This hotel is one of the best options in Naples for the price offered. The rooms are nice, and the reception staff was supportive and kind.

The hotel is located in the same building as the Marine Terminal, but be aware that if you have large bags, you'll need to walk 100-200 meters to reach the entrance. The internet connection in the room was unstable. There's a penalty fee if you lose your plastic room key card, which I found a bit unusual. The breakfast was okay, though not exceptional, and the reception area is quite small and can get crowded.

Perfect location at the maritime station, shuttle bus to and from the airport and railway station , stop is right outside hotel, 2 min walk. 5 euros flat fare pay on bus. Lovely deluxe room, we were given free upgrade. Nice quiet bar.

Coffee was the only disappointment, instant coffee in the room and nescafe machine at breakfast.

We had a fantastic stay at this hotel, perfectly located right at the port, with an amazing view of the cruise ships coming and going. The room was spacious and tastefully decorated, and one detail I especially loved was the color-changing lights in the bathroom—such a fun and modern touch! The staff were incredibly friendly and always ready to help with a smile. Since we had an early flight, they kindly arranged a taxi for us and even prepared breakfast bags to take with us—such thoughtful service! We left feeling very happy with our stay and would definitely choose this hotel again when visiting Naples.

It is an excellent choice for Naples. I was initially not very enthousiastic with the hotel when i booked it due to the "port" location. However, it proved to be excellent choice. It is located in the cruise terminal, always guarded by police, parking outside the hotel (not hotel managed, costs 30,00 euro per day 00:01-23:59, or 3 EURO per hour, be careful if you leave the car before 00:00 you will be charged 30 EURO for both days). The hotel is very clean, spacy rooms and nicely decorated. Breakfast is not super for 4* but has quite good coffee and choices of savory and sweet. it is 10 minute walk for Via Toledo, easy walking distance with large pedestrian area and even a nice modern tunel with auto corridor leading to metro, (Do not be afraid of taking the underway passage to walk to the center. Overall great choice as it is a hotel and not B&B.

Bathroom shower maintenance could be improved and it needs to be careful while taking the shower because the water easily runs out of the shower.

I really liked the staff's friendliness and helpfulness. The restaurant staff was very nice as well. The wifi was great for our work purposes. The room was very cosy but spacious and clean. The breakfast was very vast, fresh and delicious. The hotel is close to many points of interest and very accessible. Overall it had a nice aesthetic quality. Despite being situated in the port the rooms are incredibly soundproof.

I wish there could have been more snack options available as there was only one vending machine with very limited items. I also wish there could have been more facilities like a gym or an indoor pool. These weren’t dealbreakers.

The location of the hotel is really convenient - direct connection from airport, close to the metro station, right in the port. The room was very quiet and very clean. The staff was helpful and nice. The area of the hotel is very safe. I couldn't ask for more. Would definitely stay there a second time.

Loved the whole experience right from front desk staff to everyone. Breakfast was really good as well. Special mention to Bartender Tina and Chef Sara. Tina is an incredible bartender— her cocktails are creative, perfectly balanced, and absolutely delicious. She has a knack for recommending the perfect drink to suit your mood and tastes. Her warm and welcoming demeanor made the evenings I stayed even more enjoyable. Chef Sara deserves just as much praise. The dishes she prepared were nothing short of amazing—beautifully plated, bursting with flavor, and cooked to perfection. You can tell she pours her heart and soul into her cooking. The Gnocchi was particularly outstanding and easily one of the best I’ve ever had. Together, Tina and Sara make an unbeatable duo, elevating the entire experience. Great location close to city center- walking distance. Literally next to all the means of transportation- Alibus to and from airport, ferries to everywhere, underground. Breakfast and other meals were excellent. The room was largely comfortable and quiet. Some of the staff were friendly and helpful and provided information on getting around, services etc

One member of staff at the front desk was very rude and disrespectful There seemed to be odd rules that were communicated in writing not in a customer friendly manner such as - it is “forbidden “ to do x or y There seemed to be an ant problem which needs to be addressed.

I had a wonderful experience at this hotel in Naples. The location is perfect—right inside the main port, close to all major attractions, restaurants, and public transport. It made exploring the city so convenient. The room was spotlessly clean, modern, and well-maintained. The bed was very comfortable, and the amenities were just what I needed for a relaxing stay. I especially appreciated the attention to detail in keeping everything neat and tidy. The staff were friendly, helpful, and always available to answer questions or give recommendations. I felt truly welcomed during my stay. If you’re looking for a hotel that combines cleanliness, a great location, and excellent service, this is the one. I would definitely stay here again on my next visit to Naples!

We really enjoyed our stay at Smart hotel Naples and would highly recommend it to other travellers. The staff at reception were so helpful and spoke excellent English, special thank you to Alessandro for her helpful tips, on Metro,trains and places to eat.They had lots of information about places to go and the best way to get there. The breakfast was good and we really enjoyed fuelling up for the day especially the fresh fruit and croissants. We enjoyed having a drink in the hotel bar and found the menu varied and delicious. Before we left to go to the airport we popped into the bar for some food and a drink only to find we were a bit early for food but Francesco went over and above and went and made me a plate of delicious bruschetta.The hotel location was perfect the ALI bus from the airport sopped outside the hotel and picked up in the same place. It was also very convenient for the ferry to Capri and the other islands. Must mention the amazing bed we had such good nights sleep. We hope to get back to Naples and will Definitely stay at Smart Hotel, thank you all the staff for making out stay so comfortable and enjoyable. Sylvia and Anthony Swift
