I stayed at Hotel CSI Metropoli in Milan and had a generally decent experience. The hotel is located opposite the central railway station, on the third floor of a building. While convenient for train connections, it's about four metro stops from the Duomo and main tourist areas, so you’ll need to use and pay for public transport to explore the city. The building has a lift, but it doesn't always work, which can be inconvenient if you're carrying luggage. The room itself was fine – nothing fancy, but clean enough. The bed was comfortable, and the heating worked well. However, there's no air-conditioning, so the room felt quite stuffy. Opening the balcony door helps with airflow, but it’s very noisy due to the traffic outside. There is luggage storage for free. The bus stop to Malpensa airport is in front of the hotel, there is also train from/to Malpensa. The traveling time is about 1 hour.

My room was also near the breakfast area, which added to the noise in the mornings. Another downside was a noticeable smell coming from the bathroom.

Location. Outside central station, metres from airport bus. Bit of a walk to town but manageable, or you can take the metro right outside. Restaurants in area and Aldi around the corner. Solid breakfast but coffee was pretty average. Staff very helpful and speak English. Luggage storage on checkout available. Room has everything you need.

Small points. Safe didn’t work, staff didn’t know how to fix. Shower smelt mouldy and plenty black stuff around edges. False floor inserted but one night drainage filled up. Skipped shower one morning due luke warm water only. Very hot and aircon didn’t seem to work, but I opened the window. Has lift but fitting two with ski bags was impossible: my luggage took it while I climbed the stairs! But overall I had a good stay here, an interesting and good place to stay. I recommend it. These points for property guidance.

It is located very close to Milano Central Station. It is across the street from the station where the tram runs. The hotel sign was small so it was hard to find. Google Navigation wasn't working properly and the navigation system was pointing to the building on the opposite side. Look for the sign "Hotel Midway". It was in the same building as that hotel. I have uploaded a photo of the building the hotel is in. The hotel room was clean, the air conditioning was good and the bed was comfortable. I had an early departure the next day so it was good to be close to the station. Thank you!

The location couldn’t be better – it’s right across the street from the metro, making it incredibly easy to get around the city. The continental breakfast was fresh and satisfying, and the staff was friendly and welcoming. The rooms were spotless, comfortable, and well-maintained.

Finding the hotel was a little challenging. It’s located within a larger building complex that houses a few other hotels, so it took us a moment to figure out where to go. The elevator was small and a bit older, though it felt safe and did the job.

Well, the hotel was very clean, neat, simply but elegantly designed, very friendly staff, and I would say the beds were so so comfortable. Cleaning services were daily without even us mentioning it to the staff. The location was at a very good point. 5mints from metro , train, bus to airport. There were military and police in the central station 24/7 and generally I would recommend it to others. If I ever visit milan again I will certainly go to this hotel!!!

The only thing I would change is a bigger sign because we arrived at 2am and had a bit of a hard time finding it. The hotel staff, though, sent us the appropriate information days before, but still, it was a bit confusing for us.

Perfect location just steps away from the train station and buses/taxis to/from Malpensa airport. Great place to spend a night in between your travels. Clean, modern, comfortable bed, they do have AC control in each room, but you might need to ask the front desk to unlock it. Coffee machine and some drinks/snacks are available at the front desk.

Might be hard to find if you do not read the reviews or message the property ahead of time for the directions. It’s pretty simple though: Walk to the exact address that google shows you, underneath ADA hotel sign (next to the arch with the metal gates) it’s multiple hotel signs with intercoms , look for Metropoli, buzz - they unlock the door. Take the elevator to the 3rd floor.

location - very close to central station&metro, comfortable and large room, 24h reception, quite and clean room good Wifi, had a small fridge and a safe-deposit box, digital screen for do not distrurb/please clean the room, lots of restaurants/strores near by, bike station in front of hotel

no balcony for all rooms, for breakfast you did not find always stuff (slow resupply), the receptionists looked not so eager to answer questions, the building and elevator are old - but the hotel floor is nicely rehabilitated

Very friendly staff, very close to train station which makes it very convenient for both arriving by train, and leaving for airport (airport shuttle departs just outside the hotel). Balcony included in room (though there is not much of a view…)

Don’t expect too much decor-wise. Very blandly white and quite compact room.

Location is right across Milan Central station, 24hrs reception, firm bed, a lot of restaurants and grocery stores nearby. Street is not too noisy, building and location feel safe. Shower pressure is good. Clean sheets and clean room. Entrance to the building is near the corner beside Queen Bar at the end of the street. Hotel is on the 3rd floor, they have a small sign at the entrance of the building. Our room had a small balcony overlooking the train station. Some toiletries were provided (toothbrush and toothpaste, cotton buds, shower cap).

Small bottled water they sell is €3. Better to buy from the nearby Carrefour Express for a bigger bottle that costs €0.70. Only 3 pillows were provided and they were a bit hard. Room gets hot so the window gets too much moisture and water pools on the floor. Only one elevator is available and it's too small to fit more than 2 people comfortably. If you have big and multiple luggages then it's gonna be difficult.

The location was super convenient (right opposite the train station so very easy for our arrival and departure, a bit away from the Duomo and touristy activities but very easy to get there with public transport from the station- took 20 minutes on the underground to reach the duomo and then 30mins by tram to get back). Room was basic but clean and with everything we needed. Staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was also simple but everything you’d need to start the day. All in all was better than expected given it’s price compared to others in the area.
