The terrace is lovely with a great breakfast. The rooms are clean and comfortable and the host and the staff there are so incredibly kind and helpful. They gave us food recommendations, a map (the property is literally in the centre of Palermo so nothing is a far walk) and just generally was so helpful! We had a lovely stay and enjoyed some good cannolis as recommended!

Not that I didn’t like but I’d be prepared for stairs if you’re arriving out of hours. The host helped us with our bags but it would have been a struggle without his help. It’s such a beautiful property that it is worth it though!

This was one of my favourite places to stay in our visit to Italy . This Bed and Breakfast style hotel definitely has character the staff are soo nice and pleasant, Vito who check us in was soo nice and made sure we had everything we needed . He waited for us at the entrance to make sure we knew where we were going and also messaged to keep track of us on WhatsApp. Cetty the breakfast lady was the highlight of this place she welcomed you to breakfast with the warmest smile and I hope someone tells her what an awesome job she is doing . The breakfast was fresh with cold cuts and hot and cold beverages and a wide selection of delicious pastries . Overall I would stay here again it’s very central to Palermo

Not much to not like unless you’re very picky . You’re on vacation

Location was truly incredible! Right in the centre of the old town, all of the main sights were within walking distance to us so was perfect for a shorter stay when we didn’t have a lot of time to waste. Breakfast was a buffet style or your typical Italian foods such as cold meats/cheese and sweet treats etc. The lady who looked after breakfast was incredible and even explain some of the Sicilian delicacies to me and put up with my poor attempts at communicating in Italian! The terrace was BEAUTIFUL! Was such a pleasure to wake up to it and relax with views of Palermo. Perhaps the best thing about our stay here was the staff. Exceptional service, nothing was too much bother, we received amazing tips and advice for the city, help with our bags up the stairs and were always available via WhatsApp. The communication pre our trip to arrange check in too was very helpful. We couldn’t recommend this place enough.

It could be a bit a bit noisy on the streets at night but that’s charm on staying in the old town.

The receptionist was incredibly friendly, and I regret not catching his name. He was fantastic at providing recommendations on where to go and what to do. We were especially grateful that they took our suitcases up the stairs, which was a thoughtful gesture given how tired we were. Breakfast was decent, with enough variety to satisfy, and the location was convenient, making it easy to reach many tourist attractions quickly. Also when we were leaving they helped us with again bringing down the suitcase and booking a taxi. Very helpful and it was a good stay

Nothing to dislike, we were just there for one night and it was good accommodation for the purpose.

Wonderful central location

All the staff were kind, helpful and cheerful, that’s so important when you’re a visitor. We loved the view from the terrace, it’s a delightful space to start the day. It was great to have a kettle in the bedroom, that’s not common in Sicily. The bed was really comfortable. The B&B is just 2 minutes’ walk from the city centre and 10 mins from central rail station. Some reviewers mention the steps. Our 3rd floor room had 73 steps with a further 18 steps to the terrace so this was a good opportunity to stay fit, it didn’t bother us. We loved living in the centre of Palermo and having 2 balconies for our room and use of the beautiful terrace on the roof

Very helpful staff. Nice size room with plenty of storage. Really enjoyed having a terrace. Breakfast terrace had.great views, was very good with excellent cakes. The location was great, we could easily walk to all places we wanted to visit. It is 15 min walk from Palermo Centrale with cases.

We knew there were no lifts and we’re glad we were on 2nd Floor. So this really advise retirees like ourselves that if you have big/heavy cases you may find the stairs challenging.

Family run hotel where the owners went out of their way to make our stay in Palermo brilliant!! They provided a map with secret spots they recommended and went through it with us personally so we knew where we were going. The location could not have been closer to the historic centre as it was literally a couple of minutes walk from Quattro Canti. The breakfast was lovely and the lady making it was so nice and helpful. I would thoroughly recommend La Terrazza sul Centro

There was nothing not to like

Our welcome at reception was fantastic, so helpful and informative. The location is just excellent so central and yet very quiet. Breakfast was simple fresh and lovely and eating on the roof terrace was a brilliant start to the day

Don’t be worried by the strange entrance to the hotel- it is not indicative at all of what you will find. However there are a lot of steps up to the hotel and then up to the breakfast terrace so be aware if you are not keen on steps. But it really is worth it.

The location was great in a pedestrianised area just around the corner from a buzzy street and yet it couldn't have been quieter for a great night's sleep. The staff were extra helpful re what to see and how to get there. The room was simple yet very stylish with lovely shutters on the windows. The roof terrace was fabulous with views all around where we had breakfast and could use throughout the day. Perfect.

Just one small thing though I hesitate to point it out since everything else was just so good - on the last day we had a towel with a rip in it. Would most certainly recommend staying here.
