We were very eager to visit the beautiful city of Matera during our moto journey through Italy, and I have to say, we enjoyed every moment of our stay. A big part of that was thanks to our wonderful host, Federica. She made sure to show us where we could park our motorcycle, introduced us to the accommodation, which was tidy, clean, beautifully decorated, and comfortable, and took the time to explain what we should see, marking all the focal points on the map. Thanks to her guidance, we were able to enjoy the sunset, visit all the main sights in a short amount of time, and then simply get lost in the streets of Matera, letting ourselves fully soak in the experience. Thank you, Federica, we hope to see you again!

Great location, very nice room with comfortable bed, ample space and well decorated. Lovely breakfast which can be consumed outside in the shadows even on sunny and hot days. The love, attention to the guests and their experience that the owners put into this structure can be felt even before arriving, with detailed tips on where to park and how to best reach the location. They also gave us great tips: from what to see, to where to go for an aperitivo with a view or dinner. That was definitely a plus and made us feel welcomed and appreciated. Would recommend this accommodation to anyone wanting to have a great stay in Matera. Thank you!

Our stay in Matera was amazing. The unit is in the perfect location to explore and enjoy the fascinating old town. The AC worked great, on a brutally hot day. The room is meticulously clean and well equipped. Breakfast was classic Italian offerings. The owners were incredibly kind and generous, and even helped us back to our parking spot in town. So nice! Did I mention there was a Ferrari car show happening within 100 feet of our room? Yes, it happened. Stays like this one make vacations memorable for a lifetime. Thanks so much to the owners.

Pasquale was swift and helpful by explaining (by video) how to get free parking. He also gave me tips about what to see in the Sasso nearby, and tourist tips. Breakfast was nice, with fantastic coffee and at a table with village view. Location is in the middle of Sasso Barisano, some stairs down from parking. This is a pro and con at the same time. Firstly you feel fully immersed in the atmosphere of the Sasso, but then it also takes a tiny effort to get there. The room had 3 heaters, one of which is aircon.

Wonderful stay in the heart of Matera We had an amazing one-night stay right in the center of Matera. The host was incredibly kind — he even picked us up from the parking lot on his way to work, just to help us with our bags. We received lots of helpful tips and fantastic recommendations for dinner and an evening walk. It was a perfect place for a short family stay. Breakfast was delicious — I almost felt guilty going back for another croissant! 😊 Highly recommended!

Pasquale was amazing with explaining how to get to the room but also helped with parking. Detailed directions with photos which are very helpful in a new place. Also sent a video of locations and tips where to park. The room was spacious and after staying in Sicily / puglia for 2 weeks it was nice to have a large shower! Room was clean and beds were comfortable. We had a table on the porch and ate breakfast in front of the room. Would stay again!

Old house in the old district nicely refurbished. Nice place to explore the old part of Matera. Pasquale was very friendly, gave detailed instructions where we can leave the car, showed free parking place and drove us to the house. It is so nice to stay in the old part of Matera for the night. Breakfast was good but be careful if you sit oustside the birds try to steel bits from your breakfast :). We had a small window in the room with a wonderful view.

The apartament was perfect! There was a coffee machine and a kettle for making tea. The bed was extremely comfortable, with the ergonomic pillows. Also, the room had radiator so it was warm inside. The staff was very helpful and kind, they advised me how to go back to Bari (there is a FAL train that does not pop up on the internet) and what to see in Matera. Also, the breakfast was nice, and for the dinner, there is a pizza place just next to the Agli Archi :)

Appartment in an old building in location in the Sassi quarter! And close to oanoramic view over valey and Matera ols town

Location of the place a bit problematic to get to - Goggle Maps does not give best directions. If you have a car and/or a suitcase better find a place to park away from the historic centre and get a taxi in the direction of the nearest hotel to the appartment - it is very difficult to walk with a suitcase

First of all we fell in love with Matera. Secondly Federica was amazing and made our stay unforgettable! She helped us with everything! From giving us directions to the hotel, give as a map for the city and help us find our lost bag! The room was located in the center of Matera. It was traditional with special architecture and really spacious. We will return as soon as possible! Grazie!!!
