be in my meal ?"he said no and offered me another choice, but I said no, thank you, the meal was no charge. We didn't eat in the restaurant again, so it was bar meals . In the evening there was a card put on top of the bed so I kept putting it in the drawer next to the bed only to find that it was removed and back on the bed the next night ! I was not happy that someone had been in the drawer. What else had they been in .

The room was stunning, comfortable and immaculately clean and had all the facilities you could hope for. Breakfast was excellent with plenty of choices and delicious options. The staff were at all times friendly and charming. The attention to detail throughout the property was exemplary.

I'm not sure this is a hotel for children, the pool is so nice but its small and there are not a vast number of sunbeds. I would not consider accepting children under 12 if this was my hotel, its just not set up for them

Amazing staff! Great services. Overall just a stellar and comfortable place to stay in. So nice it's away from the tourist central.
