great location, a short walk to several attractions, the port and bars, restaurants and shops. The hotel staff were friendly, approachable and very professional. There was an excellent array of food at breakfast time, something for everyone.

The cost of drinks in the terrace bar was the same as down by the marina which is a tourist trap. Even more disappointing is the fact that there are a handful of bars and restaurants minutes away that are serving drinks half price. The gym facilities were decidedly average, cobbled together to be able to "tick that box"

Great location

The front desk staff are unprofessional and rude, trying to push the most expensive options and offering shady recommendations. Especially the older, bald Italian man with a beard and brown teeth.

We were very pleased with the location; it was perfect in the middle of the historical centre of Palermo. Easy to walk from the central train station, though we did only have back packs. Taxi would be fine if you have suitcases. There is so much activity in the streets outside of the hotel, within walking distance to the cathedral, Bollaro markets and other attractions. Staff were very helpful, we had a leak in our room, and they moved us to an even better room. Hotel decor was gorgeous, breakfast rooms were amazing and breakfast was delicious. Would definitely recommend this hotel and was value for money.

Location was just perfect. Easy access to all the main sites.

Presidential suite was not as opulent as the rest of the hotel.

Splendid palatial turn of the century decor in public areas and rooms.Good quality furniture, comfortable beds and a real bathroom with BATH. Despite humid 35 degree torment outdoors,the room remained cool. The breakfast on the second floor was excellent,and we enjoyed the rooftop restaurant,both for its view,food and service. On our subsequent visit to the hotel a quiet room away from the street was requested,and was provided.

Our room was on the first floor,street frontage.Although one window was double,the balcony door offered little sound insulation owing to a very poor fit.The street had noise at all times except 4- 5 hours at night.

We had a wonderful stay at Eurostars Centrale Palace Hotel in Palermo. The hotel is perfectly located - close to historical spots, shopping and restaurants. We walked to hotel from the train station. Friendly, helpful and attentive staff. Wifi was reliable. Our room was clean, spacious, comfortable and quiet with lots of storage. The bathroom was somewhat dated, but very large and very functional. Breakfast selection was very good and was served in a beautiful room. Palermo is a very busy, noisy city and it was a pleasure to return to our room each night to relax and rejuvenate for the adventures of the next day. We would definitely return to this hotel.

Some other reviews suggest the hotel needs renovation. Yes, it is an old building - but that is part of the attraction. It is beautifully decorated, charming and seems well taken care of. We loved it.

The location was excellent as most of the main sights to see were walking distance, up to 15/20 minutes. Cafes and restaurants were all around the hotel so there was plenty of choice. The shops were also all around as the hotel with a few mini markets. The breakfast was lovely with fresh fruit, pastries, hot food, cold cuts, cereal etc and the room was spacious and clean. The staff at the reception desk were helpful and kind especially Mr Matteo. A big thank you to him.

The cleaning staff could have been more attentive when checking the bathroom. The toilet roll was left off the toilet holder so it looked messy.

A very classic hotel full of history

The parking lot and the access are complicated because it’s a pedestrian area

Location was perfect. The room was large and very nice. The reception staff were very helpful and friendly. The private terrace was wonderful. The breakfast was diverse and delicious.

Our room was in a wing with no direct elevator access. There was a slight sewer smell in the hallway on this floor and a fair amount of outside noise from construction and a nearby school. Our daughter’s room was much better in these areas. If we return to Palermo, we would stay at this hotel but in a different part of the building.

Brilliant location - we could walk everywhere, loved the style - huge chandeliers, beautiful elegant rooms with period furniture on each floor. The super-king bed in our room was really comfortable with crisp white bed linen and comfy pillows. It was peaceful and quiet. The reception staff were very helpful with restaurant recommendations, arranging airport transfers and giving us a different room on arrival as we asked if we could have a room with a bath not just a shower. It was also a larger room which was great. Very nice restaurant on the 4th floor.

We felt it could benefit from some updating, particularly in the bathroom which was a bit worn, and the lift! - but it would not put us off staying there again ❤️
