The room is exactly like the pictures . Very clean and provide all the necessary . We share toilets but they are always very clean . The staff was very nice and helpful , changed our towels and cleaned the bed everyday. Walk distance to train , tram and metro . Good recommendation for staying a couples day in Milan

I think the room or apartment needs a fridge to share . It is inconvenient to go down at midnight to buy something cold to drink. Even though the room was very good

It was rather noisy all night as we had the windows open for some airflow and the earplugs disn’t really help.

This place is absolutely ideal to stay at for a few days. It's in a busy area as it's pretty close to the central train station, easy to get there by walk from the station. Recommended for those who aren't renting a car but use public transport instead, the tube is nearby, too. The owner is extremely thoughtful, we received some welcoming packages - slippers, toiletries and earplugs. The latter was necessary as the neighbourhood is a busy one, so the noise during the night, and especially after sunrise, is inevitable. We used our rooms only to sleep 8-9 hours, we were not there for the rest of the day, so it was great for that purpose. It was 7 of us, we booked 3 separate rooms and there are 2 more rooms in this accommodation, on the same floor. There are 2 bathrooms: 2 showers, 2 toilets, 2 washbasins + an additional washbasin with a mirror at the entrance of the shared bathrooms. The bathrooms were spotlessly clean at all times and they smelled really good due to some automatic air freshener. The logistics of using shared bathrooms may be difficult at times, but it worked for us. Additionally: the owner of the place was really friendly and helpful, he was happy to give us advice where to go, where to eat and how to get there. Overall, it was a pleasant stay, highly recommended for those who have no problem sleeping, it's worth the price compared to some more expensive places.

The location of Guest House Brianza was ideal for me -- near the Stazione Centrale but in a quiet zone. My room, in an interior suite of rooms, was sparkling clean. There were other bedrooms in the suite and two shared bathrooms, also spotlessly clean. Each guest was supplied with earplugs to cope with any noise made by other guests coming in or out or using the bathrooms late at night, but this was not a problem during my stay. When I arrived, from Parma, I must have looked tired and thirsty, which I was, and the proprietor handed me a bottle of water without asking me any questions. No one has ever done that before. Perhaps he was moved to do so because of my age (I'm a senior); whatever the case, I greatly appreciated his gracious gesture.

I found one feature of the guest house disconcerting: the location of light switches. The overhead light switch for my room was outside the door of my room, which struck me as very odd, and I never found the light switch for one of the two bathrooms -- the one that had no window, so I wasn't able to use it. Fortunately, there was little pressure on bathroom use from other guests. Also, the guest house will not store luggage, and prospective guests need to be aware of this if, as was my case, they have a pressing work or other commitment before leaving for their next destination.

Selected this property as it was the best value for money (relatively low cost plus high rating) and it turned out to be very good. If anyone is looking for somewhere to stay in Milan, this property is ideal as it is located a 5 minute walk from the central station front door and the facilities were brilliant. The bathroom is listed as shared, however, there were multiple on the level we stayed on, so each room went to a different one - it was essentially private.

I can’t fault anything. I wouldn’t have ever normally booked a “shared” bathroom property, however, this did not feel like that. I have zero criticisms of our 1 night stay.

The room was good value for money, everything is clean and serviceable, the wifi quick and reliable. My reception was very friendly and helpful. The room came with not only a towel and some toiletries, but also earplugs, a comb and a kettle and teabags. The location near the train station was great as I had an early departure the next day and there is a sufficient number of shops and restaurants around the area to find something you like or need.

It's a bit noisy as you are near the train tracks and near a parking garage, but they thoughtfully provide you with earplugs. The curtains don't keep out much light and the tv is teeny tiny (but I didn't use it anyways as the wifi was great). Other than that, this was just a good basic accommodation option with more than a few extras.

Location, cleanliness, cosy, comfortable…

Everything was great overall. I just have one suggestion for the host: it would be helpful to clarify the air conditioning policy in the listing. If I remember correctly, there's a building regulation that AC can't be turned on unless the temperature exceeds 25 degrees. Fortunately, the night was comfortable even without AC.

The location is great especially if you need to be next to the Milan Central Train Station, it is within walking distance even with the luggage. We had the flight at night and easily moved to the bus stop at night to get the bus to the airport. The staff was very friendly. On the opposite side of the street, there is perfect small Italian restaurant with great pizza for 9 Euro. The room was clean and comfortable. There is an electric kettle in the room for tea or coffee, a bottle of water, and all other small things you need.

The guest house is very close to the central station, it takes a few minutes to get there, good location. Everything is very clean, bathrooms are clean, and although the bathrooms are shared, it's not a problem, nobody bothers anybody, you can use it, whenever you want. The host provides shower gel/shampoo, towel, earplug and slippers, which is very useful. It is good that you can be very independent with your keys. The host is nice. The view from the room is not very good, but it's not the point at all. I had a good time staying here.

Maybe it's just me, but I could not get in to the building, when I arrived. But as soon as I got the keys, it was easy.

Ten minute walk from Centrale Train Station; very clean and welcoming. Shared bathrooms but they were very clean and there was no issue there. We had a late (midnight) arrival and Diego was very charming and helpful. Decent linen, towels and some guest amenities and water were a welcome surprise.

The bed was very very firm which was fine for us as we only stayed one night. The room let in too much light from the window (lots of exterior lights on at night in the parking lot downstairs) - not a major issue unless you need total darkness.
